Emmerdale to air 'emotional' scenes as Robert and Aaron reunion sparks discovery
Emmerdale fans will learn some truths next week as a special episode sees Robert Sugden reunited with Aaron Dingle in emotional scenes, as well as tension with John
Viewers of Emmerdale, especially Robron fans, may finally get some answers next week amid Robert Sugden's abrupt return.
In "emotional" scenes the character is reunited with his ex Aaron Dingle, six years after he left the village and just weeks after he failed to stop Aaron from marrying John Sugden. An episode next week featuring just a few cast members could see truths come to light, with fans set to see moments they've been waiting for for six long years - some scenes our Mirror soap insider revealed would be "exactly what Robron fans have wanted for so long".
Robert left the soap in 2019 after being sent to prison, and only recently actor Ryan Hawley reprised the role and confirmed a permanent return. New spoilers for next week have confirmed that after a week or so away Robert was back on screen.
Not only that but there's moving scenes with Aaron at the prison as well as drama with John, before Robert heads back to the village. Just months after his exit Robert had called for a divorce and cut Aaron and even his sister Victoria Sugden out of his life.
So we have absolutely no idea what life has been like for Robert in prison, and what's gone on in that time. It's been teased he could be harbouring secrets and a story about those six years he was offscreen for.
Emmerdale star lets slip who saves Tracy as John's fate exposed in killer twist
Some of these things could well come out next week, as Ryan has promised viewers will learn a thing or two. With Ryan hinting at tense and dark scenes with John and then tear-jerking scenes with Robert and Aaron, he promised "big" moments ahead.
Aaron initially doesn't want to visit Robert in prison, and when he does he's left torn over secretly meeting with him behind John's back. There's soon a declaration of love, before a sad decision is made.
Our soap insider teased: "It's the moment Robron fans have waited for for so long. Robert and Aaron back onscreen together, and giving us hope that a reconciliation could be on the cards.
"Robert wastes no time in telling Aaron he loves him, which leaves Aaron torn but also confused given Robert brutally ended things all those years ago. Aaron is keen to avoid any drama though, and devastates Robert with his decision that John is the man for him. But is he being true to his feelings?"
It seems there's some emotional moments as the exes talk things through, with plenty of things to be revealed in the scenes that fans will just have to watch and find out. It's safe to say John isn't happy when he finds out though, and soon battle lines are drawn for the warring brothers.
"John fears he's losing Aaron to Robert, and he's not prepared to let it happen," shared our insider. "As Robert vows to return to the village where John has now set up a life with Aaron and Victoria, tensions simmer and some nasty jibes are made - not to mention a sinister threat that could see Robert edge closer to the truth about his criminal ways."
As Robert makes his unwelcome return to the village, as far as Aaron and John are concerned, there's soon hints that Robert may need time to settle back in. "Victoria is worried about how Robert is coping after his six years locked up, and she urges him to face up to his trauma if he stands a chance of staying on the right track," teased our source.

Danny Jones' wife makes first post including him since Maura Higgins kiss
Georgia has shared Danny on her social media for the first time since the scandal. Danny Jones' wife Georgia shared a tribute to her husband for the first time since he was pictured kissing Love Island star Maura Higgin. The 38-year-old, who shares seven-year-old son Cooper with McFly star Danny, 39, shared a sweet post to him on Instagram to mark Father's Day. After she posted a snap of her own dad, she then went on to post a cute photo of Cooper cuddling into his dad. She sweetly captioned the post: "For the Dads. Happy Father's Day." Georgia's post is the first that he's appeared on her social media page since he was papped kissing his I'm A Celebrity co-star Maura at a Brits after party back in March. Danny, who has been married to Georgia for over a decade, issued a grovelling public apology after the drunken smooch. In a statement on his Instagram Story, he said: "Hello everyone, sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately." He added to fans: "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny." Following the BRITs scandal, apparently, Georgia temporarily moved out of their family home. Insiders claimed that the whole situation was "embarrassing" for the mother-of-one, who married Danny back in 2014. Shortly after the kiss, a source claimed that while "they may still be married, they are not together and she is still working out what she wants to do." However, it's now believed Georgia is back in the family home in West London and has returned to host her podcast, Mum's The Word! with friend Kelsey Parker. A source told the Mirror in April: "Georgia is returning to face the music after weeks away. She took some time for herself after the incident blew up but now she's ready to talk." "This wasn't some grand gesture where she suddenly packed her bags and left. It was just a girlie few nights at a close pal's flat. Yes, she wanted some space, but she is home now, and while things are still fragile, they are trying to work things through," a separate source confirmed. Danny is said to be eager to work through things and get his marriage with Georgia back on track. "He has made it clear he will do anything to make it work. He loves Georgia and wants their marriage to get back on track," a source told The Sun. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!

Soccer Aid's Harry Kewell is married to Emmerdale star who embarrassed him on TV The Australian football icon is making his Soccer Aid debut at Old Trafford this weekend Kewell met his wife Sheree in a Leeds nightclub in 2000 Soccer Aid is back for another year with a host of famous faces teaming up with some of football's biggest names to play a huge charity match and raise money for UNICEF. As ever, an England team will go head to head with a World XI in order to lift the trophy, which the Three Lions side claimed last year for the first time in eight years. Led by co-managers Wayne Rooney and Tyson Fury, they will look to retain their title at Old Trafford on Sunday night, with the likes of Gary Neville, Louis Tomlinson and Dame Denise Lewis among those taking part. The World XI team is also stacked with a host of football icons, with Carlos Tevez, Edwin van der Sar and Leonardo Bonucci among the former professionals involved. Representing Australia in the squad is Harry Kewell, with the former Wallabies winger making his Soccer Aid debut at this year's event. The 46-year-old is somewhat of a Premier League icon, having spent 12 years playing in the top flight of English football for both Leeds United and Liverpool, before seeing out the rest of his career with stints in Turkey, Qatar and his homeland of Australia. To date, he remains the only Australian man to have ever played in the Champions League final, while he won 58 caps for his country and represented them at two FIFA World Cups. Article continues below While his career has taken him all around the world - with his latest managerial stint seeing him take charge of Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos - Kewell will forever be linked to the UK having married one of the country's most popular soap stars while playing in the English top flight. The 2005 Champions League winner - who has also managed the likes of Crawley Town, Notts County, Oldham Athletic and Barnet since retiring in 2014 - has been married to former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Sheree Murphy for 23 years. The couple got together while Kewell was at the top of his game at Leeds, having met in the city's Majestyk nightclub in 2000. Kewell then married Murphy - who has also starred in Neighbours and Only Fools and Horses as well as being a recurring panelist on Loose Women - in a ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2002. The famous pair have gone on to have four children together, with their son Taylor born in 2001 before they also welcomed daughters Ruby, Matilda and Dolly. Murphy has spoken openly about her relationship with the former footballer, telling the Loose Women panel that she is not afraid to make her feelings known if female fans try and flirt with her husband. "I'll say 'hello I'm the wife' if they go too far!," she said. "Harry just starts sweating, he gets quite nervous!" She also famously embarrassed her husband during her time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2005 as she told campmates that Kewell "had a peachy bum", leaving viewers in stitches. With the Wallabies star still playing for Liverpool at the time, the remark led to him - quite literally - being the butt of the joke, and Murphy - who finished runner-up on the show - was left groaning as she was put on the spot about the comment after leaving the famous jungle. Article continues below "Oh God, I can't even remember saying that," she told the Liverpool Echo. "But apparently on the telly they're still saying 'a brilliant goal by peachy bum!' "Harry was like 'will people never stop?'. But, actually, he's been fine about it and I think he was so glad to have me home he didn't care. "At least I was saying something nice," she added. "I wasn't saying it was fat or anything!"

After the series, the pair quickly announced they were 'in love', reports the Mirror. Katie and Peter tied the knot in a grand £2 million wedding in Hampshire in 2005 and welcomed two children, Junior and Princess, now aged 20 and 17. However, their marriage unravelled, leading to a divorce in 2009. But what became of Scott Sullivan, once known for dating glamour models? We delve into his current life, which remains as glamorous as ever since we last heard from him. Scott is now believed to be in his late 30s and has established himself as a successful entrepreneur, owning private jet charter firm Shy Aviation and luxury travel company Shy Lifestyle, an exclusive invitation-only service catering to high-profile clients such as Ed Westwick. After being linked to glamour models Jodie Marsh and Bianca Gascoigne, Scott dated former Made In Chelsea star Caggie Dunlop before eventually finding love with Funda Onal, also a former love interest of Spencer Matthews from MIC. Funda and Scott tied the knot in 2017, with Funda, now 40, announcing her pregnancy a year later. The couple shared a heartfelt photo of Scott kissing her baby bump, captioned "A new family is born." Funda, a talented model, actor, and dancer, has worked with notable brands including Nike and Adidas and has appeared in music videos by Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah. She is now likely to be a mother of two daughters, aged around seven and three, based on her social media updates from 2022. However, the current status of Scott and Funda's relationship remains unclear, with no recent pictures of Scott on her Instagram and vice versa. Meanwhile, Scott, who has posted only one photo of a young girl on his social media in 2020, seems to have moved on and is preparing to welcome another child with his new partner. Tagging a lady known as Katherine Scott, who has been making appearances on his social media of late, he posted a monochrome photo gazing at her blossoming bump. On the snap from 31 May, he wrote: "A new Soul among us." Katherine seems to be his significant other, as one follower responded with warm wishes saying: "Such a stunning couple, inside and out." (Image: Instagram) (Image: Instagram) (Image: PA) (Image: RICHARD YOUNG/REX/Shutterstock) Another chimed in, "Beyond happy for you both," while a third shared their feelings: "This gave me chills, so much love in one photo," and a fourth enthused: "A powerful soul it is. Congratulations brother x." Katherine's beau has also flaunted his penchant for autos and adrenaline-fueled hobbies like skiing, rock climbing and wakeboarding on his profile. He's quite the enthusiast of Jiu Jitsu too, often sharing photos from his grappling practice with mates.
