Jake Paul dramatically storms off Piers Morgan interview after live TV row

Jake Paul branded Piers Morgan a 'fat a**' before storming out of his Uncensored show.
The YouTube star turned boxer was on the outspoken presenter's show to promote his upcoming fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday.
However, tensions rose between the pair when Piers started to question his guest's resume as a boxer despite an 11-1 record as a pro.
'The only proper boxer you've fought was Tommy Fury and he beat you,' he argued.
'Peak [Mike] Tyson you wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds… Canelo Alvarez says he would potentially kill you!' Jake fired back: 'YouTube this, YouTube that, Disney that. This s*** is not a joke.
'I'm knocking out the best of the best. You vs. going to the gym… you're still a fat a**.'
Later in the interview, the 28-year-old star – whose brother is WWE star and Prime Energy boss Logan Paul – took another shot at the interviewer.
He said: 'I think the problem here, Piers, is that you think that your opinion matters.'
Piers asked why he'd bothered to come on the show then, and Jake insisted: 'I'm just taking your audience to sell Pay-Per-Views. I don't give a f*** about your show.
'You dumba**. This is a f***ing business enterprise. Buy the Pay-Per-View on Saturday, June 28 – me vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Thank you, tune in everybody.'
With that, the former YouTuber ended the Zoom call, but thankfully Piers appeared to take it in good humour.
'Cheers Jake, really enjoyed that,' he laughed. 'And good luck to Julio. Knock him out for all of us, will you?'
At the beginning of the interview, things had appeared civil and jovial between the pair.
Jake appeared in a giant sombrero, and shrugged off the idea he could be guilty of cultural appropriation.
'I'm the greatest Mexican fighter of all time, Piers, I don't know what you're talking about,' he joked.
The host laughed at his remark, before asking him about Chavez, who Jake described as a 'dumba**', while branding this weekend's fight 'easy work'. More Trending
It will mark Jake's first fight since his controversial fight against Mike Tyson in November 2024.
He was awarded a points win over the boxing icon, more than three decades his senior.
Answering his critics on Uncensored he argued: 'It's entertainment. If Mike Tyson wants to fight you, of course you're going to say yes. He walked away with tens of millions of dollars to support his family for the rest of their lives and we made the biggest fight history.

TV fans torn between bingeing Netflix hit series or 'anxiety-inducing' drama
TV viewers are officially in two minds after finding out that two of the biggest dramas of recent years have both come back this week. Netflix hit series Squid Game returns for its third – and apparently final – season on the same day that American drama The Bear comes back for season four. South Korean series Squid Game initially followed 456 cash-poor contestants of a deadly game that had a £30million prize fund, with the last person left alive declared the winner. Initially released in 2021, the Lee Jung-jae thriller became a worldwide hit, with the iconic outfits from the series providing memorable Halloween costumes. As for The Bear, the Jeremy Allen White show followed the chaotic everyday existence of the members of staff working at an Italian sandwich shop. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. The acclaimed drama got off to a fast start and hasn't slowed up since, with fans and critics both loving the high-octane kitchen drama for three seasons. On Reddit, LeeJTam put it simply and clearly: 'I love this show but man it gives me serious anxiety sometimes… But this show is amazing even with all that.' Its fourth season dropped on Wednesday night, with all 10 episodes of the latest batch released at once, giving fans just days to catch up before Squid Game comes around. It's left TV fans on social media feeling excited and anxious but also over-stimulated and a little lost for time – they've almost got too much TV for them to choose from. On X, @Baymob said they were aware that 'Squid Game season 3, The Bear Season 4, and [Marvel series] Ironheart [are] all dropping this week,' accompanying their post with an image of someone having two smartphones pressed against their head. @JackHammer10 said: 'The Bear Season 4 [on Wednesday], Squid Game Season 3 on Friday, the F1 movie on Saturday. We are eating great this week.' @BathTubBum also noted the close release schedules – 'they're all out in the same week'- and shared a humorous image of a small dog with its mouth full of spaghetti. 'Squid Game season 3 and The Bear season 4 during Pride Month? Oh, I am gonna be so insufferable,' they posted. @JimmyTurtle worried that releasing Ironheart this week would affect its chances with viewers: 'Releasing this the same week as The Bear and Squid Game? Yeah, not a great choice.' Metro recently spoke to the creator of Squid Game, Hwang Dong-hyuk, about the future of the franchise, and he revealed where the story could go following the conclusion of season three. 'This is just some ideas that I've been throwing around during production. But there's a three-year gap between season one and two, since Gi-hun turns away from the plane,' he said. 'So I'd like to maybe look into the lives of those behind the mask, the Front Man, the Recruiter and Captain Park. How did they meet? What did they do during the three years? More Trending 'How did they stay on top of Gi-hun and whatnot? So that's something that I'm thinking about. I have to make it!' As for season four of The Bear – well, maybe Metro's Sabrina Barr might turn you towards Squid Game this weekend after saying the series 'still whets my appetite, but season 4 isn't searing hot'. The Bear still contains 'enough to warm my heart, but not enough to give me that feeling of satisfaction I so sorely crave'. View More » Watch Squid Game on Netflix. Watch The Bear on Disney Plus. Woman told she 'looks like Cole Palmer' now 'can't sleep at night'
A woman has shared her dismay after being compared to a famous English football player - but some YouTube viewers believe this isn't her only celebrity lookalike A woman has been having sleepless nights after being compared to English football player Cole Palmer. Emily, who is known as @emlyhartnett on social media, shared a clip of her copying Palmer's poses for publicity pictures - and people can't believe their likeness. On her TikTok video, she wrote: "Someone told me I look like Cole Palmer once and I haven't been able to sleep at night since." However, it seems she's able to see the funny side to their uncanny likeness, adding: "Call me the goat, I guess." Not only do they both have brown eyes, they also have a similar facial structure including their nose and mouth shape. Commenting on her video, one user said: "You look more like Cole Palmer than Cole Palmer." Another user added: "If it makes you feel any better, I really fancy Cole Palmer." A third user said: "Put on a Chelsea shirt and don't ask why." The now 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Manchester City on transfer deadline day in September 2023. He was awarded Player of the Season during his first year at Stamford Bridge and became a full England international, going on to score for his nation in the European Championship final versus Spain. More recently, Palmer started a new season with a two-year extension to his contract, taking him up to 2033. His stats show he has made 35 men's team appearances, played for 3,015 minutes, and made 15 goals, ranking him as number one in the team. Speaking about how fame has changed his life since joining Chelsea as an attacking midfielder or winger, Palmer said on Chelsea FC: "My life has changed massively. "I can't really go to certain places when I just want to chill. Like when you just go to the shop around the corner, you'll think someone's watching you. "Being able to play five-a-side is the thing I miss most, though, just being able to go and play five-a-side with your mates." However, one more user claims Cole Palmer isn't her only lookalike claiming she also resembles YouTuber Calfreezy. In agreement, one user said: "OMG, you're so true." Another added: "More accurate." Even Calfreezy's close friend Callux couldn't help but laugh at the comparison, simply commenting: "LMAO." A final user added: "It's like if Cole Palmer and Calfreezy had a kid." Calfreezy has even played into this likeness dressing up as Palmer on The Fellas Podcast for Halloween last year. Calfreezy, real name Callum Airey, owns The Fellas Studios alongside Joshua Larkin, known on YouTube as TheBurntChip. Founded in 2020, the two YouTubers accumulated more than 1.7 billion views in 2023 with their popular podcasts The Fellas, Saving Grace and Growing Paynes.
