Moment topless, beer-swilling teens erupt in fistfight behind beach huts in days of seaside yob chaos

The Sun23-06-2025
THIS is the moment a group of topless teenagers brawled behind beach huts as cops struggle to crackdown on seaside chaos.
Teens were filmed forming a ring around two yobs who were throwing punches at one another in Kent.

Many filmed the fight as it drew closer to a row of beach huts on Broadstairs beach - once called the "jewel of the region" over the weekend.
Earlier footage showed the boys brawling on the sand within a circle of jeering onlookers.
At one point, one teen dramatically bodyslammed the other to the ground.
Scared beachgoers were seen backing away and leaving the sand amid the commotion.
It came just one day after cops put a dispersal order in place in Broadstairs - and later another one in Margate.
This is after a "small minority of young people" causing problems.
Cops said this included "under-age street drinking, fighting and reports of aggressive behaviour towards staff at shops".
The dispersal orders covered the two town centres as well as the seafronts and surrounding streets.
It comes after a gang of around 30 teens sparked chaos and hurled chairs at waiters in front of horrified customers.
The shocking scenes were filmed as a group of yobs attacked a family restaurant at Broadstairs.
A gang of up to 30 youths tried to enter the Italian restaurant, Sardinia, in Broadstairs as terrified customers looked on.

The group were chasing another teen who had sought safety inside the food spot.
The video circulating online shows the teens running towards the restaurant before some started attacking two male members of staff at the front door.
The staff closed the doors as the youth the group was chasing hid inside the restaurant.
Objects were hurled at the staff before a bare-chested male picked up a chair from outside and threw it, smashing one of the windows.
One staff member was seen restraining the other, who disappeared inside while his colleague picked up a chair to defend himself.
More chairs are hurled and a male voice in the video was heard shouting "get him bro, get him".
Two girls were also seen filming the attack urging them on before the second staff member appeared and chased one of the attackers down the street.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Kent Police was called to a report that a disturbance related to approximately 50 individuals was taking place on Broadstairs beach shortly before 3pm on Saturday 21 June.
"Officers attended and after completing enquiries a 17 year old boy was arrested and taken into custody.
"Later that day, the teenager was charged with assaulting a police officer and was bailed with conditions to attend Maidstone Youth Court at a later date.
"A dispersal order remains in place following concerns of antisocial behaviour involving a small minority of young people in some public areas, including the town centre and beaches.
"Local officers will be on patrol to provide a visible presence and to ensure the area remains a safe place for all."

Gang who squirted sauce on victims to distract them as they stole thousands are jailed after months-long theft spree

Members of a ruthless organised crime gang who robbed people by squirting them with bottled sauces have been jailed. The five gang members used distraction techniques including squirting mustard and ketchup onto the coats of their elderly victims, who had just taken cash out of the bank, whilst another gang member robbed them. Between October 2024 and February 2025, the five offenders observed the victims collecting large amounts of money from branches in Kent, including Chatham, Dartford, Gravesend and Sevenoaks. They then followed their victims, who were in their 60s, 70s and 80s, back to where their cars were parked. The criminals then engaged the victims in conversation while accomplices stole the cash. Other methods used to distract the victims included placing nails and pins on the floor to either cause a puncture or encourage the victim to get out and remove the potential hazard. They also squirted sauce or mustard from a bottle onto the victim's coat and then pointed out the stain to cause a distraction. On each occasion, the victims, who were in their 60s, 70s and 80s, were engaged in talking sufficiently for another accomplice to gain access to the cash inside a car or bag and steal it undetected. A police investigation led to the tracking of a vehicle involved in the thefts back to Hemel Hempstead, where the gang members were later arrested. Jhon Ruiz, Maria Carmen, Solomon Rondon, Miguel Perez and Matias Vega, all of no fixed address, were later charged with conspiracy to steal. Further investigations following their arrest found the thieves had also targeted victims in Berkshire and Essex. In total, the gang stole £20,720 and attempted to steal a further £10,085. All five pleaded guilty to the indictment and were sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 7 August. Perez, 31, was imprisoned for three years and nine months and Carmen, 48, was sentenced to three years and four months in prison. Ruiz, 40, Rondon, 49 and Vega, 32, were all jailed for two years and seven months. Investigating officer, Detective Constable Emma Laimbeer, said: 'These heartless criminals targeted victims who could not afford to lose the large amounts of cash that were stolen. 'Their targets were people whose first instinct was to trust strangers who engaged them in conversation. The victims' good natures were then exploited by an organised gang who used a variety of distraction techniques to get access to their money. 'Our detectives were absolutely determined to track down these offenders and successfully identified their car through painstaking examination of CCTV. 'Once identified, investigators worked out the most likely location to intercept the thieves and travelled out of Kent to effect the arrests.'

Fox News accidentally shows very unfortunate video while discussing Taylor Swift's new album

Fox News accidentally cut to footage of a violent brawl during a report about Taylor Swift. The b-roll-related blunder could be seen on Tuesday's Fox & Friends. Reporter Carley Shimkus was in the midst of speaking about Swift's newly announced album. But rather than a clip from the podcast where the pop star made the revelation, viewers were met with footage from the viral Cincinnati beatdown that left six injured last month. 'Well, that was not the clip,' Shimkus mused. 'You know, sometimes I just take something out of my pocket and throw it into the TV and it's the wrong thing,' she joked, as showrunners cut the clip in question. In its place, a sequence of stills showing Swift performing populated the broadcast. The album, titled The Life of a Showgirl, is the singer's 12th. A release date has not yet been announced. Scroll down for video: As for the broadcast, it went on as usual. Shimkus told hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade, and Lawrence Jones that 'Swifties' can expect the new release 'soon.' 'Those are headlines. Back to you.' Daily Mail contacted Fox News for comment. The footage from the fight recorded in Cincinnati, meanwhile, has ignited controversy across the country, calling attention to increased incidents of violent crime in certain cities. A seventh suspect related to the incident, which occurred on July 26, was arrested on Monday on charges of alleged aggravated riot and aggravated robbery. He was identified Tuesday as 32-year-old Gregory Wright. The six other defendants were indicted by a grand jury for their alleged roles in the conflict last week. They are: Patrick Rosemond, 38, Jermaine Matthews, 39, Montianez Merriweather, 34, DeKyra Vernon, 24, Dominique Kittle, 37, and Aisha Devaughn, 25. Each are charged with three counts of alleged felonious assault, three charges of assault and two charges of aggravated rioting, the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office said. 'What I saw on video is not the Cincinnati I know and love,' Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich said in a statement laying bare the charges last week. 'These charges hold those involved in the attack accountable.'
