Model Mia Regan's H&M Collab Is An Ibiza-Inspired 'Dream Summer Wardrobe'

Refinery29a day ago
If your summer plans include beach days, hiking, music festivals, dancing, and dining al fresco, then H&M's new collaboration launching July 17 needs to be on your radar — and in your shopping cart ASAP. British model, content creator, and long-time friend of the retailer Mia Regan has co-designed her 'dream summer wardrobe,' she tells Refinery29. And it's the versatile, travel-ready capsule of our dreams, too.
While Regan's Instagram is full of editorials and fashion events, it also highlights her travel adventures and film photography. Often spotted in staple headscarves and hiking shoes on her escapades, Regan's lifestyle and style are reflected in the collection. As she explains, 'I wanted to design it so you could wear it to a festival or on a hike, or out to dinner or drinks with your girls.'
From utilitarian capris, which came easily to her, to breezy pieces like a sarong detailed with her hand-drawn illustrations, Regan was hands-on throughout, submitting sketches and collaborating with the Stockholm team. 'I take my film camera everywhere,' she says. 'One of the illustrations is actually from a picture I took on an H&M trip in Portugal — it's me and my friend lying down, and I drew that.'

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham seemingly reconcile in cryptic posts

Don't look now, but a long-ended relationship could be on the path to mending. Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined the wildly popular American-British band Fleetwood Mac in the 1970s, helping them reach the top of the Billboard Top 200 with Rumors in 1977. Fleetwood Mac's Rumors album went on to win the Grammy for Album of the Year in 1978, but Nicks and Buckingham -- who had been dating -- split up during the making of the album. It was an ugly breakup, with Buckingham even accusing Nicks of being the reason he was kicked out of Fleetwood Mac in 2018. The pair allegedly hadn't spoken since 2019. But Thursday, it seemed like a reconciliation might be on the horizon. Nicks and Buckingham took to their personal Instagram accounts, each posting one line from their 1975 song "Frozen Love" from the debut album of their duo, Buckingham Nicks. "And if you go forward..." Nicks posted in what looked like her own handwriting. "I'll meet you there," Buckingham responded. Both were posted within an hour of each other, and immediately fans started spiraling at the potential implications. Were they just rekindling a long lost friendship? Announcing a reunion tour? So do the posts hint at a future collaboration? It's currently unclear, but at the very least, it seems the former couple has mended some bridges.

Steve Miller Band cancels North American tour due to ‘unacceptable' weather risks

Steve Miller Band has canceled its upcoming North American tour, including one Bay Area show, due to recent national weather disasters. The San Francisco group, known for classic rock hits like 'The Joker,' 'Abracadabra' and 'Fly Like An Eagle,' explained its decision to scrap the 31-show run on its website and social media accounts. 'Always trust your instincts,' the statement, shared on Wednesday, July 16, says. "The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires makes these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable.' These concerns follow months of monumental climate disasters in the U.S., from the Southern California wildfires in January to recent flash flooding in Texas, which have killed several people and caused billions of dollars worth of damage. 'You can blame it on the weather,' the band continued. 'Don't know where, don't know when… We hope to see you all again.' Steve Miller Band's tour was meant to start on Aug. 15 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. and stop at Saratoga's Mountain Winery on Oct. 30, before concluding on Nov. 8 at the Honda Center in Anaheim. All tickets will now be refunded through the original method of payment. The group broke onto San Francisco's psychedelic rock scene in the mid-1960s, striking mainstream success in the 1970s. Steve Miller, the band's 81-year-old frontman, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2016, and has been touring regularly in recent years. Though several concerts and music festivals have been canceled due to weather conditions in the past, some fans are questioning the band's explanation and speculate that low ticket sales may have been the real driving factor. Nonetheless, many wished Miller and his bandmates the best. 'Steve has been doing this for decades and has earned the right to play by his own rules,' @lancelapeyrouse commented on the band's recent Instagram statement. 'Have some class, people.'
