Kelsey Parker posts incredibly brave announcement three weeks after losing baby

Daily Mirror6 days ago
On June 22, Kelsey Parker tragically announced that her third child was stillborn in a heartbreaking post just months after announcing her pregnancy
Kelsey Parker has shared a deeply emotional message with fans following the tragic loss of her baby at nine months.
In a new Instagram post, she revealed that episodes of her podcast Mum's The Word, recorded during her pregnancy, will still be released. Kelsey, 34, announced: 'Before I gave birth to Phoenix, I had recorded a lot of podcasts for my @mumstheword_pod before going off on maternity leave. I want to thank the lovely team for checking in and being patient to put some episodes out that were during my pregnancy."

She added: 'Over the next couple of months these episodes will air. They were part of my journey so I didn't want to not share them, and they all have incredible guests with really important stories and messages. Please take the time to listen to these episodes and remember to be kind when doing so.'

The series, which Kelsey co-hosts with Georgia Jones, explores parenting through candid conversations with celebrities and experts.
On June 22, Kelsey announced the tragic news that her third-born child was stillborn - and that it was a little boy, named Phoenix. The podcast host, 34, who was expecting her third child with her partner Will Lindsay, broke the devastating news on her Instagram.

Kelsey's heartbreaking tribute to her son included one simple heartbreaking caption: 'Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved', alongside a moving poem, entitled For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved.
The poem read: 'The world grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight.
'We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won;t ask why. No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear.'

In a second Instagram story, Kelsey wrote: "Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share.
"But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. Love always, Kelsey, Will, and the Parker Family."

Just days previous to her heartbreaking announcement, Kelsey had happily showed off her baby bump as she attended the Elio UK Gala screening at Vue Cinema in London's Leicester Square with her children on Sunday 17th June.
Kelsey shares children Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with The Wanted star Tom Parker, who tragically died from brain cancer in 2022 at the age of 33, four years after they married.

She had opened up to the Mirror in January about her excitement at welcoming a third child into the family home in South East London which she now shares with tree surgeon Will, after finding love again last September.
Confessing that the baby, which would have been Will's first child, was a "happy accident", Kelsey said she was gently preparing Aurelia and Bodhi for a new sibling, and sharing the joyous news with Tom's family.
Tom's mum Noreen, she said at the time, had immediately given her blessing. "All I care about is that both our families and Tom's family are happy. Noreen is the most amazing lady.

After Tom passed, she said to me, as long as you're happy Kels, whatever you do, we will always support you and be happy for you.' We've all been through so much together. But I'm here and bringing another baby into the world."
Revealing that they were both committed to keeping Tom's memory alive for the children, Will also revealed in the January interview. "I'm over the moon. This is something I've wanted for a long time. I couldn't be happier and I know Kelsey is going to be an amazing mum, as she already is."

Speaking about finding new love while holding onto Tom's memory, Kelsey was also candid about her journey through grief and into single motherhood at a young age.
"If I dwelled on everything that's happened, I wouldn't be here," she told the Mirror poignantly. "Tom was my soulmate. I'm still angry he's gone. But I can't live in sadness. Tom wouldn't want that."

Clarkson's Farm star forced to call 999 during heatwave over fire risk

Clarkson's Farm star forced to call 999 during heatwave over fire risk Kaleb Cooper, who has become famous since appearing on the Amazon Prime show alongside Jeremy Clarkson, took to social media to share the warning Kaleb Cooper, a familiar face from Clarkson's Farm, has criticised individuals for releasing Chinese lanterns into the Cotswolds countryside amid a heatwave. The farming contractor urgently contacted emergency services yesterday upon spotting the lanterns, which are known to pose a significant wildfire risk according to fire services. ‌ The Oxfordshire native and breakout star of the show with Jeremy Clarkson took to social media on Saturday (July 12) to voice his concerns. ‌ In an Instagram post titled "what is going on in the world" Kaleb shared a video message. Although the video mainly showed a shadowy figure, it included Kaleb speaking directly to the camera, expressing his disbelief: "I can't quite believe what I'm seeing at the moment." He continued, revealing his immediate action: "I've just called this in to 999 but someone has felt the need to light two Chinese lanterns in and around the Chipping Norton area. I'm looking at both of them as we speak right now." Kaleb then questioned the rationale behind such actions during dangerous weather conditions: "But what goes through someone's mind when they decide to light two Chinese lanterns in the middle of a heatwave. ‌ "We've hardly had any rain since March. Jesus, honestly. What's going on with the world," reports Gloucestershire Live. His followers quickly echoed his sentiments in the comments section. Another supporter agreed with Kaleb's warning: "Well said Kaleb, this could quite easily start a wild fire." A third individual expressed concern saying: "Some people really don't have a clue. The farmer's field next to mine is that dry I can literally put my whole hand down the cracks of the soil." ‌ Meanwhile, another added their voice to the chorus of concerns: "They should never do this for any celebration. They let some of these off for a wedding near me. They set fire to someone's house and barn when they landed. Plus livestock can ingest them when they land. It's like balloon releases. It's littering, pure and simple. Should be banned." Kaleb was praised by his followers for his actions (Image:) On its website, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service offers advice about sky lanterns, describing them: "Sky lanterns are a beautiful sight - but the potential damage they can cause is significant. ‌ "They use the heat of a naked flame to float. They're not only a fire hazard but also a danger to livestock, agriculture, camping activities, thatched properties and hazardous material sites. "Whilst ignition and launch are mostly in the control of the user, the actual flight path and end destination are not. There's no guarantee the fuel cell will be completely out and cooled when the lantern lands, so any contact with a flammable surface could start a fire. "There's evidence of them causing fires, wasting police time, being mistaken for distress flares, misleading aircraft and killing livestock." James Martin reveals extra precautions to protect himself after London attack

James Martin has revealed the extreme lengths he has taken to protect himself after thieves smashed up his car in broad daylight. The ITV chef recently declared that 'London is broken' after the windscreen of his car was smashed in. In a post on Instagram, the 52-year-old shared a photo of his car with the caption: 'So in a week two of my friends cars got stolen. 'One other mate got mugged and now I had this happen all in broad daylight all in central London. London is broken big time.' Now, however, Martin has taken a step further by sharing a picture of his dogs, a Belgian Malinois, in a 'working dog' harness. Alongside the image, he captioned the post by simply saying: 'London.' I'm terribly sorry because I had planned to be there [at SharkCon] and I had been looking forward to it, but I am unable to do so. ‌ "I don't want to get anyone else sick, and I don't want to get sicker myself. I feel terrible about not showing up and I feel worse about exposing you to this apparently very viral illness. "But there will be other times and I will make it my business to show up. I want to wish you all good luck and happiness and I want you all to feel very sorry for me, and very sorry for yourselves. "I'm in a lot of pain and that has to come first, my health. I feel very good about having the time and enough health." ‌ His wife added: "And such great fans!", with Richard agreeing: "And such great fans." So good luck, happy health, happy con–bye!" ‌ SharkCon organisers shared the video, with the caption: "A message from Richard Dreyfuss. All prepaid autographs and photo ops will be automatically refunded. It will take 5-10 business days, plus what your bank takes to process. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you." The world is not good without you, then come over and give me a hug." ‌ A fan added: "My buddy was a limousine driver in NYC and his company drove a lot of stars. He said most stars ignored you and were aloof but Richard Dreyfus was the best! Always chatting with the drivers and such a cool guy. They all loved him." Actor Jake Busey, son of Gary Busey, wrote: "F***! Well, hey Rick. DAD and I are sending you love and healing energy. This is only a small hurdle you will beat. So wild.
