Ahaan Panday
and
Aneet Padda
have made a powerful debut with their romantic drama 'Saiyaara'. Directed by
Mohit Suri
, the film is not just winning hearts but also smashing box office records. After a strong second weekend, 'Saiyaara' has neared the Rs 250 crore mark and now aims to hit the Rs 275–300 crore range in the coming days.
Saiyaara Movie Review
A good second week run
The film showed no signs of slowing down in its second week. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, so far 'Saiyaara' earned Rs 1.96 crore on its second Monday (Day 11), taking the total collection to Rs 249.21 crore. The movie is now just a step away from officially entering the Rs 250 crore club.
The second weekend was impressive with Saturday and Sunday collections pushing the film closer to the Rs 300 crore mark. The buzz around the film continues to grow, especially among young audiences.
One of the biggest highlights of 'Saiyaara's' journey is that the film did not drop below double-digit earnings for the first 10 days, and the film stayed strong with consistent collections.
Weekdays could bring a dip in numbers
Now, as the film enters its second week, the weekdays could bring some dip in numbers, as usually happens. But if the fall is not too much, the film might smoothly sail past the Rs 275 crore mark and possibly Rs 300 crore soon.

Beating big films at the Box Office
While many recent films have relied on star power, 'Saiyaara' is standing tall based purely on its content, emotions, and music. The film has done better than big releases like 'Dunki', which marked the return of
Shah Rukh Khan
with Rajkumar Hirani, and 'Singham Again', which brought back the Ajay Devgn–Rohit Shetty pair.
'Saiyaara' has also passed popular films like 'Drishyam 2' (Rs 239.67 crore), 'The Kerala Story' (Rs 239.05 crore), and 'Krrish 3' (Rs 231.79 crore).
It is now just above the collections of 'URI: The Surgical Strike' (Rs 244.14 crore), which was called an all time Blockbuster.
'Saiyaara' film review
The Times of India gave 'Saiyaara' 3 stars and praised the film's emotional moments. The review said, 'Suri gets the emotional core just right, but the film's uneven pacing intermittently slows things down and often rushes through pivotal turns. Moments of raw emotion do land, though a slightly rushed climax leaves much to be desired.'
Ahaan Panday's performance has been getting a lot of attention. The review added, 'Ahaan Panday makes a smashing debut, capturing both the rough-edged swagger of a star-in-the-making and the vulnerability demanded later on. His prowess is on display in the finale as he revisits an earlier scene—channelling Virat 'King' Kohli—transforming the raw passion of the first half into pure emotion later.'
Can 'Saiyaara' touch Rs 300 crore?
Looking at the current trend, 'Saiyaara' seems all set to cross the Rs 250 crore mark officially by the end of Day 11.
If it keeps performing well, the film could even become the second Hindi film of the year to enter the Rs 300 crore club.
Tough competition ahead?
The next big challenge for 'Saiyaara' will come on 1st August, when two new films, 'Dhadak 2' and 'Son of Sardaar', are set to release. This may affect the film's momentum, but with the love it's receiving from viewers, 'Saiyaara' still has a good chance to keep going strong.

Optical illusion: Only a person who loves animals can spot the hidden snake in just 10 seconds

A challenging optical illusion is testing animal lovers' observation skills. A photograph taken in the wild features a cleverly hidden snake, believed to be a pit viper or copperhead, blending seamlessly into its surroundings. Are you someone who has a soft spot for animals? A true animal lover with a sharp eye for nature's hidden details? Then here's a challenge that might just test your love and observation skills at the same time! This isn't one of those cute 'spot the difference' puzzles or emoji grids. No, this one's real. We're talking about an actual photograph, clicked in raw, wild nature, and somewhere in this image, a snake is hiding in plain sight. Not cartoonish, not highlighted, and definitely not easy to find. This optical illusion was shared under 'Find the Sniper' subreddit. The star of this optical illusion is a snake, believed to be a pit viper, possibly even a copperhead, but that's still up for debate. What makes this challenge next-level difficult is that the snake isn't slithering in the open. It's completely blending into the scene with such perfection that it almost disappears. It's nature's way of pulling off a Photoshop-level disguise without any filters. Image credit: 'Find the Sniper' subreddit The photo features a simple setup: a pipe, a window, and a few mechanical devices. But somewhere within this, the snake is lying still, completely undetectable unless someone really zooms in, both with the eyes and the brain. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Adam Lambert, 43, Takes off His Makeup and Leaves Us Without Words The Noodle Box Undo Here's where the fun begins. People around the internet are racing against the clock to spot the snake in just 10 seconds. Some sharp-eyed folks, especially animal lovers who are naturally tuned in to animal patterns and movement, claim they found it quickly. Others? Let's just say they kept staring for minutes, growing more frustrated with every second. Why 10 seconds? Because that's about how long it would take for someone who truly connects with the animal kingdom to sense the odd shape, the unique texture, or the unexpected curve in the scene. But it's not easy, the snake's black body is blending in almost too perfectly. Alright, if you're still reading and haven't spotted it yet, here's a clue to help. Focus your attention on the black pipe under the window. Notice how it runs between two mechanical-looking boxes? Somewhere in that section, there's something that's not quite 'pipe.' The snake is lying alongside it, almost exactly the same shade, black on black. That's what makes it so tricky. Your eyes might skip right over it, thinking it's part of the equipment. But it's not. Look again. Now you might wonder, why would an animal lover be more likely to spot it quickly? It's all about instinct and experience. Those who spend time with animals, whether in the wild or at home, tend to develop an eye for movement, texture, and subtle patterns in nature. They notice what others miss. That little curve that doesn't belong. That faint line that breaks the symmetry. That's what gives them an advantage in illusions like these.

Anupam Kher breaks silence on Saiyaara dominating Tanvi The Great at box office: 'Agar paisa hi sab kuch hota...'

Comparisons and competition are unavoidable when two movies are released at roughly the same time. That's precisely what happened when Mohit Suri 's elegant romantic drama Saiyaara and Anupam Kher 's touching drama Tanvi The Great opened in theaters on the same day. Tanvi The Great failed to achieve the same level of commercial success as the latter, which dominated the box office with over Rs 500 crore and captured the hearts of the public with its music and youthful star cast. However, it isn't keeping Anupam Kher up at night. He believes that movies are about feelings rather than profits. When asked if he believes the Saiyaara craze is to blame for his film's poor performance, the veteran actor responded, "I don't believe that's true," in an interview with News18. 'A few years down the line, when someone will ask you what are your five favorite films are, you won't name the ones based on which of these movies made a business worth crores." The actor continued, "You'll name the ones which touched your hearts." 'Maybe Tanvi the Great didn't mint much money, but it is still priceless. I recently met a lady outside the theater who hugged me tightly and started crying, saying this was the best film she has ever watched," Kher added. Kher's remarks provided a much-needed break in a society that is fixated on numbers. 'You don't value everything based only on money. Agar paisa hi sab kuch hota, to phir log hamesha five-star hotel me hi khate na, dhaba koi kyu jata?" He revealed that he firmly supports his film in spite of the poor collections. 'My film is outstanding commercially," he stated. Tanvi The Great is subtly capturing hearts, while Saiyaara continues to rule the screen thanks to its box office power and Gen-Z appeal. Anupam Kher is the film's producer and director. He co-stars with Iain Glen. On July 18, 2025, Tanvi the Great was released in theaters.
