Emmerdale: Robert and Aaron make amends, Steph exit sealed and Charity's heartache

Emmerdale spoilers for next week teased Robron could get closer, Vanity also share scenes as Charity Dingle faces 'disaster' and Steph Miligan's exit is teased on the ITV soap There's big moments ahead on Emmerdale next week, and some spoilers fans will be excited about. ‌ Robron fans will see former couple Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle grow closer again as they clear the air after past turmoil. Vanity fans will see more scenes for Charity Dingle and her ex Vanessa Woodfield, as the former confides in her friend as "disaster" strikes. ‌ There's concern amid a surrogacy plot, while a teen is clearly hiding something in a big secret. A villain takes action, another villager harbouring their true feelings is left torn and an exit is teased for one resident who is temporarily departing the ITV soap soon. ‌ Let's kick things off with Robron, as Robert is struggling to cope and considers leaving the village for good. It's Robert's sibling John Sugden, who happens to be Aaron's new husband, who persuades Aaron to go easy on his ex. There's an uncomfortable encounter at the shop, as John and Robert seem to clash again - or perhaps this time it's Aaron and Robert. Either way, John leaves and Robert attempts to clear the air with Aaron over a coffee. ‌ It's then that Robert hints he may be leaving and Aaron is surprised, while it's also clear he doesn't want that to happen. He does his best to reassure Robert and tries to get him to stick around. Telling him he's valued, he gives Robert hope as he tries to talk him round - but is Robert hoping for a reconciliation once more? Later on in the week it seems there's more trouble ahead, when Moira Dingle confronts him about her land that she recently sold to him. So has Moira uncovered the betrayal about Robert plotting to sell to Kim before he later changed his mind? It's Robert's sister Victoria Sugden who is left suspicious though, when Robert suggests they farm Annie's field together. ‌ What will she say, and will Robert stick around? Elsewhere, Charity Dingle fears the worst when she suffers a fall amid her offering to be a surrogate to her granddaughter Sarah Sugden. In upcoming episodes a procedure goes well at the fertility clinic, but next week Charity falls in the woods. She tries to convince herself that everything will be fine, and when Sarah comes home she doesn't tell her about the fall. ‌ But later as the family gather for an engagement party for Sarah and her partner Jacob Gallagher, Charity sneaks off and rushes to the toilet. As her ex Vanessa spots her outside, a concerned Charity reveals to her that she's been bleeding. Fearing the worst after the procedure, will Charity tell Sarah what's happened? We could be headed for an exit next week too as Steph's departure storyline may have been teased. Actress Georgia Jay is currently on maternity leave, and so will be having a break from filming. Next week Steph and Ross Barton give their relationship another go, after some encouragement from their loved ones. ‌ As they get closer, they officially reunite and Ross denies being with anyone else since they broke up - hiding the fact he slept with Manpreet Sharma. But when Manpreet is probed about her love life by Steph's mother Ruby later in the week, will she find out about the fling? Also next week, Dylan is in a bad way a week on from being stabbed with a pitchfork at Moira's farm. His pal April Windsor finds him in need of urgent medical attention and sneaks him into the vet surgery. Paddy Kirk stumbles across then though who patches Dylan up before offering him a room for the night. Soon villain Ray is catching up with Dylan as more about their connection is revealed onscreen. ‌ Dylan reveals a hidden bag of drugs from his backpack, while ignoring Ray's messages. Dylan is soon sneaking off for drug drop-offs, while back in the village some of the residents realise Dylan was the one intruding at the farm. When Ray eventually tracks down Dylan, Dylan turns down a job leading to the villain claiming to be cool with it - but we soon see him watching Dylan and April from a far. So what does he have planned? ‌ Finally next week, Vinny Dingle is struggling after recently trying to kiss his pal Kammy amid his wedding plans with fiancée Gabby Thomas. As he continues to question his sexuality and his true self, he does his best to bury his doubts. Aaron mistakes his pal's woes though for wedding doubts, so Vinny admits he tried to kiss someone else. Aaron urges him not to tell Gabby but Vinny is conflicted, and soon looks for answers about his sexuality - but will he find what he is looking for? Emmerdale to air 'emotional' scenes as Robert and Aaron reunion sparks discovery

Emmerdale fans will learn some truths next week as a special episode sees Robert Sugden reunited with Aaron Dingle in emotional scenes, as well as tension with John Viewers of Emmerdale, especially Robron fans, may finally get some answers next week amid Robert Sugden's abrupt return. In "emotional" scenes the character is reunited with his ex Aaron Dingle, six years after he left the village and just weeks after he failed to stop Aaron from marrying John Sugden. An episode next week featuring just a few cast members could see truths come to light, with fans set to see moments they've been waiting for for six long years - some scenes our Mirror soap insider revealed would be "exactly what Robron fans have wanted for so long". ‌ Robert left the soap in 2019 after being sent to prison, and only recently actor Ryan Hawley reprised the role and confirmed a permanent return. New spoilers for next week have confirmed that after a week or so away Robert was back on screen. ‌ Not only that but there's moving scenes with Aaron at the prison as well as drama with John, before Robert heads back to the village. Just months after his exit Robert had called for a divorce and cut Aaron and even his sister Victoria Sugden out of his life. So we have absolutely no idea what life has been like for Robert in prison, and what's gone on in that time. It's been teased he could be harbouring secrets and a story about those six years he was offscreen for. Emmerdale star lets slip who saves Tracy as John's fate exposed in killer twist Some of these things could well come out next week, as Ryan has promised viewers will learn a thing or two. With Ryan hinting at tense and dark scenes with John and then tear-jerking scenes with Robert and Aaron, he promised "big" moments ahead. Aaron initially doesn't want to visit Robert in prison, and when he does he's left torn over secretly meeting with him behind John's back. There's soon a declaration of love, before a sad decision is made. Our soap insider teased: "It's the moment Robron fans have waited for for so long. Robert and Aaron back onscreen together, and giving us hope that a reconciliation could be on the cards. ‌ "Robert wastes no time in telling Aaron he loves him, which leaves Aaron torn but also confused given Robert brutally ended things all those years ago. Aaron is keen to avoid any drama though, and devastates Robert with his decision that John is the man for him. But is he being true to his feelings?" It seems there's some emotional moments as the exes talk things through, with plenty of things to be revealed in the scenes that fans will just have to watch and find out. It's safe to say John isn't happy when he finds out though, and soon battle lines are drawn for the warring brothers. "John fears he's losing Aaron to Robert, and he's not prepared to let it happen," shared our insider. "As Robert vows to return to the village where John has now set up a life with Aaron and Victoria, tensions simmer and some nasty jibes are made - not to mention a sinister threat that could see Robert edge closer to the truth about his criminal ways." As Robert makes his unwelcome return to the village, as far as Aaron and John are concerned, there's soon hints that Robert may need time to settle back in. "Victoria is worried about how Robert is coping after his six years locked up, and she urges him to face up to his trauma if he stands a chance of staying on the right track," teased our source.

Emmerdale spoilers - Robert Sugden returns, Bear goes missing and cancer news

Emmerdale spoilers for next week have confirmed new twists ahead on the ITV soap, as Robert Sugden is back again leading to drama with John, while there's also a disappearance Viewers can expect a lot of trouble ahead on Emmerdale, as well as sad discoveries and big news. There's Robert Sugden's full-time return to the village next week, leading to drama with love rival and brother John Sugden. There's also some "emotional" prison scenes prior to his comeback, and it's also set to get very tense. Elsewhere a character suffers an angry outburst before going missing, leaving his loved ones concerned amid a new mystery plot. A character's cancer diagnosis is exposed to a family member, paving the way for upsetting scenes. There's villagers at war aplenty too, in what will no doubt be a dramatic week of episode. Kicking things off, Ryan Hawley's character heads back to the village for good next week, and it could lead to drama. Aaron Dingle will have a big decision to make as he visits his ex in prison, weeks on from marrying Robert's brother John. There's emotional moments as the pair open up to one another, just as there's concern for Robert as he's left in a state in prison. As the pair reunite, amid Robron fans hoping they will give their romance another go after six years apart, Robert wastes no time in sharing how much he loves Aaron. He speaks for the viewers too as he tells Aaron that mysterious John is not the man for him. Aaron is in turmoil over the chat, but remains adamant he made the right decision by marrying John. It's not long before controlling John finds out where his husband has been though and he heads to the prison himself. Soon tense scenes see feuds boiling over as Robert exposes his recent kiss with Aaron. With that, a rivalry explodes with John prepared to get answers but also issuing his sibling with a sinister warning, making it clear he doesn't know what he's capable of. But killer John may have met his match as Robert knows he's hiding something and is determined to find out what it is. Robert vows to return to the village, and soon he shows up leaving Aaron and John furious - but where will this lead? Also next week the beginning of Bear's mystery plot kicks off with him set to return "a different person" according to bosses. Bear vanishes next week after an outburst, with it revealed he could be gone for weeks if not months. As Bear leaves his motorbike parts strewn across the place, issues at home with his son Paddy and Paddy's wife Mandy continue to heat up. As Cain agrees to let him fix his motorbike there he feigns joy, but when alone he erupts into a fury at the bike with it clear something isn't right. Bear snaps and even threatens Kammy, leaving Paddy concerned and in despair. He's dumbfounded though, as is Mandy, when Bear returns later on as if nothing has happened. Soon, Bear becomes irritated by their questioning and heads away upstairs, leaving Paddy and Mandy to fear things are getting worse. But just as they agree to confront Bear, they are stunned to find him and his bike are gone. Also next week, Charity Dingle finds out her granddaughter Sarah Sugden as the early stages of cervical cancer. Sarah has been keeping the news from her family amid her plan to continue with IVF. There's drama between sisters Vanessa Woodfield and Tracy Robinson too, while Kammy is left frustrates as pal Vinny Dingle gives him the cold shoulder. A final spoiler takes us back to Robert, as it's hinted he's facing trauma from his time in prison that threatens to land him in trouble.

Emmerdale's big Robert Sugden return falls flat as ratings are revealed – and it's bad news for the soap

EMMERDALE'S big return for Robert Sugden failed to impress fans - with ratings DROPPING from the previous night. The ITV soap's big comeback for actor Ryan Hawley six years was hoped to bring in a major ratings boost for the cash-strapped channel. 2 2 However that failed to materialise with his return actually seeing viewers switch off. In fact the episode broadcast the evening before his comeback pulled in just over 3.1m viewers. By Wednesday, the day of Robert's big return - and despite ITV axing the episode from its streaming service ITVX in an effort to get people to watch the TV broadcast - just over 3m tuned in with the show losing viewers. Worst still - the next night that continued Robert's return saw a further 600,000 viewers switch off. In contrast the first edition after Robert was returned to prison, the following Monday's episode rebounded to 3.1m. A source said: 'It's not ideal for such a big moment to not pull in the numbers. 'Bosses expected a great deal of excitement from fans about Robert's return but it doesn't seem to have transferred into actual ratings. 'The so-called Robron coupling was seen as a previous heyday for the show to tap into - but the reality appears to be quite different. 'With all the cuts ITV is having to make, people will be wondering if his return is worth it.' Actor Ryan, who quit the show in 2019, recently revealed he had been struggling for work during his six year absence from the show. It even led him to move to Brazil with his wife Daisy Prestes de Oliveira and their children for a life away from the spotlight. 'I've got to do things like All Creatures Great and Small, Miss Scarlet, Casualty and Silent Witness,' he told the Mirror. 'I wasn't as busy as I would have liked, but that meant I got to be around my kids a lot, so I was very lucky.' The ITV soaps both with Emmerdale winning just two awards and Coronation Street on compared to EastEnders' eight and Hollyoaks ' three.
