Published February 19th, 2025 - 06:55 GMT
ALBAWABA - Rumor has it that popular American record producer DJ Khaled is reportedly getting his own radio station inside one of the most anticipated video games of 2025, GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI), sparking widespread debate and speculation about the leak's authenticity.
According to Dexerto, the rumor was revealed by a reputable Call of Duty leaker on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) named, "TheGhostOfHope." — Dexerto (@Dexerto) February 18, 2025
The radio station will reportedly only play the record producer's music. Upon hearing about the rumors in question, GTA 6 fans took to several social media platforms and expressed their mixed reactions with some stating that they dislike DJ Khaled's music.
A user on Musk's X wrote, "I hope this statement is a lie, I don't want to hear his voice in GTA 6 at all."
Another added, "This will be the most annoying radio channel in the game."
Recent rumors also indicate that Rockstar Games reportedly met with Roblox and Fortnite content creators to delve into user-generated content including custom game modes, giving its players the freedom of creation and expression, according to Digiday.
Digiday also reported that there are "three industry insiders with knowledge of these meetings."
GTA 6 is gearing up to be the most anticipated video game of the decade, but while the excitement is as high as ever, fans of the popular open-world franchise still await its release date.
Aimed to release in late 2025, the game will first hit consoles including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. As it's always been, PC players and their mods will have to unfortunately wait longer until further notice from Rockstar and TakeTwo.

Jordan's Olivewood Studios partners with American Shadowbox Studios
American film and television production studio Shadowbox Studios has announced a new partnership with Olivewood Studios in Amman, Jordan, Deadline reported. The studio is expanding its footprint beyond its own facilities and beginning to offer studio management and consulting services to third-party operations. The move marks a significant development for both companies. Olivewood, completed in 2023, is the first purpose-built film complex in Jordan, featuring two soundstages and a backlot. Situated in the country's capital, the studio was designed to support large-scale international productions in a region already known for its cinematic appeal. "Bringing Shadowbox's global expertise to Olivewood marks a pivotal step in our growth," said Jumana Sharbin, General Manager of Olivewood Studios. "Their operational strength and industry insight will be key as we scale up and deliver world-class productions in Jordan." Shadowbox Studios is best known for operating large facilities in Atlanta and the UK, including Shinfield Studios. Under the direction of newly appointed COO Mike Mosallam, the company is now broadening its services to include strategic support for other studios — from planning and logistics to full-scale operational management. 'After visiting Jordan late last year, my team and I were astonished by the breadth of available landscapes and the production service infrastructure already in place at Olivewood,' said Mosallam, who joined the company earlier this year following roles at Apple TV+ and Netflix. 'Now with the benefit of sound stages, the Kingdom is well-positioned to house and host domestic and international productions of any size.' Jordan has long been a favored destination for filmmakers, with its unique mix of ancient heritage sites and dramatic desert backdrops. Major Hollywood productions such as Dune, The Martian, Star Wars: Episode IX, and Aladdin have all filmed in the country, capitalizing on its cinematic landscapes like Petra and Wadi Rum. Despite a recent dip in international filming interest due to regional instability following the events of October 7, 2023, Jordan's film industry is actively working to regain momentum. The Royal Film Commission (RFC) used this year's Cannes Film Festival to highlight incentives, including a boosted 45 percent cash rebate for film and television productions. Officials also hinted at a major incoming international project. The collaboration with Shadowbox is expected to strengthen Olivewood's role in positioning Jordan as a viable and attractive hub for global film production.

James Foley, ‘Glengarry Glen Ross' director, dies at 71
Ammon News - American James Foley, a journeyman director best known for 'Glengarry Glen Ross,' has died. He was 71. He died earlier this week after a yearlong battle with brain cancer, his representative, Taylor Lomax, said Friday. In his long and varied career, Foley directed Madonna music videos, 12 episodes of 'House of Cards' and the two 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequels, but it was his 1992 adaptation of David Mamet's foulmouthed Pulitzer Prize winning play that stood above the rest. Although it wasn't a hit at the time, 'Glengarry Glen Ross' wormed its way into the culture and grew into an oft-quoted cult favorite, especially Alec Baldwin's made-for-the-film 'always be closing' monologue. Born on Dec. 28, 1953, in Brooklyn, Foley studied film in graduate school at the University of Southern California. Legend has it that Hal Ashby once wandered into a film school party where his short happened to be playing at the time and he took a liking to him. Foley would later attribute his ability to make his first feature, 'Reckless,' a 1984 romantic drama about mismatched teenagers in love starring Daryl Hannah, Aidan Quinn and Adam Baldwin, to the Ashby stamp of approval. It was also the first screenplay credited to Chris Columbus, though there were reports of creative differences. He also directed several music videos for Madonna including 'Papa Don't Preach,' 'Live to Tell,' and 'Who's That Girl,' and an episode of 'Twin Peaks.' AP
