General Hospital's Dimpled Kingpin and residential Casanova, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bendard), has found himself in an unusual predicament lately, and that's being incredibly single. Although he was in a relationship of sorts with the dearly departed Natalia (Eva LaRue), we'd argue that he's not been in a real romance since ending his marriage to Nina (Cynthia Watros) back in the early part of 2024.
As such is the case, we think it's time he jumpstarts his love life and kicks off his next great courtship. Having said that, we decided to play matchmaker and come up with a shortlist of women we think would be perfect for him. First up is ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
So sure, ADA Turner is currently trying to do everything legally possible to have Sonny locked away in prison. However, we've noticed the banter between them often borders on flirtatious. And Turner would hardly be the first woman on the right side of the law to fall for Port Charles' residential mob boss. Heck, longtime fans of General Hospital will recall Sonny once fell for FBI Agent Reese Marshall (Kari Wührer).
Our second pick for Sonny's next romance would be Nina. Although the two split due to Nina's lying, the exes have managed to remain on friendly terms since the divorce, even as Michael (Rory Gibson) and Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) marriage imploded. Sonny and Nina have shared a number of one-on-one conversations since divorcing that lead us to believe there's still love there. Plus, with Nina being a town pariah after the truth about her and Drew (Cameron Mathison) was revealed, and Sonny fighting a public perception battle of his own, the duo may find comfort in each other.
Last up in the quest to pair Sonny off is, of course, Carly (Laura Wright). The two are like The Young and the Restless' Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Both couples live to break up to make up. We won't even pretend to count how many times Sonny and Carly have remarried over the years.
Now, a #Carson reunion faces two issues. On one hand, Carly is currently in a relationship with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). On the other hand, Carly is in a different stage in her life and doesn't want to embrace being together with someone in the underworld. However, her relationship with Jack is doomed given all his lies about Josslyn (Eden McCoy), and Sonny wants to get out of the mob business as soon as he deals with this Sidwell (Carlo Rota) threat. When the truth about Jack comes out and Sidwell is dealt with, we can see the exes reuniting.

Valkyries reveal Violet the Raven as team mascot with elaborate egg-hatching production

After considerable teasing, the Golden State Valkyries officially have a mascot. The first-year WNBA expansion franchise introduced her Monday night following an elaborate campaign that featured a faux web-cam focused on a giant spotted egg. Her name is Violet. She is a raven. Violet was introduced at halftime of Monday's home game against the Connecticut Sun. In the lead-up to the game, the Valkyries created a webpage featuring a "Chase Center Nest Cam" focused on the egg that would presumably hatch the new mascot. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] Fans in the stands were provided with binoculars for what the Valkyries dubbed "Birdwatchers Night." Then at halftime, Violet was revealed in a video with a first-person — ahem, first-bird view of Violet's imagined hatching. Violet then showed up in the Chase Center tunnel and danced her way to midcourt for her official introduction. There, Violet joined the dance team for a brief routine, surely a sign of more to come. The hatching routine elicited memories of the considerably clumsier reveal of the Colorado Rockies mascot Dinger the dinosaur in 1994. Budgets and production values for such reveals have come a long way in three decades. Golden State is off a strong debut season, despite the loss of All-Star Kayla Thornton to a season-ending knee injury. The Valkyries entered Monday's game at 15-15, good for the eighth-best record in the league out of 13 teams and in position for the final spot in the postseason. Now they have a mascot to cheer them on for the stretch run.

The episode will drop on the 13th, which is Taylor's favorite number. The New Heights Podcast was launched in 2022 and is one of the most popular sports podcasts out there. Travis co-hosts with his brother, Jason. Travis is still playing tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, while Jason is retired after being the Philadelphia Eagles' center. AMC Entertainment CEO Sees Paramount Ramping Up Theatrical Releases Under Skydance: 'We Are Excited'

AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron anticipates that Paramount will ramp up its release slate under new ownership after the company's sale to Skydance Media closed last week. 'We've had a very good relationship with Paramount across many generations of leadership,' Aron said on a a conference call after the giant theater chain's second quarter earnings. 'I'd especially like to thank [former studio chief] Brian Robbins and his executive team. They've been superb partners for AMC over the course of the last many years. It appears to us that Skydance is cash rich, and it would be our expectation that Skydance will be releasing more movies coming out of Paramount than Paramount has been releasing in recent years. 'You'll also recall that David Ellison is no rookie in the movie business,' he said of the chairman and CEO of new Paramount. 'He's been a prime force of some of the most important movies that have come out in recent years.' He called Top Gun: Maverick, where Skydance was an investor, 'the single movie that you can point to since Covid hit in 2020 that turned the movie theater industry around. … It finally reminded various studio chiefs that the future was not only in their streaming services, but also in their theatrical releases, and that sometimes the most successful movies on streaming services were those movies that had a great theatrical releases. He also praised Paramount's new president Jeff Shell. 'We've had a superb relationship with Jeff Shell over the past decade. … His influence over what happens at Paramount will be profound, and we think it's going to be very good for exhibition.' Ellison told CNBC on Friday that 'we're going to invest into our studios business' with Paramount releasing six to eight movies next year, rising to 15 in 2027. The merged company's first big announcement only hours after closing, Paramount Pictures co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein nabbed hot package High Side, re-teaming A Complete Unknown's James Mangold and Timothée Chalamet. Shari Redstone officially closed the sale of her family company to Skydance last Thursday. A side deal to that bigger transaction may well be Skydance unloading theater chain National Amusements, which it acquired from Redstone along with control of Paramount. Aron, on the call, alluded in general to potentially 'interesting acquisition opportunities' for adding to its portfolio through M&A. The comment comes several days after Paramount brass indicated that the company is looking to exit the exhibition business.
