ALBAWABA - One of the socks worn by American superstar Michael Jackson during his concert in Nice, France, back on June 27, 1997, was sold at a high price at an auction on Wednesday, leaving dozens of fans shocked.
The Michael Jackson sock, initially estimated at between $3,400 and $4,500, was sold for $8,822 at a Benim auction house.
The "iconic" piece was found after the concert near the King of Pop's dressing rooms in Nice by one of the technicians working on site, explained Aurore Elie, auction commissioner at the Hôtel des ventes de Nîmes auction house.
It is worth noting that the sock, worn by the "King of Pop", was previously offered for sale at auction on July 21, but did not find a buyer.

Youmi Beauty wedding begins in Lake Como with Elissa and Haifa Wehbe set to perform

ALBAWABA - Youmi Beauty stuns ahead of her Lake Como wedding celebration tomorrow. Lebanese beauty blogger Youmi Beauty is getting ready for her wedding tomorrow, August 7, which will take place on Lake Como in Italy. There will be singing stars Elissa and Haifa Wehbe at the event. Before the wedding, Youmi Beauty shared a bunch of pictures and videos of the preparations with her Instagram followers. In them, she showed off the gifts she had made for the guests that were themed to match the event. Youmi Beauty Instagram profile As one of the gifts, there was a beautiful folding hand fan with the wedding date, the initials "G" and "Y," and a picture of the villa where the service will take place. As a fancy souvenir of the event, each guest also got a tote bag with the same pattern and the words "Lake Como" engraved on the bottom. Youmi Beauty Instagram profile Lake Como is a popular place for high-class weddings because of its beautiful scenery and historic houses, which show how much the bride wants her ceremony to be an unforgettable experience. Based on the colors of the sunset, Youmi Beauty picked a beautiful orange dress with yellow accents. The dress had a geometric, structured waist. The dress had no straps and was made of shiny fabric covered in sparkles, which made it look soft, flowy, and girly. Yomi added a touch of luxury with simple diamond jewelry that kept the look's beauty. Her husband, on the other hand, wore a modern beige suit and a collar and brooch made of white gold and diamonds. Wassim Marqus from Pace & Luce gave Youmi Beauty a retro haircut with a beautiful side part that made her look great. A beauty artist named Bassam Fattouh did her makeup, which had warm bronze accents and apricot shades that went well with her dress. The smoke in her eyes made her look even more beautiful. At the pre-wedding party, there were a lot of fashion-forward people who were competing to look their best. Their choices showed that they had good taste and were stylish.
