Celine Dion debunks, warns fans of fake AI-generated songs spreading online
"It has come to our attention that unsanctioned, AI-generated music purporting to contain Celine Dion's musical performances, and name and likeness, is currently circulating online and across various Digital Service Providers," the post read.
It also advised fans that the recordings are 'fake and not approved' and are also not a part of Dion's official discography.
The statement was posted to Dion's official Instagram on Friday, March 7.
The following day was International Women's Day, which Dion celebrated with an uplifting post of prominent women in the music industry such as Beyonce and Adele.
The 2024 documentary, "I Am: Celine Dion," highlights Dion's music, career journey and looks the superstar's struggle with a life-altering illness.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Sony Music Entertainment, the documentary was available for streaming on Prime Video on June 25.
The documentary's 20-song official soundtrack features Dion's greatest hits from 'The Power of Love" and 'My Heart Will Go On,' and includes seven original score tracks.
Dion is a former Jupiter Island resident. She sold her oceanfront Treasure Coast home for $28 million in 2017.
The 5.7 acre, 13-bedroom estate was designed and custom-built for the musical icon and her family in 2010, Sothebys reported.

Dion currently lives in Henderson, Las Vegas, according to reports.
Celine Dion was among various exciting names to fill SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens on Tuesday.
Dion watched her former Jupiter Island neighbor, Tiger Woods, play at the March 4 TGL match at Palm Beach State College.

Katy Perry could be forgiven by veteran's family in $15M mansion war
As the second phase of Katy Perry's legal battle with Carl Westcott kicks off in court, the 85-year-old veteran's family tells The Post they are willing to forgive the pop star for subjecting them to the burdens of the trial — but they want one thing. While a judge already ruled that Perry was the rightful owner of the Santa Barbara, Calif., mansion, the 'Dark Horse' singer countersued Westcott, claiming he is on the hook for $3.25 million in damages because she couldn't rent the home during their legal battle from September 2020 to March 2024. However, after years of litigation, the judge stated that 'Westcott presented no persuasive evidence that he lacked capacity to enter into a real estate contract between June 10, 2020, and June 18, 2020, the days during which he negotiated and signed the contract,' and awarded Perry the mansion in December 2023. Regarding the alleged damages (phase two of the proceedings), the singer's attorneys claimed experts examined the estate last year and determined 'that significant portions needed to be repaired, including nearly a million dollars in pervasive flood damage that occurred in early 2024 and substantial repairs that are needed due to a large tree falling on and cracking the foundation of one of the buildings on the Property, among many other defects throughout the Property.' 'Gudvi bargained for the condition of the Property in July 2020, and the $15 million purchase price was based on the Property as it existed at that time. 'An apology would be nice. That would tie a ribbon around the whole thing,' he shared in an exclusive interview before the trial. '[I'm] not expecting it. I don't think it's in her nature to take responsibility for anything, really at all, but certainly not for her bad acts. She doesn't take responsibility, so that's not going to happen. The pop star's legal team filed a request on Wednesday, August 20, for her to testify on the first day of trial, according to court documents obtained by The Post, claiming it's her only availability. Perry is performing in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, and Miami on Saturday, before heading overseas for her concerts beginning on September 6. 'We're having to spend money on obviously plane flights, hotel rooms and all this sort of thing. It's a big inconvenience for everybody. It doesn't seem to be an inconvenience for her. Which, you know, is very telling,' he said in the interview. 'So, unfortunately, for us, the legal fees will be high. And it's a huge inconvenience in terms of time [and] money for the giant waste that she's put us all through.' 'I don't want to cause any sort of agitation with him,' Chart explained, noting Westcott is 'tired, dying and old.' While the veteran's family isn't holding their breath for an apology, Chart said he's 'excited to unmask' Perry and 'the spurious nature of these damages claims, which are just utterly ridiculous and a complete insult to both my father, my brother and I, and our family.'
