‘The Floor' & ‘Extracted' Renewed At Fox
The Floor has been renewed for Season 4 and Season 5 and Extracted returns for its second season.

The news comes ahead of Fox's Upfront next week.
The Floor is a physical quiz show that sees contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into a hundred equal squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
In each episode, the first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent's category. The winner takes over the loser's square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game. The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger? The last contestant standing who gains full control over The Floor takes home a $250,000 cash prize.
It is produced by John De Mol's Talpa Studios, The Mole producer Eureka Productions and BiggerStage, a production company based in Ireland, where it is filmed.
De Mol, Maartin Meijs, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, Jayne Parker, Pat Kiely and Sean O'Riordan serve as executive producers. Anthony Carbone serves as showrunner and Rob Lowe, who has a first-look deal with the network, is co-exec producer.
The first season premiered in January 2024; in May 2024 it was renewed for seasons two and three. Season two premiered in September and the third season returned in February after the Super Bowl, which Fox said made it the highest-rated unscripted entertainment series telecast in the last two years.
This deal marks its latest two-season order.
Meanwhile, Extracted, which counts Sylvester Stallone among its exec producers, is returning to the Canadian wilderness for its second season.
It features 12 untrained competitors attempting to survive extremely grueling conditions, perilous terrain, and the threat of fearsome predators in the unforgiving Canadian wilderness. Meanwhile, some miles away, their family members are locked down at a secluded headquarters watching them navigate their dangerous surroundings alone via a 24/7 live feed. The fate of each untrained contestant in the wilderness lies in the hands of their family members back in HQ. Each amateur survivalist's family has the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to brave the elements and fight to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the ominous 'Extract' button and remove their loved one and their whole family from the competition. Extracted begs the question: how far will their loved ones let them go for a chance for their family to win $250,000?
It comes from Sony Pictures Television's B17 Entertainment, Sylvester Stallone's Balboa Productions and Fox Entertainment. Stallone, Rhett Bachner, Brien Meagher, Braden Aftergood, Kourosh Taj, Rob Buchta and Lauren Taylor Harding serving as exec producer with Harding also serving as showrunner.
The show launched in February and wrapped up its ten-part run in April. Fox said Extracted's premiere ranked as broadcast's highest-rated unscripted series debut in nearly a year.
It's been a busy week for Fox, which renewed The Masked Singer for Season 14 with the singing competition returning in January, eschewing a fall run for the first time since its launch in 2019.
The network has also renewed a number of its scripted shows including comedies Animal Control and Going Dutch, ordered new series including a Josh Charles-led adaptation of British drama Doc Martin and canceled Rescue HI-Surf after one season.

Since the first half of the long-awaited second season of Wednesday premiered on Netflix on Aug. 6, fans have been buzzing about the stars' return to the Addams Family universe, with Zeta-Jones back as matriarch Morticia and Ortega as her sharp-witted teenage daughter Wednesday. During the interview, Ortega asks how Zeta-Jones made her Morticia different from other Morticias. "Well, I respect everyone who has come before me because they've all had such wonderful attributes," Zeta-Jones says. "Getting into the shoes of a role like Morticia is like doing Lady Macbeth. Thousands of great actresses played Lady Macbeth through centuries, but Judi Dench did it different. Judi Dench did it her way. So I feel honored that I'm in such a great line." "I think a note that rings true in my ears that [series creator Tim Burton] gave me, and I'm sure all of us, was just to keep our characters rooted in realism," she continues. "You can push the caricature of it all as long as it's rooted in truth. When I think of Wednesday season 1, I think of Jenna's dance and her playing the cello." Ortega notes that "the cello has been the most difficult thing of the entire show." At one point during the interview, Zeta-Jones asks Ortega if she's given her any advice that's stuck with her. "Not to blow smoke or anything, but I feel like I take everything that you say very seriously, whether it be a joke or about the business and work," Ortega says. "I respect you. I respect your history and film. I have immense passion for you. I feel like you don't take yourself too seriously, but you take your craft immensely seriously. You've got a really good balance and understanding of what it means to operate in this industry, and I think I would like to be like you in that sense." Zeta-Jones — who has daughter Carys, 22, and son Dylan, 25, with husband Michael Douglas — says she and Ortega share a lot of similarities. "I feel like I am part of you and you are part of me in a lovely way," Zeta-Jones says. "First of all, I think we have a drive and an appreciation for what we do as a craft as opposed to celebrities at large. We have a sense of humor we both pick up on. How to use the Google Photos app's new Remix tool to transform your pictures
Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR Google has offered more details on its new Remix feature for the Photos app. Users will be able to edit photos to reflect different art styles, such as anime, 3D animation, sketch, and comic books. There will be a Regenerate button to get different results. Back in July, Google announced the Photos app would get two new AI-powered features. One tool was a photo-to-video generator, and the other turns photos into illustrations reflecting different art styles. Google said that the latter tool would roll out in the next few weeks. While it has yet to widely launch, the tech giant shared more details about the feature. Don't want to miss the best from Android Authority? In a community forum post, Google explains how to use its artistic styles editor, which it calls Remix. To start, you'll need to open Google Photos and tap on the Create new button (the plus icon in the top right corner). From there, you'll see the Remix option and you can follow these steps: To try out Remix, tap Try now. Select a style. To choose a photo that you want to edit, tap Choose photo. To change your selected photo, tap Change photo. Tap Generate. You can save and share your edited photo: To save the photo, tap Save. To share the photo, tap Share. The company warns that this is an 'experimental' feature, so the generated results may not always match up with the photo. Additionally, you'll want to use photos that are well-lit and focused to get the best results. If the results aren't to your liking, there will be a Regenerate button to get different results in the same art style. The tool is rolling out with four art styles to choose from: anime, 3D animation, sketch, and comic books. Google has not said if it plans to add more art styles in the future.
