This Life hit our screens in 1996 on BBC Two and went on to become a huge fan favourite.
The TV drama, created by Amy Jenkins, went on to have two series which broadcast between 996 and 1997.
It followed the lives of five law graduates trying to navigate their lives after university, played by Amita Dhiri, Jack Davenport, Andrew Lincoln, Jason Hughes and Daniela Nardini.
Some of the star-studded cast decided to stick with their acting, but Daniela ended up doing something totally different.
Scottish actress Daniela played Anna Forbes in the hit show and went on to receive a BAFTA for Best Actress in 1998.
She reprised her role for the TV movie This Life +10 in 2006 to celebrate the show's 10 year anniversary.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
After This Life, Daniela landed roles in the likes of Quite Ugly One Morning, Sirens, Lewis, Vera and Waterloo Road.
But nowadays she is doing something very different.
Daniela is now a qualified and practicing psychotherapist.
She also has her own CBT practice in Glasgow, Scotland.
Her profile on Psychology Today reads: 'I have worked as an actress for over 35 years.
'This has been an invaluable education for me to study what it is to be human and how we can all suffer at times and feel misunderstood and lonely.
'I myself have struggled at times.
'My practice involves helping you gain insight, clarity and believe it or not humour at times.
'I don't shock easily so I won't judge.'
It adds: 'I can help firstly by listening to you.
'Often we feel unheard or feel shame because we are struggling.
'I am here to listen without judgement and to offer you compassion and kindness.
'Together we can work out a plan that will help you feel more in control and able to make the changes you want to happen as well as working at your own pace. '
Her types of therapy include acceptance and commitment, cognitive behavioural, compassion focused, creative therapy, person-centered and positive psychology.
Daniela's top specialties include depression, anxiety and behavioural issues, and has expertise in addiction, cancer, divorce, family conflict and parenting.
The actress can use the tough times in her life to resonate with others after losing her father in 2015, followed by a divorce and a cancer diagnosis in 2018.
Back in 2020 Daniela opened up to us about the 'worst five years of her life'.
She said: 'I went through a very dark period.
'Sometimes I wonder if it was all the emotional stuff I was going through that caused my cancer.
'A couple of years down the road, I now feel as if I've emerged stronger and a better person really.
'Anna would be proud.'
Speaking about This Life, she added: 'I love that people still enjoy the series.
'But This Life feels like another life now. It was very exciting and intoxicating at the time.
'We all got quite famous through it, quickly, which was a shock and a little bit terrifying.
'I don't miss any of it though.
'I'm glad I experienced it but I don't crave it. What I do crave is good work. It's quite hard to find work that excites you and speaks to you.

Lindsay Lohan comes full circle with 'Freakier Friday'

LONDON, July 31 (Reuters) - Lindsay Lohan says she drew upon her own experiences of motherhood for "Freakier Friday", the highly-anticipated sequel to her hit 2003 movie "Freaky Friday". Lohan, 39, welcomed her first child in 2023, a year before the Disney movie was filmed. "It felt full circle for me, and also the timing was pretty impeccable considering that I'm a new mom and I was able to bring being a mom into the character," Lohan said at the film's London premiere on Thursday. "It's the first time I'm able to do that on screen." "Freaky Friday", with a reported budget of $26 million, was a surprise hit, making over $160 million worldwide and obtaining a cult following. The 2025 follow-up sees Lohan and actress Jamie Lee Curtis reprising the roles of mother and daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman. Twenty years on, Anna is a single parent to tomboy teen daughter Harper, played by Julia Butters. Their relationship comes under stress when Anna falls for Eric (Manny Jacinto), the father of Harper's new British classmate Lily (Sophia Hammons), and they decide to get married. The future stepsisters, with a mutual dislike for one another, decide to intervene. While the 2003 film saw a body swap between Tess and Anna, things get "freakier" this time around with Tess and Anna switching bodies with Lily and Harper. Before signing on to the sequel, Lohan ensured that Anna returned as a multi-faceted and relatable character. "It was important to me that we explained who Anna is today and how she's evolved and the dynamic between her and her daughter as she's a single working mom. There are some basic points that I wanted to get across because I want people to see the movie and find a piece of it that they can grab onto and be like, 'okay, I get that'," she said. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the movie also sees actor Chad Michael Murray reprising the role of young Anna's love interest, Jake. Shooting the sequel was a "lovefest", said Murray. "It was the same, but better. It felt very much like connective tissue to the first movie. Everyone loved going to work and no one wanted to go home." "Freakier Friday" marks Lohan's big screen return. "It's obviously nerve-wracking because you want it to be great and you want people to love what you do," she said. "As long as people are enjoying what I'm doing and it's making them happy, then I feel like I'm doing my job and that's what I'm here to do." "Freakier Friday" begins its global cinematic rollout on August 6.

EastEnders star set to make surprise return to the soap three years after leaving Albert Square

An EastEnders star is reportedly set to make surprise return to the soap three years after leaving Albert Square. The character, who first set foot in Albert Square back in 2018 had a spell of intense storylines over the years. Stuart Highway will make an appearance in Walford for a 'limited period,' but is set to cause some drama, according to The Sun. Played by Ricky Champ, 45, he left the soap in 2022 alongside his on-screen wife Rainie Cross (played by Tanya Franks). Stuarts major stories included confessing to accidentally killing DI Steve Thompson (Philip Wright) - who later turned out be alive. He also admitted to being a vigilante paedophile hunter which stemmed from being sexually abused as a child. Stuart was at the centre of a father's post-natal depression storyline, with the character struggling to bond with his baby Roland. He had struggled with his mental health after his diagnosis with breast cancer and had trouble adjusting to parenthood after he and wife Rainie (Tanya Franks) tried for a child for a long time. 'In EastEnders I went from villain to hero to dad,' he told Digital Spy at the time of his exit. 'It was amazing, doing that for five years with a character's arc. It felt weird leaving him,' he admitted. At the time Ricky didn't rule out a return to the soap someday, as he claimed that anything was possible. 'He didn't die. He rode off into the sunset. I think he's somewhere in the North Circular living with Rainie,' he said of his character. Outside of EastEnders, Ricky's additional ventures include his role as Paul Parker in the BBC Three sitcom Him & Her and a Games Of Thrones appearance as Gatins. Daily Mail has contacted the BBC for comment. 'In EastEnders I went from villain to hero to dad,' he told Digital Spy at the time of his exit in 2022 but he will be back for a 'limited period' Elsewhere, an EastEnders legend is facing the sack after a whopping 40 years in job - and fans of the BBC soap aren't happy about it. Beloved character Tracey, who is played by actress Jane Slaughter, has been on the show since 1985. Over the years the barmaid, who rarely has any speaking lines, has become a huge fan favourite while serving many punters at the Queen Vic. But a recent episode of EastEnders raised a few alarm bells with viewers after Kat Slater's (Jessie Wallace) nephew Freddie (Bobby Brazier) put forward the idea of working for her and take over from Tracey. Kat and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) became the new owners of the pub earlier this month, after taking over from Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). During Tuesday's instalment of the BBC show, Freddie asked for a job, but was told that they didn't have enough money for him to join the team behind the bar. Freddie went on to tell Alfie and Kat that he would be able to work for half of what Tracey is currently paid. It's no wonder that the bartender is such a popular character on the show, having been on EastEnders since the very beginning. Tracey appeared on the very first episode back in 1985. She is the longest-serving character to ever take part in the popular programme having no breaks or exits. Although the character rarely says a word on the show, back in 2022 she made a shocking revelation about Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden). She confessed that Phil was the 'best sex she's ever had'
