Hari Hara Veera Mallu is yet to beat Sailesh Kolanu's Nani-starrer HIT: The Third Case's Rs 80.75 crore lifetime domestic box office collection.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1- Sword Vs Spirit, Pawan Kalyan 's period action drama seems to be struggling at the box office, despite no big competition. Released on July 24, with paid previews on July 23, the movie has completed seven days in the theatres but is yet to touch the Rs 100-crore mark. According to sacnilk.com, on Wednesday, the film collected Rs 1.25 crore net in India, across all languages, bringing its total one-week collection to Rs 80.35 crore.
Looking at the actor's fan following, Hari Hara Veera Mallu opened with Rs 12.75 crore on Day 1 and collected Rs 34.75 crore, Rs 8 crore and Rs 9.15 crore on Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4, respectively. However, the number didn't show any big growth since its first Monday and minted just Rs 2.1 crore.
This means it is yet to beat Sailesh Kolanu's Nani-starrer HIT: The Third Case's Rs 80.75 crore lifetime domestic box office collection.
However, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has surpassed small films like MAD Square and Court, as well as Naga Chaitanya's Thandel, but it still has competition from Dhanush's Kuberaa, Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaaj, Ram Charan's Game Changer, and Venkatesh's Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Star Cast and Storyline
The movie opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics. Apart from Pawan Kalyan, it also features Bobby Deol, Niddhi Agerwal, Sathyaraj, Dilip Tahil, Vikramjeet Virk and others in pivotal roles.
Set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, the film narrates the story of legendary criminal Veera Mallu, played by Pawan Kalyan, who eventually becomes a rebel with a mission. The primary plot revolves around Veera Mallu being assigned the seemingly impossible task of rescuing the fabled Koh-i-Noor diamond from the clutches of Mughal king Aurangzeb.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 OTT Release
According to a report by 123Telugu, the film will premiere on the OTT platform Prime Video on August 22, which also happens to be South star Chiranjeevi's birthday. However, an official confirmation from the makers as well as the digital platform is still awaited.

BTS J-Hope's Sister Jung Ji-woo Slams ‘Pregnancy' Rumours: ‘Getting Out Of Hand'

Ji-woo, who has been married since 2021, has previously shared that she and her husband are planning to start a family. BTS member J-Hope's sister, Jung Ji-woo, has taken a strong stand against invasive and inappropriate social media comments regarding her personal life. The influencer and entrepreneur recently called out a section of internet users for spreading baseless rumours about her pregnancy and questioning her choices, calling the situation 'out of hand." In a pointed message shared via Instagram Stories, Ji-woo highlighted one particularly offensive comment that read in Korean, 'Aren't you pregnant? Or you lost the baby? There is no bump and you are wearing tight clothes and doing exercise," accompanied by a sad emoji. Shocked by the unsolicited speculation, she responded, '…? Was about to reply, but the comment disappeared. We're trying for a baby, but there's nothing to share yet. Still, I'm honestly shocked that someone I don't even know could ask such a personal and inappropriate question about our private life. Even my close friends wouldn't go there." She continued to express her frustration at the baseless rumours swirling around her. 'When did I ever say 'I'm pregnant'? I've said nothing, but some people here are making up stories like they're confirmed facts. Now it's gone from 'she's pregnant' to 'she had a miscarriage' to 'she's out drinking'? Seriously?" Ji-woo added, 'I've been ignoring it because it's so far from the truth, but it's getting out of hand. Show some respect, please." Ji-woo, who has been married since 2021, has previously shared that she and her husband are planning to start a family. In a March 2025 chat with her younger brother J-Hope, she openly talked about wanting a baby, a moment that was met with warmth and excitement. J-Hope had said at the time, 'If it's a nephew, I anticipate having so much fun with him," and added that he'd spoil a niece with gifts. PO on the mic: Singer who called govt house a jail busted after 10 years

1 2 Chandigarh: Declared a proclaimed offender in 2016, Sirsa resident Jagsir Singh evaded police for nine years by constantly changing his location and identity. However, his run ended with a dramatic revelation on Wednesday — he is Punjabi singer Baaz Sran, who just two months ago released a song likening a 'Sarkari Kothi' (govt residence) to a jail. In an irony of sorts, the lyrics of the song 'Sarkari Kothi' — which has 13 lakh views on YouTube — go: 'Jattan di sarkari kothi hundi jail kuddey (The official residence of Jatts is jail, lady).' Sran, who has 32,600 followers on Instagram and has sung duets with female singers like Deepak Dhillon and Gurlez Akhtar, was arrested by the Chandigarh zonal unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the alleged seizure of 36kg opium in 2015. Sran hails from Malikpura village in Haryana's Sirsa district. An official privy to the case said Baaz himself penned the lyrics and composed his songs. In May 2025, NCB published Jagsir's details in leading newspapers and announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to his arrest. Based on inputs received thereafter, he was arrested on Wednesday, the NCB said in a statement. The statement added: "During his absconding period, he gained popularity as a singer on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, amassing millions of views under a different identity. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Learn More - How Donating Plasma May Boost Your Income SpellRock Undo " At the time of his arrest, Sran was accompanied by a woman, said an official. The official added that a co-accused in the opium seizure had already been convicted. The official added that though Sran had was facing a drug seizure case, he did not consume them. "He is a fitness freak. He had just finished running and was exercising when we nabbed him. While he was involved in the drugs case and promotes drugs and weapons in the songs, he himself does not consume drugs," added the official. 'Sarkari Kothi': A song about life of crime In the song 'Sarkari Kothi', Baaz Sran has also penned lyrics about facing charges under the Arms Act and an 'attempt to murder' charge against him. The lyrics go: "25, 54, 59 laggi naal 307 de ni, jail diyaan baahlian likhiyaan karman vich jatt de di (I have been charged with sections 25, 54 and 59, along with Section 307. A long stay in jail is written in Jatt's fate)."

Brad Pitt's Mom Jane Dies At 84; Family Says 'We Were Not Ready For You To Go Yet'

Jane Pitt, a retired school counselor, raised Brad and his siblings - Doug and Julie - in Springfield, Missouri, alongside their father. Brad Pitt is grieving the loss of his beloved mother, Jane Pitt, who passed away at the age of 84. Jane, a retired school counselor, raised Brad and his siblings – Doug and Julie – in Springfield, Missouri, alongside their father, William Pitt, a former trucking company owner. Though the family kept a low profile, Jane occasionally stepped into the public eye to support her Oscar-winning son, attending red carpets including the 2012 Oscars and the 2014 premiere of Unbroken, directed by then-daughter-in-law Angelina Jolie. On Wednesday, August 6, Brad's niece Sydney — Doug's daughter — shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Calling Jane 'the biggest heart," she wrote, 'My sweet Grammy, we were not ready for you to go yet but knowing you are finally free to sing, dance, and paint again makes it a tad easier." Sydney added, 'She could keep up with all 14 of us grandkids without missing a beat. There was no limit to the love she gave, and everyone who met her felt it. I don't know how we move forward without her." Jane Pitt was not only a dedicated mother and grandmother but also a passionate supporter of children's health. In 2009, Brad and his siblings donated $1 million to open the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center in Missouri. The facility brought the region its first pediatric oncologist and hematologist, demonstrating the family's commitment to meaningful change. Even as recently as June 2025, Brad Pitt paid tribute to his mom during a press interview for his film F1. Speaking to Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie, he smiled and said, 'I gotta say hi to my mom because she watches you every morning. To Jane Pitt. Love you, Mom," before blowing a kiss on camera. Jane's deep impact on her children's lives was evident in a 2018 video for WorldServe International. 'I'm very proud of all my children," she said. 'They see a need and try to step in and fill it… It's an amazing thing." Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
