England U21 matchwinner warns rivals his side 'can accomplish anything' with 'new wave' of stars after retaining Euros title

England are ready to become an 'unstoppable' force in world football after back-to-back Under-21 Euros titles, claims matchwinner Jonathan Rowe.
The former Norwich City man, now at Marseille, came off the bench to score the decisive goal at the start of extra time.
Senior boss Thomas Tuchel watched on from the stands and now the pressure switches over to him to back this up with glory for the seniors at the 2026 World Cup.
But Rowe has no doubts of the quality at England's disposal and victory over Germany in Bratislava showed the Three Lions are embarking on a 'new wave' of dominance.
'It's the start of a new wave!' Rowe raved.
'We have so much talent in England so it's only right that we utilise it to its full potential.
'With the right head coach, with the right staff, with the right mindset, with the right people, you can accomplish anything.'
Asked to try and best explain how England have found a trophy groove at this level, replicating the achievement of Dave Sexton in 1982 and 1984 by winning successive titles, mentality is at the forefront of Rowe's thinking.
'It's more the mental side, you know? How [coaches] make us feel as players, the self belief they give us to go out and perform and express ourselves.
'Listen, to make it as a professional is difficult. We are all capable of doing a lot of amazing things but to perform consistently and do it time and time again that's the difficult part.
'If we have the right mindset and the right self belief in ourselves and the people around us we'll create a good team and we'll show that we're unstoppable.'
England raced into a 2-0 lead before Germany made this such a thrilling contest, scoring twice to tie it up at 2-2 before rattling the crossbar in the final seconds of regulation, as well as in extra time.
'Grit, perseverance, determination… you name it,' Rowe said of this triumph.
'We all dug deep, stuck in and we all achieved what we came here to achieve.
'Everyone is special in their own way. Everyone has got unique talents. Everyone has got amazing ability. We all come together as a team and we all came with the right mindset, that's the main thing.
'A self belief, a belief in the team, and that trust in each other to get the job done and for everyone to play their part.
'I think it just gelled together. We haven't all played together before so at the start it was difficult to gel at times. But we found our feet very quick and it paid off in the end.'
