CAIRO, June 10 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty had a meeting with senior officials from the migration and expatriate affairs office, as part of regular reviews of his ministry's operations. Abdelatty emphasized the importance of engaging with Egyptian communities abroad, particularly second- and third-generation expats, through initiatives including guided visits to national projects aimed at strengthening ties with the homeland. He also highlighted ongoing preparations for the sixth annual 'Egyptians Abroad' conference in August 2025, a platform for direct dialogue between the state and expatriates. The minister called for coordination with Egyptian embassies and consulates to ensure smooth voting for Egyptians abroad in the upcoming parliamentary elections, and pointed to efforts to open new labor markets and train workers to meet international standards.(MENA) K F E/R E E
