WONDERHAUL Oasis weigh up offers for huge gigs in 2026 including four Knebworth anniversary shows after success of reunion tour
JUST weeks after Oasis' sell-out 41-date reunion tour kicked off, I was inundated with calls about what was being lined up next for Noel and Liam Gallagher.
According to two of my contacts, the brothers have been offered four huge shows at Knebworth House next year — to mark the 30th anniversary of their two historic concerts there in 1996.

If the rockers take up the offer, the shows would see them beating their former foe Robbie Williams' achievement of playing the iconic Hertfordshire venue three times.
Another three of my moles then called up at the start of last month — to tell me they'd heard about a possible residency at the Etihad Stadium, home of their beloved Manchester City.
Weeks later, the rumours started to build online, with fake posters circulated and fan forums alight with talk of the potential to keep the reunion alive.
A well-placed insider, who works for a major promoter, told me: 'I could see all of this happening.

'There is so much on the table but it's whether Noel and Liam want to do it.'
Those close to the band tell me Noel and Liam are not considering anything for 2026, with no solid plans or bookings locked in.
'They'll be having a well-earned holiday as soon as this tour finishes later this year,' a source explained.
'As for 2026, they've seen the speculation, they've heard about the offers and they know what the fans want.

'Keep magic going'
'But it's ultimately up for them to decide.
'The Oasis reunion hasn't just been concerts. You can see that it's been a cultural movement. Nothing comes close in recent history to Oasis's shows.
Liam Gallagher in fresh foul-mouthed rant at Edinburgh Council during Oasis night two
'It's a question of whether Noel and Liam want to draw a line in the sand and close the door on this chapter, knowing they captured the zeitgeist. Or do they strike it up again and keep the magic going? It's a difficult decision to make.'
Last month I revealed that private bidders and festivals — including Coachella in the US and Benicassim in Spain — have sent in offers for the band to consider.

All those, I've been told, have so far been stonewalled.
As a fan, I'd love the chance to see them live just one last time.
But if Noel and Liam do decide that this is it, then I'm counting my lucky stars I got to be there in Cardiff, on the second night of the comeback.

I'm certainly not complaining.

One of the fittest men in cinema got his kit off to show off his passion – and abs – in the latest advert for the soft drink.
And it's a victory against woke silliness.
Jamie is flashing his hard-earned bod in this ad, but covered up in a wetsuit when he first teamed up with the brand last year.
He said: 'Cold-water swimming is a passion that's become very important to me. It's my way of finding a moment for myself and I try to do it as often as I can.

'I hope that giving a peek behind the scenes of my lesser-known passion inspires others to take a moment for themselves, crack open an ice-cold Diet Coke, and explore their own personal tastes.'
Whatever you say, Jamie.

'There were moments after Love Island where I was so unhappy. I was crying a lot. When I look back, it actually gives me some PTSD.
'I'm so fortunate now that I've got such an incredible team around me and we trust each other. That has changed everything for me.'
Maura has an upcoming appearance on The Traitors US and told Original Magazine: 'I can't say too much yet about how it all played out, but let's just say viewers are going to be absolutely hooked.'

But I just hope the new music doesn't make me want to do that.

Wearing this arty top with a spooky face, the actress continued to promote her hit Netflix show Wednesday.
Jenna, who plays the title character, has had rave reviews for her role in the second series of the Addams Family spin-off, in which she appears alongside Billie Piper and Dame Joanna Lumley.
The latest episodes also see her have a sword fight with mum Morticia, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Catherine said: 'As many parents know, the teenage mother-daughter relationship can be a little contentious. And that's very contentious in Wednesday, too.

'Jenna Ortega, I adore. And I had so much fun. As our characters, we play this verbal, emotional kind of duel. And then the writers put that into a physical form. And we just had fun.'

I've learned she shot scenes last week for the clip, which will be out in the next few weeks ahead of her album That's Showbiz Baby, which drops on September 12.
A music insider said: 'Jordan and Jade are huge supporters of each other and it meant a lot that he wanted to be in the video.
'It's not a big part because he wasn't on set for the whole thing. It will be a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but also very special.

'They know that their fans will love to try to spot him in the finished video when it comes out in a few weeks' time.'
Jade will be the first Little Mix member to release a solo album when the project comes out – three years after the group performed their final concert.
She has been dating Rizzle Kicks star Jordan for five years and he is regularly by her side supporting her, despite having a hectic schedule of his own.
Speaking earlier this year, he said: 'My girlfriend earns more money than me. She's super successful, and I f***ing love it.'

Joe welcomed Demi out to sing This Is Me and Wouldn't Change A Thing from the 2008 Disney movie Camp Rock, in which they played boyfriend and girlfriend. He even had a hug for his old flame.
It has been revealed that a third Camp Rock film is in the works, which would follow the second one that came out in 2010.
Teasing his possible involvement last week, Nick said: 'I can neither confirm nor deny that is happening or not. You'll just have to wait and see.'

Well, this collaboration on stage isn't going to quieten any speculation.

Half the country away: How Munster fans can get to Croke Park Oasis gig as Irish Rail puts on extra trains

Oasis will grace an Irish stage for the first time in 17 years this weekend, finally fulfilling the hopes of tens of thousands of fans that the most famous rift in rock would somehow be healed. Tickets for Oasis's Croke Park gigs this Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17, sold out in minutes last August, and some 160,000 rock 'n' roll fans from across Ireland and further afield are expected to pack out the home of the GAA over the two nights. Doors open at 5pm, with the first support act — Verve front man Richard Ashcroft — due on stage at about 6pm. Once his set concludes, Liverpool rockers Cast will take to the stage. If Oasis's previous gigs on this tour are anything to go by, Liam and Noel Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, and drummer Joey Waronker should begin their approximately two-hour set about 8.15pm. Dublin is sure to be extremely busy in the run-up to and aftermath of both gigs, so fans, particularly those travelling into the capital by train from other parts of the country, have been advised to plan their journeys in advance. Iarnród Éireann will be running additional services both nights. These are: 07.45am Cork to Dublin Heuston (Sunday only); 8am Cork to Mallow will operate to Dublin Heuston (Saturday only); 10.15am Waterford to Dublin Heuston (Saturday only); 10.45am Waterford to Dublin Heuston (Sunday only); 23.59pm Dublin Connolly to Belfast (both nights); 12.30am Heuston to Galway* (Saturday night only); 12.40am Heuston to Cork* with connection to Limerick Colbert (both nights). The final two trains on this list will appear on Iarnród Éireann's Journey Planner for the following day, ie the 12.40am services will appear on the schedule for Sunday, August 17, and Monday, August 18, respectively. A spokesperson for the company said intercity trains were likely to sell out "very quickly", and tickets would not be available at stations on the day. Indeed, at time of writing, the 8am, 9.25am, 10.25am, 11.25am, and 12.25pm trains from Cork (Kent) to Dublin (Heuston) this Saturday are sold out, though there are still some spots available on the 1.25pm, 2.25pm and 3.25pm services. The 12.40am service from Dublin back to Cork in the early hours on Sunday morning is also almost at capacity. It's a similar picture for Sunday, with the 8.25am, 10.25am, 12.25pm, 12.50pm, and 2.50pm services from Kent to Heuston fully booked at time of writing. There is some availability on the 2.25pm and 3.25pm services, however. A small number of tickets are also still available on the 12.40am service from Heuston to Kent on Monday, August 18 also.

Irish Rail issue urgent warning ahead of Oasis-weekend

The moment many people have been waiting for is almost here, Oasis play Dublin's Croke Park this weekend. Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher returned to the stage as a band for the first time since 2009 last month, and have been working their way around the United Kingdom as part of their tour, Live 25. On Saturday and Sunday, all roads lead to Croke Park with Irish Rail issuing advice for those travelling to the capital via train. Pic: Samir Hussein/WireImage A spokesperson for the rail service confirmed a busy weekend was coming up with a number of Intercity routes already sold out from Friday through to Sunday. Remaining tickets were selling 'fast' with concert-goers advised to organise their travel plans to and from the capital as soon as possible. Train-users are advised that tickets will not be available to purchase at Intercity train stations on the day, and customers must travel on the train they have booked. On Saturday and Sunday, all roads lead to Croke Park with Irish Rail issuing advice for those travelling to the capital via train. Pic: Nicola_K_Photos/Shutterstock A number of additional trains have been put on including an 8am Cork to Dublin Heuston service and a 10.15am Waterford to Dublin Heuston Service. The additional trains from Dublin are 00.30 Dublin Heuston to Galway and 00.40 Heuston to Cork — with connection at Limerick Junction for Limerick. As the returning services leave after midnight, the date on the ticket will be August 17. Pic:Additional services for Sundays gigs are 7.45am Cork to Dublin Heuston; 10.45am Waterford to Dublin Heuston; 2.15pm Heuston to Waterford and 00.40 Dublin Heuston to Cork. Again, the 00.40 service departs on August 18 for those looking to book online. The Irish Rail spokesperson confirmed to that there would be additional services on the DART and commuter routes. Concert-goers are also advised that there is still accommodation available in the capital over the weekend, though you'll be paying a pretty penny for the luxury. Pic: Crispin Rodwell/Bloomberg via Getty Images They said: 'Customers are encouraged to travel early and to expect trains to be busy. Alcohol is not permitted on any train services.' Concert-goers are also advised that there is still accommodation available in the capital over the weekend, though you'll be paying a pretty penny for the luxury. The Clayton Group have limited availability in their D4 hotels, located on Burlington Road and The Merrion Road in Ballsbridge, with a standard room, excluding breakfast, costing €399. But with room rates starting at €769 you want to be flush with cash to bag an overnight at The Intercontinental Hotel. With thousands expected to descend on the city for the event, accommodation costs have surged to supersonic levels for the weekend of 16-17th August.

Five huge reunions that have happened in 2025

The Jonas Brothers ramped up the nostalgia meter over the weekend as they brought on their former Disney co-star Demi Lovato on stage for a Camp Rock reunion, leaving fans going wild. On Sunday, the three-piece band — comprising of brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick — kicked off their 20th anniversary tour, JONAS20, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The brothers were reminiscing about their 2008 Disney movie, Camp Rock, before star of the film Demi Lovato joined them on stage. Pic:for Live Nation It's been a nostalgic year of comebacks and reunions, so take a look at some of the best reunions of 2025 to date…. It was a moment many thought may never happen but Oasis are back, and the countdown for their Croker gigs is well and truly on. Following their split in 2009, last year brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher confirmed they were reuniting for a string of shows as part of Live 25. It was a moment many thought may never happen but Oasis are back, and the countdown for their Croker gigs is well and truly on. Pic: Samir Hussein/WireImage Initially, a UK and Ireland tour, high demand led the band to expand the tour worldwide with dates in Canada and the United States of America as well as Asia and Australia. The Mancunians kicked off the tour last month at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, and it is almost Ireland's time with the brothers taking to the stage at Croke Park this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17. Tickets are like gold dust, but should you manage to nab some last minute tickets there is still accommodation available in the capital — but you gotta be 'rolling in it' to cover the costs. Heavy metal band Black Sabbath reunited this year, on the request of lead singer Ozzy Osbourne. The band performed one final charity show at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, titled Back to the Beginning. The gig was the band's first together in eight years, and also marked the first time in 20 years that the original line-up performed together. Just weeks after the performance, Ozzy died 'surrounded by love' following a years-long battle with Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his wife Sharon and children Kelly, Aimee, Jack, Jessica, Louis and Elliot.
