According to the latest leak, Apple is planning a $50 price hike for the iPhone 17 Pro model.
iPhone 17 Pro vs iPhone 16 Pro: Price
The iPhone 17 Pro's $1,049 price tag, using Apple's typical higher markup for Pro devices, would likely put it around Rs 1,21,900 in India.

The iPhone 17 Pro is rumoured to feature a new vapor chamber cooling system for better heat management during heavy use.
New cooling system?
Interestingly, Apple may switch back to an aluminum frame for the iPhone 17 Pro, moving away from the premium Grade 5 titanium used in the 16 Pro. While this could help with weight reduction, it may be seen as a step down in terms of durability and finish.

The iPhone 17 Pro is likely to get a major redesign at the back, with leaks hinting at a large rectangular camera module that spans almost edge-to-edge, a change from the square layout seen on the iPhone 16 Pro.
A fresh look?

The iPhone 17 Pro could feature a 48MP telephoto sensor, replacing the 12MP periscope zoom camera used in the iPhone 16 Pro. However, optical zoom is said to be limited to 3.5x this time, slightly lower than the 5x zoom capability of the 16 Pro.

Apple is expected to bump up the RAM to 12GB on the iPhone 17 Pro, up from 8GB on the iPhone 16 Pro. This should improve multitasking and boost performance during heavy tasks like gaming or video editing.

Apple is gearing up for its annual September launch event, where the tech giant is expected to launch the much-anticipated iPhone 17 series along with iOS 26. However, just weeks before Apple's annual launch event, the company seems to have leaked its own secrets, revealing details about several products currently in development. The Internal identifiers, first spotted by MacRumors, point to updates across seven major categories, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, and Vision Pro. Apple's software code leak has revealed upgrades across iPhone, iPad, Mac and more.(Bloomberg) HomePod mini The code suggests Apple is working on a new HomePod mini, listed under the codename B525. It reportedly uses the T8310 architecture, the same design as recent Apple Watch models. Compared to the current version powered by the S5 chip, the next model is expected to bring a dual-core CPU and Neural Engine for improved processing and audio features. Elon Musk Says Grok Imagine Will Give Users 'Superhuman Imagination Powers'

The comment comes just as Musk's AI company, xAI, expands access to Grok Imagine beyond Apple devices. Initially limited to iOS users, the feature is now available for free on Android as well, although Musk has clarified that this free access will only be temporary. Elon Musk has once again stirred debate in the world of artificial intelligence with bold remarks about his AI-powered creativity tool, Grok Imagine. In a recent post on X, the billionaire entrepreneur declared, 'The goal of Grok Imagine is to give you superhuman imagination powers.' What Grok Imagine Offers Grok Imagine is designed to simplify the process of creating AI-generated photos and short videos. Users can type or speak a prompt, or even upload a photo, and within seconds the system generates a new image. With just a tap on the 'Make video' option, those images can be animated into short clips. The platform offers four distinct video creation modes—Normal, Fun, Custom, and the more controversial 'Spicy' mode. While the Spicy option allows partial nudity and sexually suggestive imagery, Musk's team has put boundaries in place. Reports suggest that Grok Imagine blocks politically sensitive or extreme requests, such as attempts to create depictions of public figures in compromising scenarios. Instead, it provides toned-down alternatives. Usage and Reception According to Musk, Grok Imagine has already been used to generate over 44 million images, and that number continues to climb. Early adopters have praised the tool for its speed, easy-to-use interface, and interactive features. The ability to create endless variations with minimal effort has also added to its appeal. Still, the system is far from flawless. Human-like images often fall into the 'uncanny valley,' with skin textures appearing cartoonish or unnatural. Despite these limitations, Grok Imagine has been recognized as a serious competitor to existing AI visual platforms, including OpenAI's ChatGPT tools and Google's Gemini suite. A Growing Rivalry in AI Creativity Musk's entry into the crowded AI generation market highlights his ongoing rivalry with OpenAI, the company he co-founded but later parted ways with. By emphasizing speed, accessibility, and interactive elements, Grok Imagine is carving out its niche. The temporary rollout of free access on Android is seen as another way to lure users into experimenting with the platform. The Future of Grok Imagine In classic Musk fashion, bold promises accompany the release. He has pledged that Grok Imagine will continuously improve, saying, 'It will get better every day.' With its rapid growth and controversial features, the tool has already become a flashpoint in discussions about creativity, ethics, and the boundaries of AI-generated content. Whether Grok Imagine truly delivers 'superhuman imagination powers' remains to be seen. But one thing is clear—the tool has already captured global attention, sparking both excitement and debate about the role of artificial intelligence in human creativity.

Apple India leases 2.7 lakh sq ft of office space in Bengaluru, likely to be one of the largest single-tenant office leases in the city

Apple India Private Limited has signed a 10-year lease for a 2.7 lakh square foot office space in Bengaluru. According to a report by Business Standard, the real estate deal, valued at a total of Rs 1,010 crore, marks a major expansion for Apple in India. The new office, located in Embassy Zenith on Sankey Road in the upscale Vasanth Nagar area, is set to be Apple's second and potentially largest office in India's tech hub. Industry experts suggest it could accommodate over 1,200 employees and may be one of the largest single-tenant office leases in Bengaluru's commercial real estate market. Apple India Bengaluru office lease details and financials Citing lease documents from real estate data firm Propstack, the report said that Apple will occupy the 5th through 13th floors of the building. The agreement covers a carpet area of 196,179 sq ft, or 268,737 sq ft when including chargeable areas. The monthly rent is reportedly set at Rs 6.315 crore, which works out to an effective rate of Rs 235 per square foot. A 4.5% annual escalation clause is included in the lease, ensuring a steady increase in rent over the 10-year term. To secure the agreement, Apple paid a security deposit of Rs 31.57 crore. In addition to the base rent, the total outlay of Rs 1,010 crore covers common area maintenance (CAM) fees and charges for car parking. The building is owned by Mac Charles (India) Limited, an affiliate of the Embassy Group. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Could This NEW Collagen Blend Finally Reduce Your Cellulite? If this expansion proceeds, Apple's total office space in Embassy Zenith would be close to 4 lakh sq ft. This move aligns with Apple's broader strategy to scale up its presence in India, which includes increasing local production and opening new retail stores. The company, which launched its first two flagship retail stores in Mumbai and Delhi in 2023, has plans for four more stores in Bengaluru and Pune. This new lease comes after Apple's 2021 agreement for a 1.16 lakh sq ft space in Prestige Minsk Square, also in central Bengaluru, where operations began in 2023. Apple has also recently secured retail spaces in Oberoi Sky City Mall in Borivali, Mumbai, and Batrayanpura, Bengaluru. AI Masterclass for Students. Upskill Young Ones Today!– Join Now
