Five huge reunions that have happened in 2025
On Sunday, the three-piece band — comprising of brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick — kicked off their 20th anniversary tour, JONAS20, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The brothers were reminiscing about their 2008 Disney movie, Camp Rock, before star of the film Demi Lovato joined them on stage. Initially, a UK and Ireland tour, high demand led the band to expand the tour worldwide with dates in Canada and the United States of America as well as Asia and Australia.
The Mancunians kicked off the tour last month at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, and it is almost Ireland's time with the brothers taking to the stage at Croke Park this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17.
Tickets are like gold dust, but should you manage to nab some last minute tickets there is still accommodation available in the capital — but you gotta be 'rolling in it' to cover the costs. Lindsay Lohan is back on the silver screen and we couldn't be happier. The 29-year-old made her acting return in 2021 following a tumultuous few years and this year gave the people what they wanted: A Freaky Friday sequel.
Freakier Friday hit cinemas on Friday with Lindsay reprising her role as Anna Coleman alongside Jamie-Lee Curtis who returned to the role as Anna's mom, Tess.
The sequel, produced by Walt Disney Pictures, also saw original cast member Chad Michael Murray returning 22 years after the first movie was released.
The Los Angeles premiere of the Disney movie also saw another reunion on the cards for Lindsay and die-hard fans as she reconnected with Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix, who were in The Parent Trap alongside Lindsay in 1998. Presenting an awards show like the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGS) will bring you face-to-face with an array of your former co-stars as Kristen Bell learned earlier this year when she shared the stage with Nobody Wants This' Adam Brody as well as her Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester (who is also in Nobody Wants This).
It was the mini-reunion with Ted Danson and William Jackson Harper in the audience during the show that had everyone screaming however, as the trio joked about having their own Challengers moment. @elle.aus #Challengers you will forever be iconic, as will #TheGoodPlace! #SAGAwards #KristenBell #TedDanson #WilliamJacksonHarper ♬ original sound – ELLE Australia
The actors were the stars in Netflix' The Good Place, which ran for four seasons, concluding in 2020.
'This is not a challenge,' Kristen said, referencing Zendaya's tennis flick, Challengers.
'Yes, it is,' both Ted and William said before leaning in to kiss Kristen. @sarah.michelle.ge Former Buffy costars and longtime besties #sethgreen and #sarahmichellegellar had a red carpet reunion at the Los Angeles premiere of #KnowWhatYouDidLastSummer 🖤🖤 #fypp #buffytok #buffyedit #icon #og ♬ More Than a Feeling – Boston
Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar has reunited with a number of her former Buffy co-stars in recent months, which added fuel to speculation that a reboot could be on the cards.
Seth Green, who Daniel Osbourne on the hit show, was among those at the Los Angeles premiere of I Know What You Did Last Summer, with fans going wild as the 51-year-old posed alongside long-time pal Sarah. View this post on Instagram

Elsewhere, Sarah reunited with Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenburg in the show, as they worked together on a campaign to raise awareness about meningitis.
Hopefully, we'll be seeing a lot more Buffy reunions in the coming months following news that Hulu are currently developing a reboot of the iconic 90s show.
Heavy metal band Black Sabbath reunited this year, on the request of lead singer Ozzy Osbourne.
The band performed one final charity show at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, titled Back to the Beginning.
The gig was the band's first together in eight years, and also marked the first time in 20 years that the original line-up performed together.
Just weeks after the performance, Ozzy died 'surrounded by love' following a years-long battle with Parkinson's disease.
He is survived by his wife Sharon and children Kelly, Aimee, Jack, Jessica, Louis and Elliot.

Scramble for prized merch at Oasis pop-up shop in Dublin as fans count down the days to Croke Park gigs
More than 16 years on from the last time the Manchester rockers played Ireland at Slane in June 2009, the excitement was palpable at their pop-up merch store at St Stephen's Green, Dublin. A steady crowd of people streamed into the store throughout the afternoon, many emerging minutes later with bags stuffed with T-shirts, hoodies, posters and special-edition vinyl presses made for the Live '25 tour. The collaboration between Oasis and sportswear giant Adidas has made huge waves, selling out when it was first released ahead of the tour and proving hugely popular at the pop-ups seen across Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and now Dublin. When the Irish Independent visited the store, there was just a single shirt bearing the three stripes left, a lone black and beige, size large short sleeve. A pair of friends deliberated over the shirt, balked at the €55 price tag and promptly placed it back on the rack. It was scooped up by the man next to them in the blink of an eye. For his trouble, he got a look that screamed, 'Would you have stood in my grave as fast?' Among the fans flocking to the store were brothers Daniel and Niall Duffy, aged 18 and 20, from Lusk in Co Dublin. The pair, having already shelled out more than €500 for tickets for Saturday's gig at Croke Park, spent nearly €400 between them at the pop-up shop selling clothes, programmes and vinyl. Rock 'n' Roll Star, Slide Away and The Masterplan were the picks of the bunch when the Duffys were asked their favourite Oasis tracks. Daniel nailed a rendition of Live Forever as we challenged fans to finish the lyrics from some of their hits. There were mixed results – one fan was pitch perfect for a few lines of Hello, a group of American tourists enthusiastically sang the wrong lyrics for Wonderwall and another fan hung her head as she forgot the words to Some Might Say. We only paid the standard price for the tickets, we avoided the dynamic pricing totally The pair went to see Liam when his 30th-anniversary tour came to Ireland last year, so Niall made sure to get his younger brother on the Oasis train ahead of the gig. 'I spent €190 on this,' Daniel said, nodding to his recently acquired bag of goodies. 'It's a tour programme, a hoodie and two T-shirts.' The brothers, self-described Oasis superfans, managed to avoid the scramble for tickets many had struggled with. 'We ended up getting on the pre-sale ballot. We weren't far off only paying for the cheapest, we didn't have to deal with the general sale,' Niall said. 'We only paid the standard price for the tickets, we avoided the dynamic pricing totally. 'Standard' pricing for the tickets was still a pretty penny for them at around €170 each for seats in the lower Hogan Stand, but they're just happy to not be up in the nosebleeds. On the relatively younger side of the Oasis fandom, this is the first chance for the Duffy brothers to see the band live. Did they think the day would ever come? 'I had a feeling it would happen at some point,' Daniel said. 'I didn't think it would happen so soon, but I was hopeful.'

Oasis land in Ireland ahead of mammoth Croke Park gigs
Oasis have landed in Ireland ahead of their huge two gigs in Croke Park this weekend. The Gallagher brothers et al are finally reaching our shores on Saturday and Sunday (August 16 and 17) for their reunion tour, nearly one year since they announced the tour and 16 years since their acrimonious split in 2009. The 162,000 people, and the country in general, are clearly mad fer it ahead of this weekend — with the band's rhythm guitarist and founding member Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs sharing a photo from a plane window showing the country from above, confirming the news that we've all been waiting for. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Paul Arthurs (@boneheadspage) Bonehead simply had one instruction for the Irish contingent on this leg of the tour in between Irish flag emojis and dance emojis: captioning the pic 'bring the noise,' while the comments were reaching a fever pitch ahead of the gigs. 'Awe class. See you in 3 days,' one person commented. 'All my dreams will actually come true once I see it's real. Keep up being the photographer during the tour. Some pics you've taken. Love it,' while another added 'Welcome to Dublin! Cannot wait to see you on Sunday!!' 'Bringing it all back home, enjoy every second Paul,' another added, while another wrote 'I hope you're ready Paul.' Oasis are in Ireland ahead of their Croke Park gigs this weekend. Pic: Emmett/Fear PR/PA Wire The band all have some Irish in them being second generation with Noel and Liam's parents famously being from Mayo and Meath. Bonehead, Tony 'Guigsy' McGuigan and original drummer Tony Carroll also all have Irish heritage. Oasis Mania has taken over the country ahead of the gigs, with Dublin Port sharing a video of the convoy of trucks that are carrying the stage ahead of the shows, while videos on TikTok have also seen what the stadium will look like. Of course, with so many people heading to the capital from around the country, logistics are set to be a huge part of the show — with Irish Rail issuing advice for people heading to the gigs, confirming that a number of intercity trains have sold out from Friday to Sunday. The band are set to play two huge gigs in Croke Park on Saturday and Sunday. Pic:A spokesperson for the rail service confirmed a busy weekend was coming up, with a number of Intercity routes already sold out from Friday through to Sunday. Remaining tickets were selling 'fast' with concert-goers advised to organise their travel plans to and from the capital as soon as possible. Train users are advised that tickets will not be available to purchase at Intercity train stations on the day, and customers must travel on the train they have booked. A number of additional trains have been put on, including an 8am Cork to Dublin Heuston service and a 10.15am Waterford to Dublin Heuston Service. The additional trains from Dublin are 00.30 Dublin Heuston to Galway and 00.40 Heuston to Cork — with a connection at Limerick Junction for Limerick. As the returning services leave after midnight, the date on the ticket will be August 17.

‘See you in Dublin, bring the noise' – Oasis guitarist lands in Ireland ahead of gigs
Bonehead has re-joined Oasis alongside the Gallagher brothers and members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker for their reunion tour The countdown for the two sold-out Oasis gigs in Croke Park continues, with founding band member Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs sharing a photo of the Dublin coastline as the band prepares to touch down in Ireland for the first time since 2009. The guitarist has re-joined Oasis alongside the Gallagher brothers and members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker for their reunion tour, which continues in Dublin this weekend. Sharing several Irish flag emojis and a view of the Dublin coast from a plane, the musician said: 'Bring on the noise." He also shared a photo of fans enjoying a previous gig on the tour, telling Irish fans: 'See you in Dublin, bring the noise.' According to NME, Noel Gallagher told fans in Cardiff that Arthurs is the one responsible for the reunion tour, saying: 'On guitar, if it wasn't for him, none of this would have happened.' Arthurs, a founding member of the band, played with Oasis for their first three albums before departing in 1999 and has played with Liam Gallagher's solo band in recent years. After a 16-year hiatus, the Gallagher brothers announced last August that they would perform together for the first time since the band's split in 2009. They will bring their highly anticipated Live '25 tour to Dublin for two sold-out nights on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17. Extra rail services to Dublin are planned for the upcoming weekend as crowds are set to descend on Croke Park for the gigs. On the first night of the tour last month, the band thanked their fans for 'putting up with us over the years'. During the gig, Liam apologised to fans for how long it had taken for them to reunite. As they broke into fan-favourite Champagne Supernova, their final song of the evening, he said: 'Right you beautiful people, this is it. Nice one for putting up with us over the years, we know we've been difficult. A movie, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is being made in conjunction with the reunion tour. Formed in Manchester in 1991, the rock band was led by lead guitarist Noel and his brother, lead vocalist Liam, during their 18 years together. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994. They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever. Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before their dramatic split.
