In 2024, Oasis rocker Liam hit out at the Irish band after two band members admitted they weren't fussed about the hugely-hyped Oasis reunion tour.
Speaking to Studio Brussel after the Oasis tour was announced, guitarist Carlos O'Connell and bassist Conor Deegan III were asked how they were feeling about the news.
'I couldn't really give a s***, to be honest,' O'Connell responded.
'I'm not excited about it either, to be honest,' Deegan agreed.
'Because I just feel like we kind of get caught, in the last year, 2010s, into such a nostalgic thing, that we're forgetting to make new things and I've felt like, what we wanted to do with this record anyway, where we wanted to make our minds look into the future and making new things.
'So for Oasis to reform at this moment, for us, is really annoying.'
Liam responded to a fan account who shared an article covering the band's comments, writing: 'F*** them little spunkbubbles I've seen better dressed ROADIES.'
Additionally, Oasis had a reported falling out with R.E.M. after a show at Slane Castle in Ireland.
In 1995, Oasis played a support slot at Slane Castle for the indie rock superstars and their performance was so well-received that it overshadowed the headliners.
The strong reaction from the crowd, combined with some public comments, led to a perception of a feud or rivalry between the two bands.

Another three of my moles then called up at the start of last month — to tell me they'd heard about a possible residency at the Etihad Stadium, home of their beloved Manchester City. Weeks later, the rumours started to build online, with fake posters circulated and fan forums alight with talk of the potential to keep the reunion alive. A well-placed insider, who works for a major promoter, told me: 'I could see all of this happening. Advertisement 'There is so much on the table but it's whether Noel and Liam want to do it.' Those close to the band tell me Noel and Liam are not considering anything for 2026, with no solid plans or bookings locked in. 'They'll be having a well-earned holiday as soon as this tour finishes later this year,' a source explained.
