Alright, Sullivan's Crossing fans, gather 'round! That Season 3 finale had us all yelling at our screens—Maggie's got a husband now? What?! If you're as obsessed with this cozy Canadian drama, you're probably counting down the days to Season 4. The great news? It's happening! We've scoured the internet and pieced together everything we know about the next chapter in Nova Scotia's most romantic campground. From when it might hit our screens to who's coming back and what's up with that cliffhanger, here's the full scoop. Let's dive in! Sullivan's Crossing Season 4 Release Date Speculation
No official release date yet, but let's play detective. Sullivan's Crossing has been pretty consistent with dropping a new season every year since it started: Season 1 kicked off on CTV in March 2023, then hit The CW in October 2023.
Season 2 showed up on CTV in April 2024, followed by The CW in October 2024.
Season 3 started on CTV in April 2025 and The CW in May 2025.
If they stick to this rhythm, I'm betting Season 4 will land on CTV around April or May 2026, with The CW following a month or two later, maybe June 2026. Filming usually happens in Nova Scotia a few months before, so they might start cameras rolling in late 2025. Who's Returning for Sullivan's Crossing Season 4? Cast Updates
The core cast of Sullivan's Crossing has remained steady across its first three seasons, and we expect most familiar faces to return for Season 4, barring any major plot twists. Here's who's likely to be back: Morgan Kohan as Maggie Sullivan : The neurosurgeon who traded her fast-paced Boston life for the slower rhythm of Sullivan's Crossing will continue to navigate love, family, and her new clinic.
Chad Michael Murray as Cal Jones : Maggie's love interest and Sully's campground assistant is set to face new challenges after the shocking Season 3 finale.
Scott Patterson as Harry 'Sully' Sullivan : Maggie's estranged father, who runs the campground, may explore new adventures after his decision to travel to Ireland with Helen.
Andrea Menard as Edna Cranebear : Following her successful brain tumor surgery in Season 3, Edna's recovery journey will likely be a focus.
Tom Jackson as Frank Cranebear : Edna's supportive husband and a key figure in the community.
Lindura as Sydney Shandon : Her relationship with Rafe is on shaky ground, setting up potential drama.
Reid Price as Rob Shandon : Rob's new restaurant and relationship with Jane will likely continue to evolve.
Dakota Taylor as Rafe Vadas : Rafe's desire for marriage could lead to conflict with Sydney.
Amalia Williamson as Lola Gunderson : A recurring character with ties to the Crossing's past.
Cindy Sampson as Jane : Rob's girlfriend, who seems to be a long-term addition.
Kate Vernon as Helen Culver: The bestselling author who joined in Season 3 and may travel with Sully.
New guest stars could also join the ensemble, as Season 3 introduced characters like Cooper (Steve Lund) and Jacob Cranebear (Joel Oulette). Any casting shake-ups will depend on how Season 3's cliffhangers resolve, particularly for Maggie and Cal. What Will Happen in Sullivan's Crossing Season 4? Plot Predictions
The Season 3 finale, which aired on June 22, 2025, left fans reeling with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. Maggie, who decided to stay in Sullivan's Crossing to run her own clinic and be with Cal, was blindsided by the arrival of Liam, a figure from her past claiming to be her husband. This bombshell sets the stage for a dramatic Season 4. Here's what we expect based on the finale and the show's themes: Maggie and Cal's Relationship
Maggie and Cal finally committed to each other in Season 3, but Liam's claim threatens to upend their romance. Season 4 will likely explore: The truth behind Liam's assertion—Is he really Maggie's husband, or is there a misunderstanding?
How Maggie and Cal navigate this bombshell, especially after Maggie's recent loss of her baby with ex Andrew Mathews.
Whether Maggie's decision to stay in the Crossing holds firm amidst new personal turmoil. Sully's New Chapter
Sully's agreement to travel to Ireland with Helen marks a significant shift for the character, who's been tied to the Crossing for decades. Season 4 could show: Sully's adventures abroad and how they impact his relationship with Maggie.
Whether Sully leaves the campground in Maggie's care permanently or returns to Nova Scotia.
His emotional growth as he moves beyond past regrets, including the guilt over Lola's accident. Edna's Recovery
After her successful brain tumor surgery, Edna's recovery will be a key storyline. Frank's support and the community's role in her healing could highlight the show's focus on family and togetherness. The Crossing's Future
The show often weaves in threats to the campground, like new developments or financial struggles. Season 4 might introduce fresh obstacles, such as competition from Sully's 'shady new neighbors' or changes in the town's landscape.
Like its predecessor Virgin River , Sullivan's Crossing thrives on emotional depth, romantic entanglements, and small-town drama. Expect Season 4 to deliver more twists, heartfelt moments, and stunning Nova Scotia scenery.

Need a new book? 15 new releases to read now, from romantasy to nonfiction

Nothing distracts from the heat like a journey into a far-off fictional land. Some of us are spending our summers curled up with a good book in the air conditioning, while others prefer their read at the beach. Or, if you're like me, cramming too many books into my suitcase that I'll never have time to read on my summer adventure. Whatever your reading habits are, July has been jam-packed with stories for every booklover. We've seen a juicy biography about Gwyneth Paltrow and her Goop empire, a nonfiction guide to healthier, sober living and new poetry collections to calm and soothe the mind. What to read next: 15 new releases to check out now Across thrilling AI-driven family drama, high-stakes romantasy and propulsive narrative nonfiction, here are 15 new books from July we recommend reading. 'Maggie; Or, A Man and a Woman Walk Into a Bar' by Katie Yee With awe-inducing prose, 'Maggie' is a meditation on motherhood, grief, interracial relationships and aging. It follows a woman who finds out her husband is having an affair just as she is diagnosed with breast cancer. She decides, fittingly, to name her tumor Maggie, after her husband's lover. Hilarious and heartbreaking, Yee packs a serious punch in just around 200 pages. 'These Summer Storms' by Sarah MacLean Full of enough heart, private island trysts, grief and sibling rivalry to keep you glued to the page, 'These Summer Storms' is a romance and family saga about the estranged daughter of a tech billionaire finally coming home. Alice Storm returns to her family's private island when her father unexpectedly dies, hoping to fly under the radar for the funeral. But she and the remaining Storm family members are swept up into an inheritance game – her father's last wish, organized by her father's stern, handsome right-hand man. 'A Marriage at Sea' by Sophie Elmhirst This is nonfiction that reads like fiction – the best kind. 'A Marriage at Sea' seamlessly brings readers alongside Maurice and Maralyn Bailey's journey at sea, giving an intimate look at the weeks they spent stranded on a tiny life raft after a shipwreck. Elmhirst's retelling is a triumph, second only to the seemingly impossible feat of Maurice and Maralyn themselves. You won't be able to put it down. 'Culpability' by Bruce Holsinger A gripping page-turner, Holsinger's 'Culpability' follows a family dealing with the consequences of an AI-riddled world. The Cassidy-Shaws' automated minivan crashes into another car and kills an elderly couple, and everyone in the car bears some responsibility, some more hidden than others. When they decide to recuperate on the Chesapeake Bay, their proximity to each other and a tech mogul next door will force them to confront their moral dilemmas. 'History Lessons' by Zoe B. Wallbrook History professor Daphne Ouverture might be your next favorite unsuspecting sleuth. 'History Lessons' is a mystery set in a tightly-knit college town where beloved professor Sam Taylor is murdered and, before he dies, sends one final text to his colleague, rookie French colonialism professor Daphne. Now, she'll have to put down her ungraded papers to investigate his death and a campus cover-up endangering Harrison University's students of color. 'The Idaho Four' by James Patterson and Vicki Ward If you've kept up with the trial of Bryan Kohberger, the man sentenced to life in prison for murdering four University of Idaho students in 2022, you can now learn the victims' story in 'The Idaho Four.' James Patterson and journalist Vicky Ward interviewed more than 300 people close to the case and its investigation to paint a picture of the day of the murders, the families left behind and Kohberger himself. 'Love is a War Song' by Danica Nava If you love hyper-contemporary stories or couldn't get enough of 'Hannah Montana: The Movie,' this summer romance novel is for you. 'Love is a War Song' follows disgraced Native American pop star Avery, who is sent to live with her estranged grandmother after she's canceled for an offensive photoshoot. There, she meets grumpy ranch hand Lucas, who can't stand what Avery represents. But when the ranch's future is in jeopardy, they'll have to put their differences aside to save it. 'Spent' by Alison Bechdel Fans of 'Fun Home' and graphic novels alike should look no further than 'Spent,' a hilarious new autofiction piece following a fictional cartoonist named Alison Bechdel who runs a pygmy goat sanctuary in Vermont. As her graphic memoir about her taxidermist father gets adapted into a successful TV series, Alison grapples with capitalism and privilege in a climate-change-ravaged world on the brink of civil war. 'House of Beth' by Kerry Cullen A new entry into a burgeoning 'tradwife horror' subgenre, 'House of Beth' is about a young woman, Cassie, escaping from her life to her suburban hometown after a gutting breakup and a horrific work incident. She reconnects with her high school best friend Eli, now a widowed father, and quickly slides into his life as his new wife and stepmother to his children. But there's something eerie beneath the picturesque life, including gory, haunting visions and the shadow of Eli's late wife. 'Immortal Consequences' by I.V. Marie 'Immortal Consequences' is a new, fast-paced YA dark academia fantasy centered on six students competing to change their fate. Blackwood Academy is an enchanted boarding school that straddles the realms of life and death, and students can only leave by being the sole victor of the Decennial tournament. But this time around, they're not the only ones competing. 'Typewriter Beach' by Meg Waite Clayton This historical fiction from the author of 'The Race for Paris' follows an unlikely friendship between Léon Chazan, a blacklisted screenwriter, and Isabella Giori, a young actress hoping to be Alfred Hitchcock's new star. 'Typewriter Beach' is about women's mistreatment in Hollywood, McCarthy-era Los Angeles and the hunt to discover a family legacy. 'A Resistance of Witches' by Morgan Ryan A World War II historical fiction with a twist of magic, 'A Resistance of Witches' is about a coven of British witches trying to best Hitler and his armies by tracking down magical relics that could win the war. After a Nazi witch infiltrates the Royal Academy of Witches, the unassuming Lydia Polk takes the mission into her own hands. She'll have to travel through occupied France with unlikely allies, avoiding natural and supernatural enemies to find the grimoire. 'The Satisfaction Café' by Kathy Wang 'The Satisfaction Café' is a character study about unexpected life paths and found family. Joan Liang's life has taken twists she never anticipated – she ended up in the U.S. when her older brothers were meant to live abroad, her first marriage ended in disaster (see: a stabbing) and she's now married to a much older, wealthy man with children. As she ages, she seeks a new change and opens a third space for lonely people to find connection. 'Night Watcher' by Daphne Woolsoncroft Thriller 'Night Watcher' follows a late-night radio host who listens to hauntings for a living, but finds herself the subject of one of the stories. Nola Strate encountered notorious serial killer the Hiding Man as a child, though it's a story she's never told on Night Watch. But after a series of chilling coincidences, Nola becomes convinced the killer is back to get her. With no help from the police and evidence pointing to her father (the original Night Watch host), she'll have to turn to her faithful listeners to unmask the Hiding Man. 'How Freaking Romantic' by Emily Harding Looking for a new enemies-to-lovers romance for your summer? Try 'How Freaking Romantic.' Lawyer Bea Nilsson's best friends are getting divorced, and after she picks a side, she storms into the office of attorney Nathan Asher determined to sway the alimony petition. It's loathe at first sight. Everything changes when Nathan turns out to be her new colleague at NYU Law and uncomfortable truths about her friends' divorce come to light. Katy Perry Was Spotted on Three-Stop Date With Justin Trudeau

THE RUNDOWN Pop star Katy Perry has had a prolific career as a musical artist, with a discography so iconic it even took her to outer space. On earth, she's also made quite a few conquests. Perry has had some very high-profile romances throughout the 2000s, with love affairs that inspired her own music as well as the music of others (ahem, John Mayer). And just this week, she was seen out with Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau, expanding her romantic reach into politics. Read all about this artist and muse below. Here's Perry's complete dating history so far. Actor Johnny Lewis was known for his roles on The O.C. and Sons of Anarchy and for dating Perry for about 18 months in 2006. It was before Perry's career really took off, leaving their relationship fairly unreported. Lewis died in Los Angeles in 2012. Perry dated the lead singer of the popular band Gym Class Heroes, Travie McCoy, in 2008 into 2009. She broke up with him after less than a year, apparently via email. In 2012, McCoy shared that his drug use likely contributed to the break up, but he added that the email 'destroyed him.' 'It started off with 'I love you so much I hate to do this,'' he said. 'Someone that you are ready to spend the rest of your life with sends you a fucking email just shitting on your whole parade. It destroyed me.' After McCoy, Perry had another fling with musical artist Josh Groban. They broke up and remained friends. He was supposedly surprised when she later wrote a song about him titled 'The One That Got Away.' On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he was asked about being her muse and replied, 'We did [date]. We were both very private, and so we realized we were better as friends. And we've been very, very good friends to this day. She's the best. But, I was not expecting that. That was a double take and a spit out my coffee when I saw that.' Perry met comedian Russell Brand at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. They got married in 2010 and then divorced a little over a year later. Perry told Vogue in 2013, 'At first when I met him, he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they're like, 'I can't handle the equalness.' He didn't like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011.' In 2012, E! reported that Perry was seen holding hands at Coachella with the Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, but there's no account of why their relationship ended. Perry and musician John Mayer dated off-and-on from around 2012 to about 2015. However, it was reported as early as 2010 that Mayer had been trying to hook up with Perry, and they even met for what sounds like a date just before she ended up with Brand. They broke up for the first time in 2013, and a source told E! at the time, 'John still very much loves [Katy] and has feelings for her. It was just going to be too much with what was on his plate.' In March 2013, she told ELLE U.K., 'I realized I could lose the person I loved, and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another. In relationships, it was hard for me to speak up and set boundaries. I think a lot of that was to do with the fear of loss.' She added, 'I think a lot of that was to do with the fear of loss. The men I have gone for are challenging, yes, but they're also wildly intelligent and poetic. I'm not interested in taming anyone. I'm pretty wild myself.' That June, Perry told Vogue, 'I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.' Mayer got the message, because they were dating again by the end of that month. Over the next few years, there were lots of reports about them breaking up and getting back together, with sightings as late as July 2015. But they ultimately split for good that year. In a 2017 interview with the New York Times, Mayer admitted his song 'Still Feel Like Your Man' is about Perry, saying, 'Who else would I be thinking about? And by the way, it's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it's like, give me this, people.' In April 2014, during one of her off periods with Mayer, Perry was linked to Diplo. They were seen at Coachella together that month, but it was a brief fling. In 2017, she ranked him as her third best celebrity lover during a James Corden interview (after John Mayer and Orlando Bloom), to which he tweeted, 'I don't even remember having sex.' Perry and Bloom were first noted as being flirty friends at the 2016 Golden Globe awards, though they had met years earlier. They dated for about a year before splitting up in February 2017, releasing a statement to People saying, 'Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time.' They remained friends, which Perry passionately tweeted about that same year. Friendship blossomed again into something more. and they reconciled in 2018. A source told People in March that year, 'They are dating but not necessarily putting a label on it. They are not girlfriend and boyfriend. They do seem very happy together though.' In 2019, on Valentine's Day, they got engaged. And in August 2020, they welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove. In 2024, Perry opened up in a Call Her Daddy interview about why it took them so long to settle into a relationship, saying, 'We weren't really in it from day one. He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work.' She added, 'He wasn't playing that cat-mouse game anymore. I was like, 'This is boring. I'm moving on.' I was so used to this push-pull. I was playing games.' The couple made their last public appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March 2025, and rumors began circulating that they had split again. In June 2025, a source told Us Weekly, 'Katy and Orlando have split, but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.' The insider added that the breakup was 'a long time coming,' and that they had been living apart since Perry went on tour, because things 'have been tense for months.' The former couple released a statement on July 3 to People, reading: 'Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.' In July 2025, TMZ reported that Perry had been seen on what looked like a dinner date with politician Justin Trudeau. The former Canadian prime minister was with the pop star at Le Violon, in Montréal, on July 28. Perry's tour is currently taking her through Canada. Trudeau separated from his former wife, Sophie, in 2023.

Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has dinner with singer Katy Perry in Montreal

Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry had dinner together in Montreal this week. A communications consultant for the restaurant Le Violon confirmed Tuesday that the former prime minister and the singer spent about two hours at the fine-dining spot Monday evening. Photos of the meetup published by TMZ sparked speculation of a budding romance. Samantha Jin said the pair kept to themselves and neither the staff nor other patrons approached them for a photo. 'We kind of got the vibe that they were a little more chill,' she said. Jin added that there was no indication of romance in the air, noting: 'No visual signs of PDA or anything.' The report about the dinner first appeared on TMZ, which posted video of Trudeau and Perry in animated conversation at the eatery. Perry recently split from longtime partner Orlando Bloom and is on tour with stops including Ottawa on Tuesday, Montreal on Wednesday, Quebec City on Friday, and two dates in Toronto next week. Trudeau and his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire separated in 2023. During the meal, Jin said security watched from the bar as the pair noshed on a chef's menu featuring a range of appetizers including tuna, beef tartare, lobster and asparagus, with lamb as their main course. Jin said Chef Danny Smiles stopped by their table to say hello, and before heading out, they came into the kitchen to thank the team. A spokeswoman for Trudeau didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokeswoman for Perry wasn't immediately available for comment. Trudeau announced his resignation earlier this year after nearly a decade in power. His father, late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, was a bachelor when he became prime minister. He dated actresses Barbra Streisand and Kim Cattrall and married a 22-year-old woman while in office at age 51. Born and raised in California, Perry is a 13-time Grammy Award nominee. She helped usher in the sound of '00s pop, quickly becoming one of the bestselling artists of all time for her campy, big, belting anthems. She has released seven studio albums, most notably 2010's sugar-sweet 'Teenage Dream.' The album produced five No. 1s that tied a record set by Michael Jackson's 1987 album 'Bad.'
