Crocs latest collab with designer fashion label has taken shoppers by surprise
Global footwear icon Crocs and beloved Finnish design house Marimekko have teamed up for the first time ever, and the result is a limited-edition collection that's guaranteed to spark joy (and probably start a few group chat debates).
Dropping today, the Marimekko x Crocs collection is a playful, feel-good fusion of function and fashion.
And yes, those are floral Crocs you're looking at.
If you've ever secretly slipped into your Crocs for the school run or a quick coffee, now's the time to come clean and go full fashion with it.
Marimekko's iconic Unikko print, a bold, blooming floral pattern born in the '60s and beloved by design lovers around the world, has been splashed across Crocs' most-loved silhouettes, including the Classic Clog and the ultra-popular Platform Clog.
The collection also includes mini-me styles for kids, so you can match your little ones in the most adorable way possible.
But the fun doesn't stop at your feet.
To complete the look (and let's be honest, your weekend errands outfit), the brands have also dropped matching socks, a printed tote bag, marking Crocs' first ever foray into totes, and a charm pack of Marimekko x Crocs Jibbitz, perfect for customising your clogs with a little extra flair.
'This collaboration celebrates the joy and creativity at the heart of both brands,' says Rebekka Bay, Creative Director at Marimekko.
And it shows. The collection feels like a wearable mood boost, combining Crocs' foot-hugging comfort with Marimekko's artistic flair.
Crocs' VP of Global Marketing, Matias Infante, puts it best: 'Together, we're championing bold self-expression, comfort, and confidence.'
Translation: you're about to see these on every cool girl at the farmers' market.
Whether you're a diehard Marimekko collector, a Crocs convert, or just someone who likes their footwear with a side of fun, this is one drop you don't want to sleep on.
Limited edition means limited quantities, and with pieces this cheerful and wearable, they're bound to fly off the shelves (and straight onto your feet).

Hats off to Swede machines
'Wow! Looks like I've stirred up some pent-up 'Volvo Rage',' writes Duncan McRobert (C8) of Hawks Nest. 'I therefore claim the right of reply. First, all my 'Swedish Kingswoods' were wagons, so I didn't have a back window shelf for the hat. Second, I never wore a cardigan, I wore a 'car coat' and driving gloves. Also, I'll bet Bob Hall and Peter Farquhar drove Ford Falcons, which for some reason seemed to be the most prolific of the 'flashers'.' Noted master of reality Peter Miniutti of Ashbury notes that 'with the sad passing of Ozzy Osbourne, I wonder if the bats of the world can at last feel safe and come out of their caves'. 'Snap, Susan Howard [C8]. That Christmas, I received two Trump toilet brushes,' says Viv Mackenzie of Port Hacking. 'And the orange makes a colourful statement in my all-white bathroom.' As an accessory, Caz Willis of Bowral received a roll of Trump toilet paper: 'Much mirth developed whenever it was shown. The best result was giving one to a friend dealing with cancer. It made her smile and laugh as she gave him the treatment!' After our attempt in verifying whether there were large, amphibious reptiles descending on Noosa (C8) turned into an attack on the humble 13-holer, Graeme Finn of Campsie has come out in defence of Crocs: 'Crocs may not be fashionable footwear, but they are popular with kitchen staff as spills don't soak into their shoes and socks.' Fancy a game of pass the antimacassar (C8)? Gara Baldwin of Randwick does: 'David Rose's comment got me pondering how many unwanted gifts are offloaded onto Secret Santa each year. The antimacassars may well have been a gift to the donor by an elderly relative, and passed on anonymously. The following year they could be gift-wrapped by David's stepdaughter and passed on again, ad infinitum …' John McIntyre of Port Macquarie finds it 'surprising that Mike Parton is 'still making use of' Macassar oil as 'the hair oil of choice' and didn't follow the trend to Californian poppy hair oil. Or perhaps, sentimentally, he likes using antimacassars. But does he still use Bay Rum Aftershave? Does anyone?' 'I'm surprised the couple involved in Coldplaygate [C8] didn't see trouble coming,' says Jack Dikian of Mosman. 'I'm pretty sure they were playing one of their hits, Trouble, which contains the lyric: 'Oh no, I see'.'

A personal stylist (and mum) shares the two comfiest pants you can own
This story is part of the July 20 edition of Sunday Life. See all 13 stories. Each week, we quiz a prominent person about their style and the inspiration behind it. Ahead, personal stylist Liv Brown. How would you describe your style? I wear lots of patterns – I feel most myself in animal print. There's always something oversized, and heaps of fun accessories. What's the oldest thing in your wardrobe? My mum's wedding ring and some of her old handbags. A black leather bag with silver studs from the '90s is a favourite. And the most recent addition? A Blanca matching denim set – jeans and an oversized shirt – in black-and-white zebra stripes. Sets are easy because I feel put together without having to think. What would you wear … on a first date? A denim set with kitten heels and my fluffy Mane by Stable 'Sheila' bag. … on a plane? I know people are into their airport fits, but I just go comfy in sports leggings, a colourful, oversized Jungles Jungles hoodie and my Nike 'TN' sneakers. … on the red carpet? I'm dying to wear a custom dress by Melbourne designer Van Der Kooij. Loading What's your favourite fashion era? The 1960s for the miniskirts, chunky boots, shift dresses and prints. Who are your favourite designers? Locally, its Blanca, Van Der Kooij and P.A.M. (Perks and Mini) for their cool graphic tees. European brands I like are Stine Goya for the prints and great bags, and Baum und Pferdgarten for the cool Scandi vibe. I also love Ganni – it's cool and feminine but not 'pretty'. What's your fragrance of choice? I wear Rabanne 'Olympea'.
