Ex-Steelers DT blames 'tainted supplement' for PED violation, significant NFL suspension
Former Steeler-turned-Bills DT Larry Ogunjobi has been suspended six games by the NFL for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Ogunjobi wasn't the only Bills player reported to be suspended, however, as his teammate EDGE Michael Hoecht will also miss six regular-season games for his own PED violation.
The former Steelers defensive lineman addressed the matter, blaming it on a "tainted supplement" but acknowledging that all NFL players are responsible for knowing what they put in their bodies. Ogunjobi added that he learned about the violation while finalizing his one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills—yet was welcomed with open arms despite the suspension.
Ogunjobi was one of the most likely roster cuts for the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason—and it's safe to say the Steel City dodged a bullet in a huge way, with his suspension news coming just four days later.

Both sides worked things out three years ago, and he continued to be a foundational piece of the organization after. McLaurin has been a primary weapon in the Commanders' offense for years now and is among the most consistently productive receivers in the NFL. McLaurin is coming off a 2024 campaign where he caught a career-high 13 touchdowns along with racking up his fifth-straight 1,000-yard season. At this point, the Commanders aren't in a position to let things end any other way than re-signing McLaurin. With Jayden Daniels quickly emerging as a premiere quarterback in the NFL, Washington is looking to compete right away. They added another high-end talent in Deebo Samuel this offseason, but it would be for not if McLuarin continues to hold out. Seeing that McLaurin and Daniels had an instant connection last year, Washington should be looking to get him back in the mix as soon as possible. With minicamp over now, the Commanders have about six weeks to ink McLaurin to a new deal before training camp begins.

You know, I want to give it a good run. I got a bad taste in my mouth about how I ended the year and how well I was playing, and how accountable I was for the people around me." It will be interesting to see what the 2025 season has in store for Kelce and the Chiefs. He's working hard to increase his individual performance, and dropping 25 pounds could help him become a much more dynamic weapon for Patrick Mahomes.
