Watch the awkward Love Island moment that ‘proves' two girls are feuding, say fans

LOVE Island fans have called out an awkward moment which they reckon "proves" two villa beauties are locked in a fued. It came as the ITV2 show cast switched to their PJs and bedded down in the communal room ahead of last night's brutal first eviction. 6 6 6 Manchester beauty Shakira Khan, 22, was left unattached when Toni, 24, stole her man Ben, 23, graft with all her male housemates. On Monday's episode, Shakira was told by Love Island anchor Maya Jama, 30, she would be dumped on Tuesday's episode if she didn't recouple with a partner. And after scenes showed her grafting hard and flirting with all the Love Island 2025 male line-up, branding one a "minx" before praising another's "good vibe," she headed to bed alone. Yet fans were quick to call out a catty comment by Meg as they prepared for lights out. Despite question marks around her own coupling, with fans convinced Meg isn't attracted to Dejon "at all", she appeared quick to stir the pot over Shakira's single status. She pointed out Toni and Ben were sleeping close by her and pointedly said: "Shakira, I just realised you're sleeping dead opposite, awkward." One fan was quick to remark on the apparent feud on X and put: "Meg KILLS me." Another put: "Meg and Helena are beefing Shakira." A third posted: "'sorry but awkward,' yeah thanks Meg we could tell," as another put: "Meg looks awkward!" Yet the scenes came before a dramatic end to the episode, which saw Shakira picks Harry Cooksley after he stood up to reveal a connection for her - meaning Sophie Lee was dumped from the island immediately. Watch awkward moment Love Island's Shakira desperately grafts to stay in the villa - and show rivals are furious Over on Reddit, fans also noted the frosty atmosphere between the girls. One wrote: "Mean girl accusations on episode 2. The show has officially begun." Another added: "It was so b****y, especially from blonde Megan she was doing the absolute most." A third agreed and put: "Dunno why Meg was getting involved, she was always safe with Dejon." SECRET SPAT? Love Island 2025 - current couples LOVE Island's 2025 cast have already undergone a shake-up, here are the latest couples: It came after viewers were convinced there was an unaired argument between Shakira and former show partner Ben. It came amid the unexpected arrival of American bombshell Toni, 24. Yet before the Las Vegas pool cabana server caused chaos by stealing Ben, fan noted supposed bad blood between one pair. Fans reckoned Shakira, who offended swathes of viewers as she made a stark comment about 9-5 jobs, had also irked her partner too. They noted a strange vibe between the model and taxi driver Ben after they were coupled up, and one fan took to X to muse: "Shakira and Ben are clashing already yikes yikes yikesssss." Another quizzed: "Did I miss something between Ben and Shakira - why does everyone hate each other?" A third wrote: "Can we just get a brand new cast I don't like this one." The awkward attitude came shortly before ITV2 viewers threatened to call Ofcom after Shakira was left single - when Toni chose her man to couple up with. Yet show fans already suspect issues with the new couple, claiming Ben simply "doesn't fancy" the American bombshell. 6 6 6
