Corrie Ndaba has left Kilmarnock to sign for Serie A side Lecce.
The 25-year-old defender has completed his move to Italy for an undisclosed fee and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
Ndaba initially joined the Rugby Park side on loan from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2023 before making the move permanent a year later.
He quickly established his position at the heart of defence and made a total of 76 appearances in two years at the club, including 38 last season.
The Irishman's last appearance in a Killie shirt came in the penalty shootout victory over Kelty Hearts in the League Group Stages earlier this month.
The Ayrshire club confirmed his departure on Monday.
A statement released on social media said: 'Everyone at Kilmarnock FC would like to thank Corrie for his outstanding contribution to the club and the way he represented Killie throughout his time in Ayrshire.
'We wish him every success in this exciting next chapter of his career in Italy.'

Sign up to Inside Welsh rugby on Substack to get exclusive news stories and insight from behind the scenes in Welsh rugby. ‌ Loosehead prop Porter was just one such topic of discussion, with his scrummaging technique called into question by fans online. The Irishman's angle in driving the scrum has been called out by fans before, but reached an apex on social media during this defeat, with some onlookers in disbelief at what he was able to get away with by referee Nika Amashukeli's whistle in the loss, but fans online are still dismayed by what he was able to get away with. Just hours after the match, one user on X shared an aerial image of Porter's scrummaging, which appeared to demonstrate his unusual driving angle. Article continues below 'Porter up to his normal tricks again yesterday," they wrote. "And the most astonishing thing is? It was the Aussies who got penalised in this scrum!' Content cannot be displayed without consent This post sparked plenty of healthy debate, with another user musing 'Not even Shane Warne got that much turn in Australia!' ‌ Another fan wrote: 'How Porter is allowed to scrummage at that angle is beyond me. Should be a penalty almost every scrum." "Andrew Porter would never win a scrum if he was forced to scrum straight," said another. "Nika allowing him to scrum skew just to get the ball out.' 'I'm sorry but Andrew Porter on those aerial views is a ****** criminal for the way he binds down to scrum," was the view of another fan. "WOW. And they are all in front of the referee!!!' ‌ But despite the fume from some, there were a few onlookers that did offer some support to Porter. Former referee Nigel Owens wrote: 'Although I am not disputing either way with you on this image, you can only make an accurate call if you see the whole sequence in motion, not just a still image.' Porter was eventually taken off just after half-time and was replaced with Ellis Genge, but some felt even his replacement was guilty of attempting to manipulate the scrum laws. Article continues below "I noticed it consistently across all three games from both Porter and Genge. To the point where it felt like they'd been deliberately coached to do it."

Ademola Lookman releases furious transfer statement after 'broken promises'

Atalanta star Ademola Lookman has been the subject of two bids from Serie A rivals Inter Milan but he's yet to get his move, prompting him to submit a transfer request Former Premier League star Ademola Lookman has handed in a transfer request at Atalanta in an effort to force a move to Inter Milan. Lookman, 27, wants to join the Serie A giants and says that he reached an agreement with Atalanta's board which would allow him to leave if they received a 'fair' offer. ‌ But the ex-Everton, Fulham and Leicester forward claims that Atalanta have 'broken promises' to him, having already sold one star player, Mateo Retegui, this summer. That's prompted Lookman to hand in a 'formal transfer request', a decision which he confirmed in a lengthy statement on social media. ‌ "There have been numerous clubs approach Atalanta in the past and I have previously always stayed loyal," part of his post read. "However, myself and the ownership of the club have been in agreement that now is the right time and the club were clear with me that if a fair offer came in they would allow me to move. ‌ "Despite now receiving an offer in alignment to what I believe had been discussed sadly the club are blocking the opportunity for reasons I do not understand. "As a result and after many months of broken promises and what I feel has been poor treatment towards me as both a human being and as a professional footballer, sadly I feel I have no choice but to speak out for what I believe is right and I feel that enough is enough. I can confirm I have now handed in a formal transfer request." Lookman joined Atalanta from German side RB Leipzig in 2022 for £9.4million. The England-born Nigeria international has scored 52 goals in 117 games for La Dea, including a first career hat-trick during their Europa League final win against Bayer Leverkusen in 2024. So far, Inter have submitted two bids for Lookman, neither of which have met Atalanta's reported £43.5m valuation. Their CEO, Luca Percassi, confirmed Inter's first offer last week but explained how Retegui's £56m departure to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah has changed their financial situation. "Lookman has been expressing his desire to leave for some time," Percassi said. "It's no secret. In all our discussions, he was a player who should have left this summer, following our club's philosophy of one sale per year. Should a Premier League club bid for Ademola Lookman? Have your say in the comments section. ‌ "But the transfer market always brings unexpected things, you know well what happened with Mateo Retegui. For Lookman, despite so much interest, there had never been anything concrete until yesterday when the first official proposal arrived. Inter is a very friendly company, I saw [president Beppe] Marotta yesterday. "We have a great friendship and professional relationship. In these days, we will evaluate with great serenity the offer we have received, and then give an answer. I can only say that the timing and exit values of Atalanta players are decided only by the club."

British & Irish Lions star's baby born in car before first match of series

British and Irish Lions centre Bundee Aki missed the birth of his fifth child with the Irishman preparing for the First Test in Australia and has revealed his wife gave birth in the car British and Irish Lions star Bundee Aki has confessed that, whilst he was playing in Australia, his wife gave birth to their fifth child in the car. ‌ The Ireland international was playing Down Under, taking part in his second Lions tour, when his wife was on her way to the hospital after she felt contractions, only for her waters to break en route. She ended up giving birth to another child whilst she was still on the road. This happened ahead of the First Test in Australia, just over a fortnight ago. ‌ The first of Aki's five children was born in hospital and the next three at home. But their latest, Aine, entered the world in the back of a car in New Zealand. His wife Kayla had headed back there to visit family whilst Aki represented the Lions. ‌ After helping the Lions end a 12 year wait for a series victory the Connacht star revealed that he was yet to meet the latest member of his offspring, something he had kept quiet throughout the tour's final few weeks. He told the BBC: "I haven't seen my family for eight weeks. I have a newborn child who I haven't met yet." Aki added: "Credit to my wife.." before going on to explain the remarkable event. He said: "It was a good day. I was in the team hotel. I knew we were overdue. The missus calls me and she's like, 'My water hasn't broken but I'm going to the hospital, I'm feeling contractions'. We were getting ready for the team meeting pre-match and she calls back and says she's now on the way to the hospital. "Five minutes later, she sends a photo - her water had broken. I was like, 'Cool, OK, are you almost there?' This is like 30 or 40 minutes away from the hospital. I said, 'You'll be all right, Mum is there'. Ten minutes later, she video calls. I was like, 'What's going on?' - and I saw a baby on the video call. She had it in the car on the way to the hospital. They're both strong and healthy, so happy days." The First Test is the only one he did not start, coming on in the 57th minute as the Lions secured a 27-19 victory following a stellar opening 50 minutes. Aki admits he knew they were on for a winning start after receiving the news of his latest arrivals. "I knew it was good 'Juju' [a magical property bringing good luck]. I knew we were going to have a good day," he said. All my kids start with A and my wife loved the name Aine. That's five As in the family - Armani, Adrianna, Andronicus, Ailbhe, and now Aine." Aki played in the centres again with Huw Jones on Saturday as the Lions missed out on making it a clean sweep in Australia. The Wallabies produced a spirited performance in Sydney to down Andy Farrell's men and restore some pride with the series already beyond them.
