Yogi to inaugurate Hanuman Katha Mandap in Ayodhya on Friday

Ayodhya (UP), May 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the newly constructed Hanuman Katha Mandap in the famous Hanuman Garhi temple complex in Ayodhya, the city of Lord Ram, on Friday, official sources said here on Thursday.
Sources said that the CM will reach Ayodhya at 11:25 AM, where he will first visit Ram Lalla. "After that, he will inaugurate the Hanuman Katha Mandap in Hanuman Garhi. Preparations for the newly constructed Hanuman Katha have been completed by the All India Shri Panch Ramanandiya Nirvani Akhara Hanumangarhi," they said.
Sources said that after inaugurating the newly constructed Katha Mandap, he will also have refreshments with saints and religious leaders on the occasion of Ekadashi. "He is scheduled to stay in Ayodhya for two hours. More than 5,000 people can sit together in the newly constructed Katha Mandap. Religious and cultural events can be organised here in a planned manner," they said. The Mandap has been constructed by KT Projects.
Its director engineer Parul Jaiswal said that the construction work was completed with the blessings of Hanumanji. "In this project, special attention has been paid to faith, devotion, and security. Special attention has been paid to the special decoration and strength of the construction of the Mandap," he said.
This is being considered an important step for the religious development of Ayodhya, which will provide better facilities to the devotees, and religious events can be organised more grandly. Hanuman Katha Mandap, a symbol of religious faith and spiritual dedication, is now fully ready for the audience.
Successor of Mahant Gyan Das of the famous Hanuman Garhi temple, Sanjay Das, inspected the newly constructed Hanuman Katha Mandap. He said that sixteen special rooms have been made for the convenience and rest of the visitors and saints, which is in a green area and a well-arranged parking area of about 10,000 square feet.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government will provide 20 per cent horizontal reservation to ex-Agniveers in recruitment to several positions in the state police force. You are well aware that the Government of India had introduced a very ambitious scheme, Agneepath, under which the age limit for employing Agniveers and to strengthen them in every way was kept between 17.5 to 21.5 years for 4 years, and after that they were sent off after giving incentives,' Uttar Pradesh Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said. "Today, it has been decided to give 20 per cent horizontal reservation to is a big decision in itself. A provision for 3 years relaxation has also been made for them," he said. The reservation will be in direct recruitment in the state polic force including the Pradeshik Constabulary (PAC), Mounted Police and Fire Services. The meeting was held in Lucknow under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Advertisement Meaningful post-servive employement Khanna, the UP Finance Minister, said the decision was aimed at ensuring meaningful post-servive employement for the Agniveers who complete their four-year tenure under the Agnipath scheme. 'The reservation will be applicable across all categories – General, SC, ST and OBC – of Agniveers,' he said. The first recruitment batch under this policy is expected to begin in 2026 – the year when first batch of Agniveers will retire. Many other states, like Haryana and Odisha, have also annouced reservation schemes for ex-Agniveers. A provision for 3 years relaxation has also been made for them. Khanna said UP Homestay and B and B Policy provides for housing facilities in up to six rooms (12 beds).
