Dhoni, while making an appearance at the wedding of Utkarsh Sanghvi and Dhvani Kanungo, offered some marital advice that quickly went viral on social media.
Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni, otherwise called 'Captain Cool', is generally known to be a very jovial person. True to his nature, the former Indian skipper was seen giving some marriage advice dosed with a splash of humour as he raised a toast to the groom at a wedding.
Dhoni, while making an appearance at the wedding of Utkarsh Sanghvi and Dhvani Kanungo, offered some marital advice that quickly went viral on social media. The veteran Chennai Super Kings player took the stage and said, 'Marriage is a very good thing. You were the one in a hurry to do it."
'Some people like to play with fire. He is one of them… Now, Utkarsh is also under an illusion. My answer is the same as always," he further said, in a reference to his famous 'meri wali alag hai (My woman is different) line.
'Every husband here is in the same boat. It hardly matters whether you've won a World Cup or not," Dhoni added.
Speaking to the bride, Dhoni said, 'If your husband is angry, don't say anything in that moment. We cool down in five minutes. We know our power."
Concluding his speech, the former cricketer mentioned that men laugh at his jokes, while wishing the best to the newly married couple. While stepping down from the stage, the crowd started chanting, 'Dhoni! Dhoni!", just like a stadium match.
The video received more than 4.2 million views on Instagram and 328,000 likes since it was uploaded. 'Stand-up comedians ki job ab khatre me (the jobs of stand-up comedians are in danger)," a user said in the comment section.
'And Dhoni Finishes off in Style," another person said. A third person wrote, 'THALA did graduation in marriage and love department."
The legendary MS Dhoni continues to be one of the biggest draws in IPL despite having retired from international cricket for nearly five years now. His future though remains a hotly debated topic especially with his abilities hampered by a knee injury which has limited his mobility.

'Even 15–20 minutes a day can make a difference if you stay consistent. I make time because it's a non-negotiable part of my day, like eating or sleeping. My advice? Start small, stay regular, and choose something you enjoy. That's how habits are built,' says the actor, who entered showbiz as a model, going on to make a place for himself in the world of cinema. At 59, he is still considered a desirable figure in the industry, and he is humbled by the tag. 'I think it's a mix of things- staying fit, feeling good, and being comfortable with who I am. Confidence comes from knowing you're taking care of yourself, inside and out. Age has nothing to do with desirability, it's about how you show up in the world, with energy, purpose, and authenticity,' says Milind. Milind continues, 'Real results come from doing the right things consistently over time. There are no shortcuts, in fitness or in life. Today, when everything feels rushed or filtered, it is important to slow down, focus on what matters, and trust the process.'

Exclusive - Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Rohit Purohit: I still remember buying a neon shirt just because Salman Khan wore one, also tried to follow his fitness journey

Actor Rohit Purohit, currently seen playing Armaan Poddar in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, says being a celebrity comes with both love and responsibility. The actor adds that people observe every move. 'To me, being a celebrity means being someone who is celebrated and looked up to by people. It's not just about fame, it comes with a lot of responsibility. When more and more people start following you, they begin to observe your every move, your choices, your lifestyle, the way you talk, dress, behave. So yes, a celebrity is someone who has earned recognition in society, usually actors, cricketers, or public figures who are constantly in the public eye. People talk about you, admire you, and in a way, you become a part of their daily lives,' he says. Rohit adds that while the attention is flattering, there's also a cost. 'Now, being a celebrity definitely has its perks. The love, attention, admiration, it all feels amazing. But there's a flip side to it too. Once you become familiar to the public, your privacy takes a backseat. Simple things like taking a local train or walking freely in a crowded area become difficult. People stop you, they want to talk, take selfies, and it's never just one photo. First it's a selfie, then a group pic, then solo shots. It takes time, and though it's heartwarming to feel that love, it can sometimes get overwhelming. Your personal space does get affected.' Talking about fans imitating celebrities and their actions, he says, 'As for imitation, I think people mostly imitate celebrities for fashion, lifestyle, fitness, and relationships. In the public eye, celebrities seem like 'ideal' or 'successful' people. There's this perception that they've got it all, money, fame, looks, and happiness. That's why people are curious about their fitness routines, diets, relationship updates, and style statements. Their choices often become trends.' Rohit also admits that he has been inspired to imitate celebs himself. 'And yes, I've done it too! I've imitated celebrities. I still remember buying a neon shirt just because Salman Khan wore one in Janam Samjha Karo, I wanted to look like him. I've also tried to follow his fitness journey. He once said, 'Aap log mujhse inspire hote ho,' and it's true. I've made real changes in my life—from clothing to working out, just because a celeb I admired did it. ' However, he feels the culture is evolving. 'But I also feel that today, everyone has a platform, whether it's YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, where they can showcase their own identity, style, and lifestyle. Fame isn't limited to film and TV anymore. So while people still get inspired by celebrities, they also have more ways to express themselves now, which I think is a great balance.'
