The crowd at Vaillant Live in Derby witnessed a throwback battle on Friday night (May 16), as Darren Till outlasted Darren Stewart in a gritty eight-round scrap. Both men showed heart, but it was Till who stood taller at the final bell, leaving fans buzzing and fight night gossip swirling about what comes next.
Till, making his second professional boxing appearance under the Misfits Boxing banner, dropped Stewart in the opening round and weathered a sustained pressure game to take home a unanimous decision. Judges scored it 77-74 twice and 77-73, confirming the former UFC welterweight title challenger's superior ring control.

Precision and power: Darren Till's early dominance From the opening bell, Till (2-0, 1 KO) looked like a man on a mission. His footwork kept him elusive while his left hand found its mark with sniper-like precision. Stewart (0-1) came forward with aggression but was met with clean counters. The most significant moment of the fight came early, when Till landed a flush left hand that sent 'The Dentist' to the canvas. Even as Stewart pressed forward and made the fight dirty on the inside, Till adapted, targeting the body and varying his shots to keep the pace in his favor. Stewart's pressure was commendable, but Till's ring IQ and calm composure proved decisive. In the final round, Stewart overcommitted, nearly tumbling through the ropes, and was met with another brutal left hand right before the final bell.
Darren Till calls out KSI, Mike Perry in post-fight message
No sooner had the judges read the scores than Till shifted into call-out mode. With KSI seated ringside, the Liverpudlian used his post-fight interview to stir the pot and possibly set up one of Misfits Boxing's most marketable matchups.'No one wants to f***ing fight me mate,' Till exclaimed. Eyeing KSI, he added, 'Cmon KSI. Are we gonna fight? I can get down to the weight, cmon. Cmon mate... You beat Tommy. You know you can fight, cmon son.'

I respect you, mate and thank you for the opportunity.'Till also took shots at Tommy Fury, saying, 'Tommy's fighting somewhere in Europe for 20 grand with his Dad. They're a pair of muppets.' He rounded off with a final challenge, name-dropping more combat sports rivals: 'Mike Perry, Jorge Masvidal. Any of them c***s, that's it.'
What's next for Darren Till after Misfits 21 victory? While no fight is confirmed yet, Darren Till's next bout is now one of the most anticipated announcements in the crossover boxing world. Whether it's a blockbuster clash with KSI, a blood feud with Mike Perry, or a long-awaited rematch with Jorge Masvidal, Till has made it clear, he's ready to fight anyone.Till's victory at Misfits 21 keeps him undefeated in boxing and places him firmly at the heart of the promotion's chaotic, entertainment-first style. UFC 316: 'I just like beating people up,' says Kevin Holland ahead of Vicente Luque fight
This weekend's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will see one of its most active fighters enter the ring at the Prudential Centre in New Jersey. Veteran Kevin Holland will share the cage with fellow old-timer Vicente Luque in a welterweight bout on Sunday. The event will be headlined by the bantamweight title bout between reigning champion Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O'Malley. Holland, who equalled the record of most fights (5) in a year back in 2020, will be back in action for his third fight of 2025. The mantra behind being active is simple for Holland. 'It doesn't matter if the fight is pay-per-view or fight night; I'm just happy to get out there and put one out for the people,' the 32-year-old said in an interaction with Sportstar. 'I'm annoying, and the matchmakers know it. So, they just book me before I get annoyed,' he added. From Khamzat Chimaev to current division champion Jack Della Maddalena, Holland has seen it all in his division. His upcoming challenge is expected to be extremely challenging. With 20 finishes in 23 wins, Luque could pose a strong threat to Holland, who has an equally impressive 22 finishes in 27 bouts. 'For me, all the fighters are the same. We think about them one way, but they get grapple heavy. So, I'm ready for his grappling, and his are pretty understandable, and I'll be careful about that as well,' Holland said. 'Don't think it'll be hard, and hopefully I've prepared right. I've been doing this for a long time. Regardless of the changes we make during training, what is important is to make changes on the fly inside the cage,' he added. Holland has been in and out of the top 15 rankings of his division, and three losses in his last five bouts meant he was pushed out of the table. A win would put him back into the top 15, paving the way for a shot at the belt. However, Holland emphasises that the UFC is much more than just numbers. 'For me, all wins are important, and I don't really stress on numbers. I just like beating people up. I'll just show up looking to win,' he concluded. Ex-WWE Boss Vince McMahon Sells Rs 2100 Crore Stock Amid Sex Trafficking Lawsuit
Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has sold around $250 million (Rs 21,46,11,24,900) worth of stock in TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE and UFC, according to The New York Post. The sale was conducted privately with Endeavor Group Holdings. This significant stock liquidation comes as McMahon faces an ongoing sex trafficking lawsuit and works on launching a new entertainment venture. The move marks a major financial step amid his current legal difficulties. Vince McMahon has long been the prominent figurehead of WWE, recognized worldwide for his role in professional wrestling. However, since a series of controversies emerged in early 2024, his public and financial connections to WWE and TKO have gradually weakened. The transaction, valued at $250 million, was completed at a price of $158.32 per share and finalized on Wednesday, according to official filings, according to The Post. He stepped down from the TKO board of directors in January after being accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking by a former WWE employee in a civil lawsuit. McMahon has "categorically denied" the allegations. Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, says she was forced by her then-boss into non-consensual encounters with him and others at the company. Last week, one of McMahon's co-defendants, John Laurinaitis, reached a confidential settlement with Grant that stipulates he will cooperate with her attorneys and possibly testify against the wrestling mogul. An attorney for McMahon said that the agreement between Laurinaitis and Grant "doesn't alter the facts of this case in any way" and that the mogul "never mistreated" her. The transaction bolsters Endeavor's position as the dominant stakeholder in TKO Group, which was created in 2023 through the merger of WWE and UFC.
