K-P launches paperless e-summary system
Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur signed the province's first official e-summary through an online platform, marking a major milestone in efforts to modernize administrative processes.
The initiative, aimed at making government operations paperless, is part of a broader digital transformation plan.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Gandapur highlighted the system's potential to enhance efficiency, save time and resources, and bring transparency to official matters.
"This initiative will not only curb bureaucratic delays but also significantly improve departmental performance," he stated. He added that the government is now moving toward digitizing note parts, official letters, notifications, and cabinet documents.
The chief minister reaffirmed his government's commitment to expanding digital services across both administrative and public service sectors, in line with the Digital Governance Roadmap. "We are working to transform K-P into a truly digital province, in accordance with the vision of Imran Khan," he emphasized.
Several public services have already been digitized as part of this ongoing transformation.

Senior officials, including the chief secretary, IG police, relevant commissioners, deputy commissioners, and the CM's information adviser, also attended. The jirga unanimously condemned terrorism and expressed a united stance against all forms of militancy. However, it strongly rejected military operations that lead to the displacement of local populations, emphasizing that 'peace cannot be achieved through such measures.' They underscored that 'restoring peace is essential for development, and once stability returns, the pace of progress will accelerate.' They made it clear that no one has demanded or been granted control over the province's mineral resources or any other assets, reaffirming the commitment to safeguarding local resources. The jirga further advised the federal government to arrange for a delegation comprising the provincial government and tribal elders to participate in ongoing negotiations with Afghanistan. They stressed that 'all necessary support and resources should be provided to this delegation to ensure effective dialogue.' Plans were also outlined for the next regional jirgas to be held in Mohmand and Bajaur districts, followed by a third jirga covering North and South Waziristan, and a final session in Kurram district. These consultations will culminate in a grand jirga chaired by the Chief Minister. Before the grand jirga convenes, influential figures from the tribal areas will be appointed to represent their communities and present actionable proposals focused on restoring peace and stability in the region. Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan, addressing the gathering, stressed that the responsibility of securing the country's borders lies with federal authorities and security agencies, while the provincial police are fully capable of addressing terrorism and law enforcement challenges within KP. Participants categorically rejected the long-standing distinction between 'good' and 'bad' Taliban and voiced firm opposition to the use of drone strikes on provincial territory.

KP CM takes exception of ‘misrepresentation' of his statement
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has expressed strong concern over the Indian government's misrepresentation of his recent statement, describing it as a deliberate attempt to deflect attention from India's longstanding involvement in sponsoring terrorism and destabilizing peace in the region. In his detailed policy statement issued here in this regard on Friday, he condemned Indian longstanding involvement in terrorism across Pakistan and the entire region, stating that India has consistently played a destabilizing role, both directly and through covert means. 'As ex-Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, I am fully aware of the ground realities,' he said. 'I am writing to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and will personally appear before it to expose what India has done, and continues to do, in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan', he added. The chief minister said that India's involvement in orchestrating terrorism in Pakistan is undeniable, particularly highlighting India's network of over a hundred consulates in Afghanistan — which, according to him, were never meant for diplomacy or trade but served as operational hubs to orchestrate terrorism within Pakistan. He vowed to expose India's role in fuelling instability, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying: 'I will go there personally and tell the whole world what India has done. I will reveal how deeply your government is involved in terrorism in Pakistan. Our entire party, led by Imran Khan, and the Pakistani nation, are united in defending our country.' He further said that India orchestrated attacks on Chinese nationals, strategic infrastructure, and other assets in Pakistan, saying that all such incidents are ultimately linked to Indian interests. FATF: Azma criticises Gandapur's ‘irresponsible' statement
LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bokhari, has strongly condemned India's use of Ali Amin Gandapur's irresponsible statement against Pakistan in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) forum, calling it both deplorable and deeply shameful for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. She said the episode not only brings disgrace to Gandapur but also reflects PTI's overall political immaturity. 'The core problem with these individuals is their chronic inability to think before speaking,' she remarked. Azma Bokhari reminded that it was Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's tireless efforts and effective diplomacy that successfully removed Pakistan from the FATF grey list. 'This achievement opened the doors for access to Western markets and created new economic opportunities with the European Union,' she added. Criticizing PTI's leadership further, she stated that the party played a major role in dragging the country toward economic instability. 'They not only staged protests against the IMF but also held demonstrations outside its headquarters and engaged in letter-writing campaigns to tarnish Pakistan's image globally,' she added. Azma emphasized that expecting national interest from PTI is pointless. 'The party's record is filled with incidents of mocking state institutions, displaying irresponsibility in matters of national security, and attempting to weaken Pakistan's global standing.' She also slammed India, saying, 'After facing defeat in conventional warfare, India is now globally isolated. The Modi regime is resorting to false propaganda in a failed attempt to launch new offensives against Pakistan.' Azma concluded that India's narrative against Pakistan at forums like FATF gains strength due to the recklessness of individuals like Gandapur, which amounts to playing with national security.
