Ben Stokes's Test side will welcome New Zealand and Pakistan in two three-match series, while the white-ball side led by Harry Brook face India and Sri Lanka in ODI and T20 contests. Brook will also lead England in the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka
Meanwhile, Nat Sciver-Brunt's team will play New Zealand, India and Ireland, and will play a Test against India at Lord's starting on July 10. Throw in the Women's T20 World Cup to be held at home and it's a bumper year for women's cricket.

Rishabh Pant is a cricketer who, on any given day, gets tongues wagging. In this series he has scored twin hundreds; has cartwheeled in celebration; has thrown his bat skywards when attempting a slog over the leg side; was run out at a critical juncture of the Lord's Test and here in Manchester his role was of the walk-on, carried-off variety only, but still of central importance given what happened.
Having made 37, Pant was in the process of gaining control for India during the final session in partnership with the willowy left-hander Sai Sudharsan. The usual wacky combination of dutiful defence and outrageous stroke play — with not much in between — had been fully in evidence when, attempting a reverse-sweep to Chris Woakes in the 68th over, he took a full toss on the outstep of his right foot and was forced to retire hurt.

A very good morning from Old Trafford where there is some blue sky and it's nice and warm. While that is the biggest news of the day, there is also some news about the on-pitch matters — Rishabh Pant has a broken foot so is almost certainly out of the rest of the match and probably series. Dhruv Jarel will keep wicket for India— as he did for most of the Lord's Test.
Big blow for India and means England effectively have the visitors five down in this innings, and they'll take the new ball straight away this morning.

Everton have been given a boost in their pursuit of Jack Grealish as the Manchester City outcast appears not to be part of Pep Guardiola 's plans this season. Daily Mail Sport previously reported that Fenerbahce were knocked back with an ambitious move for the England international. In June, we revealed how the Merseyside club were monitoring the situation with the former Aston Villa man, who would become a marquee signing as they mark their move to a new stadium. Now, an approach has been made over the possibility of a season-long loan switch for Grealish, who is thought to be on around £300,000-a-week at City. Those with knowledge of the season believe a move may not materialise until late in the window, given the belief that a number of clubs who are interested are yet to come forward. Should they manage to do so, persuading Grealish to make the move to Bramley-Moore Dock would be seen as a major play for Everton's new owners, the Friedkin Group. Manager David Moyes is known to be an admirer of the 29-year-old winger, branding him 'probably the best player in the Premier League at this time,' in 2021. Interest is likely to come from both home and abroad. Grealish has been told he can leave and was excluded from City's Club World Cup squad. He is keen to force his way back into the England squad ahead of next year's World Cup. Bayern Munich are known to be admirers, along with Newcastle United, although Toon manager Eddie Howe is not a fan of loans. Grealish arrived at City for a then-British record £100m in 2021, and his contract does not expire until 2027. Grealish did not feature in City's first friendly of pre-season and is highly likely to miss the weekend trip to Palermo ahead of his likely move away. He is thought to have been at the City Football Academy on Saturday as Pep Guardiola fielded two different line ups during a slender 1-0 victory over Preston North End in a behind closed doors match.

Former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood had his shirt ripped by an irate Tyrone Mings as tempers flared in a pre-season friendly between Aston Villa and Marseille on Saturday. Mings appeared unhappy with Greenwood after the latter appeared to aim a kick at Amadou Onana, which brought him to ground. Mings - who was an unused sub away in Iceland in 2020 when Greenwood came off the bench for his only Three Lions cap - subsequently picked up the ball after play had stopped to confront Greenwood. Reacting to the incident on social media, fans expressed their shock at the incident after it occurred. One user wrote: 'Tyrone Mings absolutely manhandling Mason Greenwood.' A second added: 'This is one of the reasons why we love him so much at the Villa.'
