Steelers fans who have kept up to date on recent rumors, speculation, and reports know this date is the predicted announcement of the brand-new throwback jerseys — ones that reportedly pays homage to the 1960s throwback uniforms worn from 2007 to 2011.

Previously, Steelers President Art Rooney II announced the new throwback jerseys would be worn against the Green Bay Packers — later confirmed to be in Week 8 on Sunday Night Football.
