The Greek will be back in action later today when she takes on Britain's Emma Raducanu in the quarter-finals.
Raducanu possesses a 3-0 record over Sakkari, having beaten her in the semi-finals on the way to winning the US Open in 2021.

The pair also met at Wimbledon last year, with the Brit favourite triumphing 6-2 6-3.
Raducanu booked her spot in the last eight with a brilliant 6-4 6-2 win over four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka.
After the match, the 22-year-old said: "I'm really pleased with that match.
"I thought that it was pretty mature, and I was holding onto my own service games really well. I knew going into the match that Naomi has been playing good, loves the hard court.
"So I was going to have to play well and manage my own service games, because she's very dangerous, hits a big ball, and serves extremely well. Very pleased with how I managed all the situations there.
"Naomi is pure speed, which is very difficult to deal with, especially on these courts, where it's very lively. It was extremely important to start the point well on my serve."

'A WOMAN has revealed what it's like having a husband who also has another wife. Tami Winder met her husband Colton 13 years ago, and the pair have been married for 12 years. They remained a duo for a number of years before meeting Sophie, who became Colton's second wife. Both 'sister wives' have a physical relationship with Colton, but are not intimate with each other. For the first two years of their plural marriage, Sophie and Tami lived separately, so that they could ease into polygamy. When they finally all moved in together, Sophie and Tami realised that they didn't know each other at all, and struggled to adapt to their clashing personalities. This led to a number of misunderstandings, with Colton revealing that he sometimes felt like he was "standing in the middle of a tornado." Cowboy Colton now spends alternate nights with his two wives, which they both agree is one of the "hardest" parts of the marriage. Tami revealed that at times she feels like she is "falling short" as a wife, which is why Colton has a second wife. However, he insisted that his first wife is "perfect" the way she is. Tami said that she often feels jealous in the relationship, especially when Colton goes on a date with Sophie. First Dates hosts its very first throuple in new series However, she added that if she communicates these feelings to Colton and Sophie, they do their best to "alleviate" her issues. Date night happens once a month, with Colton either going on a separate date with each of his wives, or the three of them going out together. Only Tami is Colton's legal wife, as plural marriage is illegal in the state of Utah, where the trio lives. "Sophie is more of a spiritual marriage", Colton explained. What is polyamory? Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties. It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple. According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship. He added that their way of life is frowned upon and that they live "outside the law." The trio have three children between them, which they all co-parent, and are aiming to continue to grow their family. Tami birthed one of the children, whilst Sophie birthed the other two. Determined to make her brood bigger, Tami is now using IVF, and revealed that she struggles with the fact that Sophie popped out two children in quick succession, whereas she has found it more difficult. "If you're sleeping with the same man, you think it's got to be something to do with you", she said. The trio agree that it can be really hard to live together, but added that it's all worth it because their children make their plural family feel "complete."

Red Bull confirm another major F1 leadership change after Christian Horner exit

Laurent Mekies is the new Red Bull F1 team principal and chief executive after Christian Horner was removed from those roles, and Helmut Marko has broken his silence on the change Red Bull have confirmed that new team principal Laurent Mekies will have "significantly reduced" responsibilities compared to predecessor Christian Horner. The Frenchman is the new man in charge at the Formula 1 team after the main Red Bull company announced Horner's exit last week. ‌ Neither the team nor its parent company have offered any reasons for the sudden management change publicly. But long-serving adviser Helmut Marko has now confirmed that "various factors" were behind the decision, most notably the team's decline in performance. ‌ "The decision was made by [chief executive of Red Bull corporate projects] Oliver Mintzlaff", the Austrian said of Horner's demise. "We informed Christian Horner of this on Tuesday in London after the Silverstone race. ‌ "At the same time, we officially thanked him for these 20 years and for these eight World Championship titles. This was the result of various factors, but above all, the performance wasn't quite as good as it could have been." Horner's position had long been under scrutiny, having lost the trust of Red Bull chiefs in Austria some time ago. He was protected by majority shareholder Chalerm Yoovidhya who gave the Brit his backing, until recently, which was the major change behind the scenes that facilitated the change of leadership. Horner had served not only as team principal but also chief executive. Austrian Red Bull officials were understood to have been uncomfortable with the amount of power wielded by Horner after 20 years in charge. Marko went on to confirm that, although Mekies also holds both TP and CEO titles, he will not be as omnipotent as Horner once was. "Fortunately, we were able to bring Laurent Mekies into the family. His responsibilities will be significantly reduced, with the main focus being on racing," he added. ‌ Mekies has admitted that his main priority in his new role is to ensure that the team keeps hold of its star asset. Max Verstappen has been strongly linked with a move to rivals Mercedes – speculation which has only intensified since Horner's exit. And the new chief is focused on making Red Bull as competitive and attractive as possible to give them the best chance of convincing the Dutchman to stay. Mekies said: "I'm sure Max wants a fast car and if we get him a fast car, I'm sure it's cancelling out all the other considerations. "So really the focus is very much to try to get to know the team as quickly as possible in order to see how we can support, how we can build the next step of competitiveness in order to get a fast car and hence to make it an easy call for Max."
