The project is in its first phase in Mandya, he said.'In the first phase, they were distributed to Asha workers. The Asha workers will visit households to provide information about the menstrual cups,' he added. Kharge said, in the coming days, the cups will be distributed to Anganwadi workers and helpers, female school staff, women members of the Gram Panchayat, and staff of women's cooperative societies. 'Menstruation is not impure, nor is it a cause for embarrassment. Menstruation is a speciality of nature,' said Kharge.

The assessment covered crucial areas including maternal and child health, immunization, family planning, adolescent health, implementation of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, effective use of the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) portal, surveillance under the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), tuberculosis (TB) control, rabies prevention, leprosy elimination, dengue and malaria management, non-communicable disease control, the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), accreditation for quality health services, the e-Aushadhi drug supply system, free diagnostic services, the Ayushman Bharat–Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWC) initiative, HIV services, the Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) programme, and financial administration. 'Securing the first rank across the state for two consecutive months reflects the dedication of our medical officers, health staff, ASHA workers, and the cooperation of citizens. We are committed to sustaining this momentum and delivering the best possible healthcare services in the future,' said Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh. 'From frontline health workers to specialist doctors in hospitals, every level of participation has contributed to this success. New toilet facilities inaugurated at BC boys hostel
Dharmavaram: In a significant step towards student welfare, new toilet facilities were inaugurated at the BC Boys Hostel in Dharmavaram town and at the Zilla Parishad High School in Gottlur village, Dharmavaram rural mandal. These facilities were constructed with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, in collaboration with Samskruti Seva Samstha, and initiated under the efforts of Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav. The inauguration was carried out on Monday by Minister Yadav's wife, Triveni, during a special programme. Addressing the gathering, she emphasised that proper sanitation facilities are essential for the health and well-being of students. She noted that safe and hygienic toilets, especially for girl students, play a crucial role in supporting their continued education. Triveni appreciated the joint efforts of the government, voluntary organisations, and corporate bodies inproviding a clean learning environment for students in both urban and rural areas. She also assured the public that Minister Satya Kumar Yadav's office is always accessible for addressing the problems of students and citizens, offering 'Triveni Bharosa' (Triveni's assurance) that people's issues will be resolved without delay. Govt hospital in Nakkapalli to be upgraded to a 100-bed hospital
Anakapalli: Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha informed that the Government Hospital in Nakkapalli will be upgraded to a 100-bedded hospital next. Visiting the government hospital in Nakkapalli mandal of Anakapalli district here on Monday, she inspected several wards and interacted with patients and hospital staff and enquired about the treatment facilities. Also, Anitha enquired about the well-being of the patients and medical services Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister mentioned that keeping the increasing number of road accidents in view, a trauma care centre would be opened soon. She assured that all necessary facilities are being provided at the hospital as the number of OPs is increasing rapidly. Further, Anitha stated that the goal of the NDA government is to provide better medical services to the people. 'At the Government Hospital in Nakkapalli, Rs 17.50 lakh was allocated for the X-ray plant by the government. Similarly, C-ARM device, oxygen plant and medical equipment have been facilitated with the support of the CSR funds. Hetero Drugs contributed to a tune of Rs.12.20 lakh for the infrastructure development,' she informed. Meanwhile, the Home Minister inaugurated the computer room and library room built at a cost of Rs.41.6 lakh at KGBV (Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya) in Nakkapalli. She interacted with the children and received feedback. Students took photographs with the Home Minister.
