When does Love Island 2025 finish as ITV boss teases fresh twist
Love Island is currently in the midst of its twelfth series and while viewers have been loving the non-stop drama of this year's show, sadly all good things must come to an end. The grand finale is now just around the corner once more and there are only around two more weeks of complete villa chaos to enjoy.
As the islanders head into week six, the competition is getting heated as only one pair of the eight remaining Islanders can win the £50,000 cash pot prize. With seven couples still remaining - but not one of them standing out as a hugely "strong" couple at this later stage - the pressure is on as the final looms.
While ITV bosses have not confirmed an official finale date, the show has been on long enough for fans to work out the length of the programme and when the final episode will likely air. However, for those who are gutted the show will soon be over yet, the fun is certainly not over yet.
In a recent interview, creative director Mike Spencer revealed the show is 'ripping up the rule book' when it comes to twists and new elements of the show, teasing that something huge is yet to come.
So while you enjoy the final few weeks of drama, here's everything you need to know about when the Love Island finale is coming to screens..
When will the Love Island finale air?
While ITV has not officially confirmed a date for the finale, the programme usually runs for eight weeks and the final episode always airs on a Monday night. So for long time Love Island fans, it's not too difficult to work out.
This year's series kicked off on Monday June 9 which means the final is likely to fall on Monday August 4 which is two weeks from today.
Of course a fortnight is more than enough time for more fresh drama, breakups and bombshells so the fun is nowhere near over yet. However, that final date is now looming in the distance.
Who is in the final?
As it's still two weeks away, the couples who will make the final are not yet known.
Couple Meg and Dejon have been together the longest out of the remaining seven but that does not mean they will be victorious.
Other remaining couples are Harry and Helena, Shakira and Conor, Angel and Ty, Jamie and Yasmin, Cach and Emma and Billykiss and Boris.
Toni is the only single girl left in the villa as of right now.
What will happen at the Love Island finale?
Judging by finale episodes in the past, it's expected the episode will last around 90 minutes.
The jam-packed episode is likely to be filled with emotional final dates between the couples and the announcement of who will take home the £50,000 prize pot.
The finale is also usually filmed live with an audience and the cast returning to cheer on the finalists.
