A seven-member all-party delegation will visit key partner nations, including UN Security Council members, this month to highlight Operation Sindoor and India's stance against cross-border terrorism
NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule on Saturday expressed her gratitude after being appointed to the all-party delegation representing India globally to convey the country's message on terrorism.
In a tweet, Sule said, "I am honoured to join the all-party delegation representing India on the global stage. I humbly accept this responsibility and thank Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, Minister Kiren Rijiju ji, and the Ministry of External Affairs."
She also thanked her constituents, stating, "I am deeply grateful to the people of Baramati Lok Sabha constituency for your continued support."
Sule added, "Our mission is to convey India's united and unwavering message of zero tolerance against terrorism. We stand as one nation--proud, strong, and unwavering. Jai Hind!"
A seven-member all-party delegation is set to visit key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council, later this month in the context of Operation Sindoor and India's continued fight against cross-border terrorism.

Last Updated: Pakistan reportedly faces a severe water crisis with low dam levels, putting its kharif crop season on the danger. This comes as India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty. A couple of days after Minister of State for Environment Kirti Vardhan Singh said Pakistan was violating the Indus Water Treaty through terrorism, a report has claimed the neighbouring country was in a crop-sowing crisis since dams there were drying out. According to a report with The Times Of India, water level in two key dams in Pakistan, Mangla on River Jhelum and Tarbela on Indus, are running low, driving Pakistan to stare at a bleak kharif sowing season. Following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 people, India announced the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty as part of several punitive measures against Pakistan. The Indus Waters Treaty, signed in 1960 between India and Pakistan with the World Bank as a signatory, governs the sharing of the Indus River system's waters between the two countries. According to the report, the latest estimates by Pakistan's Indus River System Authority, the country is already facing an overall shortage of 21 per cent in water flow and nearly 50 per cent in live storage from the two key dams. The condition probably drove Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to say at the International Conference on Glaciers' Preservation that his country would not allow India to cross the red line by holding the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance and endangering millions of lives for narrow political gains. 'India's unilateral and illegal decision to hold in abeyance the Indus Waters Treaty, which governs the sharing of the Indus Basin's water, is deeply regrettable," Pakistani newspaper Dawn quoted Sharif as saying. Last week, India reiterated that any engagement with Pakistan will only be bilateral; terror and talks cannot go together; and that the Indus Waters Treaty will remain in abeyance until Pakistan 'credibly and irrevocably abjures" its support for cross-border terrorism. The Ministry of External Affairs' strong response came at a time when Pakistan, pushed on the backfoot by India's decisive 'Operation Sindoor', has suddenly started talking about its intent on having peace talks with India. Paraguay President begins first state visit to India with ceremonial welcome
President of Paraguay, Santiago Pena Palacios, arrived in New Delhi on his first state Visit to India and was accorded a ceremonial welcome along with a Guard of Honour at Palam Air Force Station. The President was warmly received by Minister of State Harsh Vardhan Malhotra, highlighting the strong bilateral ties between the two countries. Sharing an update on X, Randhir Jaiswal from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) welcomed President Santiago Pena Palacios of Paraguay as he arrived in New Delhi for his first state Visit to India. In his tweet, Mr. Jaiswal wrote, "Bienvenido, President @SantiPenap! President @SantiPenap of Paraguay has arrived in New Delhi on his first State Visit to India, to a ceremonial welcome & Guard of Honour. At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Paraguayan President will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Ministers, senior officials, and business representatives. During the visit, President Pena is set to hold high-level talks with Prime Minister Modi and other senior leaders to review the entire gamut of bilateral relations. Prime Minister Modi will host a lunch in his honour, while President Droupadi Murmu is expected to meet him and host a banquet. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar are also scheduled to call on the visiting dignitary. Following the Delhi visit, President Pena will travel to Mumbai to engage with State political leadership, business and industry representatives, startups, innovators, and technology leaders. The state Visit provides an opportunity to comprehensively review bilateral ties and discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest. India and Paraguay have enjoyed warm and friendly relations since establishing diplomatic ties on September 13, 1961. Cooperation between the two countries spans trade, agriculture, health, pharmaceuticals, and information technology sectors. Paraguay is an important trading partner for India in Latin America, with several Indian companies active in Paraguay's automobile and pharmaceutical sectors. Paraguayan companies, mainly through joint ventures, also have a presence in India, strengthening economic ties. Both nations share common views on international issues, including United Nations reforms, climate change, renewable energy, and combating terrorism.

Likening Raj's rhetoric to that of an enemy agent, BJP said that it's more shameful when a good character actor, who preaches so many things on screen, acts like a villain in real life. What Prakash Raj Said? In a follow-up post, he questioned, 'But why will women take #Sindoor from this old man?", a comment many saw as a personal dig at PM Modi's age and marital status. BJP Reacts BJP leader NV Subhash condemned Prakash Raj's remarks as 'deeply shameful" and 'disrespectful" to Indian women. He urged the actor to take back his comments saying that such remarks doesn't go well with his stature. 'This kind of statement doesn't go very well with the versatile actor, or his stature, always talking about Modi, belittling the Indian Army, democratic values of society, I expect him to withdraw his words, because this is a direct attack on women. It is more shameful that a good, character actor, when he preaches so many things on celluloid, but when he comes to real life, he is like a villain," he said as quoted by news agency PTI. Subhash further likened the actor to an ISI agent or a traitor over his 'Sindoor' comment. 'I think he is more dangerous than an ISI agent, or a traitor who always wants to make hole in democratic values. He has his mother, sister, he should not make such statements against women… He should immediately withdraw his words," he added. Operation Sindoor India launched 'precision strikes" under Operation Sindoor on nine terror targets in Pakistan and PoK following the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. The strikes killed over 100 terrorists including 10 family members of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar and four close aides. Targets included Jaish's Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Sarjal camp in Tehra Kalan, Markaz Abbas in Kotli, and the Syedna Bilal camp in Muzaffarabad. Lashkar's strongholds — Markaz Taiba in Murdike, Markaz Ahle Hadith in Barnala, and Shwawai Nalla camp in Muzaffarabad — were also hit. Hizbul Mujahideen's facilities at Makaz Raheel Shahid in Kotli and Mehmoona Joya in Sialkot were among those targeted.
