Naked cyclists are taking over the streets this weekend for a protest against oil consumption that also highlights body freedom and cyclists rights.
Back in town for its 21st edition, this unique cycling event combines activism, awareness, and body positivity, bringing together people from all walks of life for an unforgettable cycling experience.
By cycling naked, participants show their commitment to reducing fossil fuel consumption, highlighting the vulnerability of cyclists on roads, encouraging motorists to be more aware of alternative modes of transportation, and celebrating body diversity and self-acceptance.
Organizers caution cyclists to check their tire pressure, brakes, and bike chains to make sure everything is working properly—and to bring sunscreen, water, a backpack or bicycle bag for clothes and personal belongings, and a small towel to sit in the park (or on the saddle).
For the night ride, front and back lights are suggested.
The ride organizers also encourage participants to bring banners, music, and decorate their bikes. Horns, bells and good moods are welcome!
Bonus: body painting will be also available.

Yes, you read that right – from Clapham Junction to Hackney Wick, they'll be completely, utterly, full-frontally in the nude. The World Naked Bike Ride is an event that has been happening since 2004. It's purpose is five-fold: protest against the global dependency on oil, curb car culture, obtain real rights for cyclists, demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets and celebrate body freedom. When is the World Naked Bike Ride happening in London? The 2025 edition of the World Naked Bike Ride is happening on Saturday, June 14. Start times vary depending on where you choose to start from – more on that below. Do I need to sign up? Nope. It's completely free to take part in.
