Shikhar Pahariya comforts Janhvi Kapoor as she arrives to pay last respects to grandmother Nirmal Kapoor
Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor's mother Nirmal Kapoor died on May 2. She was 90. As per news agency ANI, she died in Mumbai. Several members of the Kapoor family were spotted arriving outside Boney's Mumbai residence on Friday afternoon after the news of Nirmal's death surfaced. In videos taken by paparazzi accounts, Janhvi Kapoor was seen outside the premises. She was busy on her phone texting someone, as she kept on interacting with Shikhar Pahariya by her side. Shikhar was spotted in an arm rest, possibly because of an injury on his left hand. The two were seen talking right outside the main door of the house. Several other members and close friends of the Kapoor family were seen arriving too. Boney Kapoor was also seen outside the main entrance as he talked with a few other people briefly.

Anil celebrated his mother's 90th birthday last year in September. He took to his X account to share a series of happy family pictures with everyone. In the caption, he wrote, '90 years of love, strength, and endless sacrifices. Your presence fills our lives with joy and positivity every day. Blessed to be your child. Happy birthday, Mummy! ❤️'
Nirmal was the wife of the late film producer Surinder Kapoor and mother to four children, Boney, Anil, Sanjay and Reena Kapoor Marwah.
On the work front, Janhvi will soon be seen in Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound. The film will have its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival at the Un Certain Regard section in May. Janhvi is expected to attend the premiere along with the cast of the film, which inlcludes Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa.
Fans will see Janhvi alongside Ram Charan in his much-anticipated 16th film, now titled Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi also stars Shiva Raj Kumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu in prominent roles. Peddi is bankrolled by the director Sukumar's home banner, Sukumar Writings, while the music is composed by Oscar winner musician AR Rahman.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre has opened up about her evolving relationship with superstar Salman Khan, admitting that she didn't quite like him when they first shared screen space in the 1999 family blockbuster Hum Saath-Saath Hain. Her opinion changed years later, she said, after the actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. 'I grew to like Salman later. I mean, it was a process. At the time of Hum Saath-Saath Hain, I don't think we were... let me put it mildly. We were not best of friends,' Sonali said in an interview with news agency ANI. She added, "There are two sides to Salman. You can either love him or you will hate him. And at that point of time, I was not fond of him." Sonali Bendre shared how Salman's behaviour on set would often annoy her during filming. The actress said, "When I was doing Hum Saath-Saath Hain. I mean, I have had my close-ups that we are doing when he's standing behind the camera and making faces at me." "That was Salman. He's a prankster. He's like a child. But at that point of time, I was most offended that what is this behaviour? And, you know, like, I don't want... I'm not even going to talk to you, this behaviour...," she added. Sonali Bendre's opinion of Salman Khan shifted dramatically after he showed her unwavering support during her health battle. In 2018, the actress was diagnosed with stage four metastatic cancer and underwent treatment in New York. During this time, Salman took the initiative to speak with her husband, Goldie Behl. The actor even flew to New York twice and was actively involved in ensuring she was receiving the best medical care. Sonali said, "And, you know, suddenly, I mean, the same person who's making faces behind the camera is the same person who has made two trips, maybe to New York where I'm there to see if I'm okay in my illness and for the fact that he would call up and check with my husband, and say, are you sure you've got the right doctors? I think you should get in touch with these doctors also." "He suddenly turned into something like an elder person in the fraternity who was saying, are you sure you've touched all the bases? You've checked all the boxes, you've ticked them all. It showed me how sensitive and caring he is. It really changed how I looked at him,' the actress added. Sonali Bendre, who was declared cancer-free in 2021, has since used her public platform to spread awareness about cancer and resilience. Jared Leto faces sexual misconduct allegations from multiple women
Washington [US], June 8 (ANI): Jared Leto, the Oscar-winning actor and frontman of the rock band 'Thirty Seconds to Mars', is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple women, some of whom claim they were underage when the incidents occurred. As per reports obtained by People magazine, in an interview, nine women described troubling interactions with the 53-year-old actor. The accounts span over a decade and outline what some allege to be a long-standing pattern of predatory behaviour. Among the accusations, women claim Leto exposed himself, asked sexually explicit questions, and initiated inappropriate contact, sometimes when they were just teenagers. One woman told in the interview, "It's been an open secret for a long time," referring to Leto's alleged behaviour, as quoted by People magazine. According to People magazine, a representative for Leto "expressly denied all allegations" in a statement to the publication in response. One accuser, model Laura La Rue, said she first met Leto at an animal rights event in 2008 when she was 16. After maintaining email contact, she visited his studio in 2009 and alleged that he flirted with her and once emerged naked from a room, as if it were completely ordinary behaviour. "I thought maybe this was just what adult men do," she reflected, as quoted by People magazine. While a representative for Leto claims there was "nothing sexual or inappropriate" in their exchanges and that La Rue even applied to be his assistant, a claim she denies, La Rue insists her experiences were unsettling. Another woman recounted meeting Leto when she was 16 at a cafe in Los Angeles. She alleged that he called her at night, using what she described as a disturbing and sexually charged tone. "He changed his voice, the way he talked. It scared me," she said, adding that he asked invasive questions about her sexual experience. Her mother reportedly overheard the conversations and corroborated her account to the outlet, as per People magazine. Several women allege similar behaviour, including one who claims that during a visit to Leto's home when she was 18, he exposed himself and began masturbating. One woman who attended a party at Leto's home in the early 2000s said she was 18 at the time and observed what she believed was a deliberate effort to encourage young women to skinny dip. "I was definitely not the youngest person there," she said, as quoted by People magazine. A representative for Leto dismissed the allegation, asserting that "there was never any recruiting, complaints or impropriety." Brent Bolthouse, a nightlife promoter who organised events at Leto's residence, said he "never saw anyone skinny-dipping." The allegations gained renewed attention last month when DJ Allie Teilz referenced her own experience on social media, saying she was "assaulted and traumatised by this creep when I was 17," as quoted by People magazine. Leto's team has labelled her accusation as "demonstrably false." As per People magazine, no criminal charges have been filed as of now. (ANI)
