The actor, who played the avenger across the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Disney+ miniseries has revealed he was offered half of his first-season salary to continue playing Clint Barton. "They asked me to do Season 2, and they offered me half the money. I'm like, Well, it's going to take me twice the amount of work for half the amount of money, and eight months of my time, essentially, to do it for half the amount,". He went on to suggest that his salary may have been slashed in half due to his near-fatal snowplough accident in 2023.

Oscar Isaac would return to Star Wars as Poe Dameron

Oscar Isaac would reprise his role as Poe Dameron for the right Star Wars project. The 46-year-old actor played the Resistance X-wing pilot in Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy, first being introduced to a galaxy far, far away in 2015's The Force Awakens. Oscar is proud to have played Poe and be part of the iconic sci-fi series and he would be open to a return to that franchise if there was a film or TV series that appealed to him. When asked by Variety if he would return as Poe, he answered: "Yeah, I'd be a Star Wars again if there was something good to do with that.' Daisy Ridely is returning as Jedi Rey for a new movie which is a continuation of the Star Wars timeline which Poe is part of. Isaac can next be seen in Guillermo del Toro's new Frankenstein film for Netflix, which is based on Mary Shelley's 1818 Gothic novel of the same name. He plays Dr. Victor Frankenstein, the scientist who creates a living creature from multiple human body parts, and Oscar admits his interpretation of the character is partly inspired by late Purple Rain singer Prince, in terms of how he moves. He said: "I saw him much more as an artist than as a scientist. I watched a video of Prince going to the Super Bowl in order to rehearse. And I just basically stole his walk when he's going up to the stage with his hands behind the back.' Isaac was Guillermo's first choice to play Dr. Victor Frankenstein opposite Jacob Elordi as Frankenstein's monster and he can recall being emotionally moved by the filmmaker's script for his version of the famous story. The pair first met over lunch and The Shape of the Water filmmaker Guillermo told his leading man he was "making a feast". That meeting was followed a year later when del Toro presented Isaac with a script and as the actor got to the last page the pair "were just crying". Isaac said: "There's just so much pain there.'

Orlando Bloom wants 'everybody' back in Pirates of the Caribbean

Orlando Bloom would love to see "everybody" back for another Pirates of the Caribbean film. Disney film franchise's producer Jerry Bruckheimer, 81, recently revealed he has talked to Johnny Depp, 62, about reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow as work gets underway on the screenplay for a sixth film. And, Bloom has said he'd love to return as Will Turner if the rest of the cast - which also included Keira Knightley, 40, as Elizabeth Swann - agreed to reprise their roles and the script is right. As quoted by Entertainment Weekly, Bloom said at Fan Expo Chicago: 'Everything is in the writing, right? Everything is on the page, and I think there's definitely, I'm sure there's a way to create something. 'I would personally love to see everybody back. I think the way to win on that one is to get everybody back. If they can, and if everybody wanted to go back.' He continued: 'My thing is, if the script was great and — ideally it was everybody — it'd be kind of like in for a penny, in for a pound, you know." Sharing his thoughts on the reboot, the 48-year-old star said: 'What they're thinking…is how to do it. 'Do you bring in a female leading character that replicates Jack in some way? I don't know. The jury is out on how to do it again.' What may throw a spanner in the works is the fact Knightley is against the idea of being part of a franchise again. She told The Times in November: 'The hours are insane. It's years of your life, you have no control over where you're filming, how long you're filming, what you're filming." Bruckheimer recently told Entertainment Weekly Depp, like Bloom, is all about the script He said: 'If he likes the way the part's written, I think he would do it. "It's all about what's on the page, as we all know… we are still working on a screenplay. We want to make it. We just got to get the right screenplay. We haven't quite gotten there yet, but we're close." The fifth movie in the franchise, 2017's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, saw Depp return along with Geoffrey Rush (Hector Barbossa), 74, Bloom, and Keira Knightley, 40. The following year, Disney cut ties with Depp, which he claimed was over an article his ex-wife, Amber Heard, 39, wrote - but did not mention Depp by name - in the Washington Post in 2018, which his lawyers say falsely implies he physically and sexually abused her while they were together. Depp sued Heard for her op-ed, and the jury ultimately ruled that Heard's piece, which had references to "sexual violence" and "domestic abuse", were false and defamed Depp with actual malice. While a sixth movie would be a reboot of the franchise, Bruckheimer would still like to see Jack Sparrow make an appearance. He previously told Entertainment Weekly: "It's a reboot, but if it was up to me, he would be in it. I love him. He's a good friend. He's an amazing artist, and he's a unique look. He created Captain Jack. That was not on the page; that was him doing a little Pepé Le Pew and Keith Richards. That was his interpretation of Jack Sparrow." He also revealed that Jeff Nathanson, 59, who wrote Dead Men Tell No Tales, was working on the sixth film. He said: "I think he's cracked it. He's got an amazing third act. "We just gotta clean up the first and second, and then we'll get there. But he wrote a great, great third act."

Details of Lilo and Stitch star David H.K. Bell's death revealed in autopsy report

David H.K. Bell suffered with four "pathological diagnoses" at the time of his death, according to his autopsy report. The Lilo and Stitch actor - who was credited as Big Hawaiian Dude in the 2025 live-action remake of the 2002 Disney movie - died on June 12 in Hawaii aged 46, and now new details around the late star's tragic passing. As reported by PEOPLE magazine, Bell's autopsy report listed acute respiratory failure, sepsis, hypertensive/atherosclerotic heart disease, and morbid obesity, among its findings. Atherosclerosis is caused by fats, cholesterol and other substances building up in or on the artery walls, and it leads to the narrowing of the arteries, which blocks blood flow or burst, causing a blood clot. Elsewhere in the autopsy - carried out at Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua, Hawaii, on June 19 and completed on July 10 - the report found Bell also suffered from stasis dermatitis and edema. Stasis dermatitis is a skin condition that causes an individual's lower legs to become swollen or inflamed due to poor blood circulation in the legs. Edema is a condition that causes swelling in a person's body because fluid is trapped in tissues, often in someone's feet, ankles and legs. The autopsy report revealed Bell "complained of difficulty breathing" before his death. Medical intervention efforts, as well as resuscitation attempts, took place. And the exam also discovered Bell had defibrillator (AED) pads on his chest, an airway in his mouth, a blood pressure cuff on his right upper arm, and IV line in his left arm. Bell also had an intraosseous needle in his lower left leg. The outlet noted that the exam is a "coroner's case" and that it does not give a cause or manner of death. The actor's sister, Jalene Kanani Bell, confirmed his death in a Facebook post on June 15. She wrote: "It is with a heavy heart I share that my sweet, generous, talented, funny, brilliant and handsome little brother David H. K. Bell will spend today in the company of our Heavenly Father. "I've been waiting for the words and mindset to properly express the joy of a human, and Prince of a Man he was, but fate pushed my hand this morning by a pre-scheduled Father's Day newsletter honoring the men in our lives. "I met my little brother at the age of 18, on my high school graduation day, it was the most amazing surprise which I had been asking for for years, that our mom's made happen for us, and that gift has lasted a lifetime. "While I didn't grow up with a Father, David gave me all the unconditional love I could possibly ask for and I believe that all his family and friends received the same from him. "He was always so proud of me, his nieces and his grandnephew, constantly engaged and always coming up with fun activities to get-together. We looked forward to going to Tatihi and the Lindsey reunion together to create more family connections. (sic)"
