Clarkson's Farm beats The Traitors to entertainment prize at Tric Awards
The event, held at London's Grosvenor House, was hosted by former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker, who was nominated for the news presenter award alongside Fiona Bruce and Susanna Reid, who lost out to GB News reporter Charlie Peters.

GB News also won in the news category with its breakfast show beating BBC News At Six, ITV's Good Morning Britain and ITV Evening News.

The show, which follows former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson and the challenges he faces at his Diddly Squat Farm, recently returned for a fourth season.
The drama prize was won by BBC historical series Call The Midwife, which began filming its 15th series last month.
It was recently announced that the series, about midwives working in the East End of London, will be made into a film and prequel TV series set during the Second World War.

Reality property show A Place In The Sun pipped ITV's This Morning to the daytime category prize, while Jordan North picked up an award for radio presenting.
Reality TV stars Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks won an award for their podcast, Staying Relevant, with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston taking home a prize for their Heart Breakfast radio show.
The soap actor gong was given to Steve McFadden, who plays hard man Phil Mitchell in EastEnders, which picked up the soap of the year prize.
Cooking show The Great British Bake Off won for food, The 1% Club for best game show and Six Nations Rugby for live sport.
The awards welcomed close to 1,000 guests and featured a live performance by Time To Grow singer Lemar.
The winners were decided by votes from the British public.

Now, an insider has alleged Peter is "devastated" by the whole ordeal, telling The Sun: "It's been a difficult, whirlwind of a time. The past few weeks should have been fully focused on Princess and her new career. "Instead, it's been marred by her mum who can't let go of being in the headlines." The source continued to claim Katie's recent glowing social media posts about her daughter appear to be 'damage control' and that she's 'eager to demonstrate they maintain a positive relationship' as Princess launches her own reality TV career. Whilst Peter was significantly involved, Katie was absent from filming for the show, and could only be heard during telephone conversations. And her absence during the publicity blitz has only further fuelled speculation of a rift between mother and daughter following Katie's claims she wasn't invited to Princess' birthday celebration. However, when it was suggested to Princess that she should simply ring her mother to resolve matters after Katie's remarks, she dismissed the idea saying 'it's not worth it' as she told The Guardian: "Mum can be annoyed about something and then we send each other a message and we're fine." When questioned why her parents didn't feature together on her show, Princess indicated this was never a possibility as she explained: "They don't like each other. It would be quite strange for my mum and dad to be in it at the same time, just because that's never been the case in my life since they split up." When it was put to Princess that having parents was 'not easy', she responded: "No. Especially divorced parents." Katie had criticised Princess' management team who were behind her first foray into the world of reality TV, and recently called on Peter to resolve their long-running dispute. Yet in a surprising Instagram statement that followed shortly afterwards, Peter lashed out: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. Danny Dyer and Rivals co-star reunite as they land new role ahead of season 2
EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is set to star in a brand new ITV game show alongside a very familiar Rivals co-star Danny Dyer has landed a new ITV game show with one of his Rivals co-stars. The former EastEnders star left fans gobsmacked with his performance in the Disney+ drama, which is set to return for its second series next year. The saucy series, based on Jilly Cooper's novel, charts the rivalry between David Tennant's Rupert Campbell-Black and Aidan Turner's Tony Baddingham at a telly station in the Cotswolds. In the role of endearing tech whizz Freddie Jones, who contemplates having an affair with Katherine Parkinson's Lizzie Vereker, Danny bagged the Best Supporting Actor gong at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards earlier this year. The star-studded cast also includes Alex Hassell from His Dark Materials, Victoria Smurfit from Once Upon A Time, Bella Maclean from Sex Education, and Luke Pasqualino from Skins, reports the Manchester Evening News. One face that fans were thrilled to see in the series was Emily Atack, who shot to fame on The Inbetweeners, playing aspiring presenter Sarah Stratton. Following her stint on the Channel 4 sitcom, the former I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here runner-up had primarily focused on theatre and panel shows. However, it was recently confirmed that Danny and Emily are poised to host a new game show titled Nobody's Fool. The strategic reality quiz, set to broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX in 2026, is billed as 'a unique reality event brimming with drama and deception where the fate of the contestants isn't decided by how smart they are, but how smart their fellow contestants reckon they are'. Ten contestants from across the UK will be selected to stay in a unique and mischievous Smart House, where they compete in challenges to convince others that they are more intelligent than they may actually be. To add to the group prize pot, the contestants will take part in daily individual quizzes. However, only the contestants themselves will know how well they have done, and they will decide what information to share with their competitors. An ITV spokesperson said: "Across the series, the players must determine who is the weakest amongst them and eliminate them. As each of the contestants sets out to prove their worth and value to the rest of the group, can the players suss out who is a genuine asset and who is simply faking in a bid to stay in the game?" "The show aims to exploit preconceived notions about intelligence, playing on stereotypes and snap judgments to create a cast of characters who will keep viewers guessing." Speaking of the series, Danny noted: "This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it, and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end." Emily added "It's so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch, it's an absolute must see." Sue Murphy, ITV's Director of Factual Entertainment, and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor at ITV, labelled Nobody's Fool as an 'innovative reality/quiz crossover show'. A forgotten mystery drama starring Jodie Whittaker has had viewers 'glued to their screens' since it dropped on streaming. One Night aired in Australia, the series One Night was made available to UK viewers in November 2024 but quickly pulled from streaming/ The six-part series followed friends Tess (Jodie), Simone (Nicole da Silva) and Hat (Yael Stone), whose lives have been changed by 'the traumatic events of one night in their hometown twenty years previously'. It was teased of the show: 'One Night is the story of three women whose bond was all but destroyed by the traumatic events of one night 20 years ago. 'Since then, Simone has harboured secret hopes of becoming a novelist, but most of her haphazard attempts have been shoved into her bottom drawer. Now, at the age of 40, she has finally written the one story she could never get out of her mind, and her debut manuscript has become an unexpected overnight success. Since landing on the service, the show has found a new lease on life and is currently third on ITVX's 'Top 10 Most Watched TV' shows. Fans of the show have been keen to make their feelings known with Rudolph Reindeer writing on Google: 'Praying for a second season, binged season 1 in one day, every episode kept me glued to it. So real and so brilliant, the cast was so well selected.' Vicky Hyde was similarly impressed, adding: I'm not one to normally write reviews, but this show was too good not to. Came for Whittaker and stayed for the whole show. Whittaker's performance just took the cap off! Absolutely phenomenal and definitely award-worthy.' General audiences weren't the only ones who were impressed, either. At the time of its release, The Guardian wrote the following about One Night: 'The overall effect is very much of an Australian Big Little Lies – a female-centred story played out mostly amongst affluent people in shiny clothes and shinier houses.' But the acting throughout One Night is incredible,' The Age added. One Night was the first TV role since playing the first female Doctor for Jodie. Reflecting on what drew her to the project, the 41-year-old actress explained that the drama depicted a story about sexual assault in a way that felt 'completely unique' to her. 'What made this completely unique to me and completely engrossing was the change of POV [point of view],' she told Metro. 'Very often it's told from outside in – there's an investigation, there's detectives, there's people working things out. This is about the decimation something like that can have. 'It's also about how the event – whether it happened a minute ago or 20 years ago – is defining for a group of women that it affects, particularly this friendship group. But also what it's about is how we all survive something like that and who owns memory, who has the right to tell stories, and especially if that story is true.'
