A 70-year-old man from Kalaburagi (Gulbarga) district in Karnataka has completed an extraordinary journey, walking hundreds of miles to Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand. 'Bowing down to such unwavering devotion, these elderly devotees walked 60 days from Karnataka to Kedarnath for Baba Kedar's Darshan. A journey of pure faith," numerous people showed their profound respect, as one comment stated.
'Unmatched Devotion," another user remarked on X.
One of the most respected pilgrimage locations in India is Kedarnath, which is tucked away in Uttarakhand's Garhwal Himalayas. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a major destination on the Char Dham Yatra, it is home to the historic Kedarnath Temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva.

'ChatGPT ruined my dream vacation', says influencer as their crying photo goes viral

Image credit: X (Twitter)/Canva A Spanish content creator named Mery Caldass has recently gone viral after a video of her crying at the airport was posted on the Chinese social media platform TikTok. Caldass claims that she missed the flight for a romantic getaway to Puerto Rico with her partner as she relied on OpenAI 's popular chatbot, ChatGPT, for travel advice. The influencer claims that the AI assistant gave her incorrect information about the necessary travel documents, which made her miss the flight. In the video (seen by The New York Post), Caldass, who has nearly 100,000 followers, claimed that ChatGPT provided false information regarding whether she needed a visa to visit the Carribean island. "I asked ChatGPT and he said no," she said in Spanish. While European Union citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Puerto Rico, they are required to have an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). Caldass admitted she should have sought more information and joked that the AI chatbot was getting "revenge" on her because she sometimes "insults him." 'I don't trust that one anymore,' she noted, pointing to her AI assistant. Sharing Caldass' TikTok video on Twitter, a user wrote: 'Sobbing influencers blame ChatGPT for ruining a dream vacation An influencer couple has gone viral after missing their flight to Puerto Rico — thanks, they claim, to a visa mix-up caused by ChatGPT. Video By merycaldass' How ChatGPT has reportedly put other users in 'trouble' This isn't the first time seeking advice from AI chatbots has led to 'problems.' According to a case report in the American College of Physicians Journals, a 60-year-old man was hospitalised after following dietary guidance he received from ChatGPT. He eliminated table salt from his diet due to concerns about its health effects. Instead, he began using sodium bromide—a compound once found in medications in the early 1900s but now recognised as toxic in high amounts, the report claimed. Doctors later reported that the man developed bromism as a result of this substitution. 'He had replaced sodium chloride with sodium bromide obtained from the internet after consultation with ChatGPT, in which he had read that chloride can be swapped with bromide, though likely for other purposes, such as cleaning,' the report noted. Bengaluru: What is a metro luggage fee and why people are talking about it

The most expensive metro fare in India is currently in Bengaluru's Namma Metro. The city's metro service has once again hit headlines with its luggage fee. But what is a luggage fee? Recently, a commuter took to X, formerly Twitter and questioned Namma Metro's policy of charging separately for luggage. He shared the receipt as he was asked to pay ₹ 30 for carrying a suitcase during his ride. His post sparked a debate over the luggage fee on social media. User Avinash Chanchal wrote, 'I am absolutely stunned that I had to pay ₹ 30 in the Bangalore metro for this bag. The Bangalore metro is already the most expensive in the country, and this just adds to the burden. This is just another example of how the @OfficialBMRCL is excluding people from accessing the metro.' 'What on earth is even a Luggage over size on a Metro with Namma Bengaluru Metro,' added another user. Reacting to the posts, someone commented, 'Stop moaning. If the bag is bigger than what can fit in the scanner, you pay. I've carried a suitcase and backpack multiple times without being charged because they fit within the limits. It's about not inconveniencing others.' 'Honestly, I'd be okay with paying if they had space for luggage. But paying extra just to hold it makes little sense," added another. 'At least they let you carry the bag. Try bringing alcohol or a drill—they won't even let you in,' one more shared. In short, the luggage fee is an amount Namma Metro charges for commuters carrying more than one piece of luggage or oversized luggage, costing ₹ 30 per luggage. The luggage fee can be paid at the Customer Care Centre. The policy also imposes a fine if a ticket is not purchased. 'One person is allowed to carry one piece of luggage with a maximum dimension of 60 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (length x width x height). To enable passengers to carry extra luggage/extra baggage and oversized baggage, a fee of Rs. 30/- per piece of luggage will be charged. This luggage ticket can be purchased from the Customer Care Centre (CCC),' read the official policy on Namma Bengaluru's website. 'If a ticket is not purchased for excess baggage, a fine of Rs. 250/- will be levied. In case of any dispute, any authorized Metro Railway Officer of the Metro Railway Administration or any person assisted by the Metro Railway Officer shall have the authority to remove the passenger from the train, even if he/she has a ticket for the journey,' it further mentioned.

5-Star Hotel Guard Can't Believe As Guests Arrive In Auto Rickshaw: ‘Yeh Dekho Room Key'

After verifying the key, the security guard allowed the auto-rickshaw to enter the hotel. A video capturing a group of friends arriving at a 5-star luxury hotel in an auto-rickshaw is gaining widespread attention online. The unusual entry at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa caught viewers' eyes as many were curious to see whether a three-wheeler could actually make its way inside a five-star property. The clip has sparked both amusement and discussion online. The footage was shared on Instagram and was recorded by one of the friends sitting inside the auto. It starts with the vehicle reaching the main gate of the hotel, where barriers are initially lowered to block its entry. The Auto-Rickshaw Arrival As the auto stood at the hotel's main gate, a security guard came near it. One of the men said, 'Khol do bhaiya (Open it, brother)." The group seemed aware that the vehicle might not be allowed, and one of them assured the guard by showing the hotel room key, saying, 'Room hai andar (We have a room here)." After verifying the key, the guard stepped aside and allowed the auto to move forward. During the ride into the premises, the friends could be heard joking. At one point, one of them exclaimed, 'Audi Mercedes lagi hai." The clip was shared along with the caption that read: 'The most confident 5-star arrival ever." The video has now amassed more than three million views and triggered a range of reactions online. Many viewers found it amusing, while others commented on their behaviour. One user joked, 'All four-wheelers' legacy comes to an end when three-wheelers come to play." Another praised the creative approach by calling it a 'Premium entry", while a person wrote, 'When someone said do something unique." Another added humourously, 'It wasn't the auto, it was the dudes," highlighting that the personality of the guests mattered more than the vehicle itself. Others took a more practical view, with someone stating, 'It wasn't the auto, it was the dudes." 'I mean, look at them lol. If your behaviour is decent, they will let you in any vehicle. I have gone in autos, and nobody even stopped or stared at me. If you look uncivilised, then they might question even if you arrive in a Mercedes," a viewer wrote. An individual pointed out, 'I have no issue with an auto vehicle. But people can even ride an auto with class. But they didn't." 'Stop glorifying it. It's about manners and civic sense," read another comment. A Bigger Conversation On Social Class This viral video also highlights a bigger discussion about social class in India. Earlier this year, Dr A. Velumani, founder of Thyrocare, shared a story on X (formerly Twitter) about an auto-rickshaw driver whose son is studying at IIT Hyderabad. He said that while the moment was a celebration of hard work and determination, it also exposed a moment of class bias when a luxury hotel in Mumbai refused to allow the rickshaw inside its premises. view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: August 18, 2025, 12:32 IST News viral 5-Star Hotel Guard Can't Believe As Guests Arrive In Auto Rickshaw: 'Yeh Dekho Room Key' Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
