Sophie Turner clapped back at a commenter who shamed her for having a night out without her kids
Turner reminded the commenter that there's a 'crazy thing called shared custody,' explaining that there are times when her kids are with their father, musician Joe Jonas
The critical comment was posted several days after Turner shared photos on Instagram of herself at an Oasis concertSophie Turner clapped back at a commenter who seemingly shamed her for enjoying a night out without her kids.
Turner recently posted several photos and a video of herself having fun at an Oasis concert on Instagram. The Game of Thrones actress, 29, could be seen smiling, kissing a photo of a member of the band and generally having what looked like an epic time.
However, one commenter didn't seem pleased with the star's post.
'Lmfao i think she has forgotten that she has two kids,' the person wrote in a comment shared on Thursday, Aug. 7.

Turner personally responded to the comment the same day, writing, 'ah I'm so sorry sometimes I forget some people can't think for themselves.'
She added, 'So…. Get this….There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.'
Fans were also quick to come to Turner's defense in the post's comments section.
'Babe…she's [allowed] to go out,' one person said.
'Lmfao that you think concert venues should operate a no parents policy 🤦‍♀️😆,' added someone else.

'Would you say this to Joe?' asked someone else, referring to Turner's ex-husband and the father of her two children, Joe Jonas.
Turner shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with Jonas. The former couple divorced in September 2024 after tying the knot in 2019.
While Turner has been open about her 'incredibly sad' split from Jonas, 35, the pair have also seemingly found their footing as collaborative co-parents.
'There's a mutual respect [between them] now, and the girls are their priority,' a source told PEOPLE in July.
'Joe and Sophie have hit a surprisingly peaceful groove, and they've maintained an amicable relationship from two continents, which isn't easy, but they've managed to pull it off,' the source added, referring to the fact that Turner now lives in her home country of England.

'Things between them are better than it's ever been since their split,' the source continued.
For his part, Jonas recently gave insight into his co-parenting relationship with Turner during Jay Shetty's On Purpose Live Tour in Hollywood, Fla. In a TikTok video, Jonas could be heard telling Shetty that he has a "beautiful co-parenting relationship" with Turner.
'I have a beautiful co-parenting relationship that I'm really grateful for,' he said. 'Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.'

ESPN, Fox team up for bundled streaming service in October

Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Disney's ESPN and Fox Corp. on Monday announced the two rivals are joining forces to offer a streaming service to consumers as a bundle for $39 per month. The two media giants announced the service but last week ESPN and Fox each announced separate all-in-one streaming apps. The services can be downloaded on devices, including cellphones and tablets, and can be accessed on smart TVs and gaming consoles. With viewership declining on TV, including cable, media companies have turned to streaming services as a way to boost viewership and revenue. CNBC reported that sports is a way to accomplish this. Last week, both companies announced their services -- ESPN's Direct to Consumer Unlimited Offering and Fox One -- will launch on Aug. 21 before the college football and NFL seasons. But the bundle won't be available until October. ESPN's separate service will cost $29.99 month and Fox's will be $19.99. Also, ESPN will offer a bundle with Disney's other streaming services, Disney+ and Hulu, for $35.99 per month. Besides events, both companies present sports news. The ESPN service will include live sports and programming from its TV networks, including ESPN2, the SEC Network, the ACC Network, as well as Disney-owned ABC. ESPN also reached an agreement last week with the NFL to acquire the NFL Network, including the Red Zone. And ESPN last week signed a deal with the WWW for U.S. rights in 2026 to its biggest wrestling events, including WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam. In all, ESPN/ABC cover 47,000 live events each year, as well as studio shows and original programming. ESPN and ABC sports include Monday Night Football, college football and basketball, NHL, NBA, Major League Soccer, golf, tennis and motorsports. In addition, an enhanced app will integrate game statistics, betting information, fantasy sports, multi-view options and a "personalize SportsCenter For You," the company said. Fox's parent company offers Tubi and Fox Nation. Fox's sports networks include FS1, FS2 and the Big Ten Network. The company said Fox One won't have original content. Last week, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch and Disney CEO Bob Iger said during earnings calls that they were considering offering bundle services. Fox Sports' coverage includes NFL, college football and basketball, Major League Baseball, FIFA World Cup, Major League Soccer, motorsports, WNBA, LIV Golf and boxing. Three other media companies offer sports: Comcast's NBC, Warner Bros. Discovery's TNT and Paramount Skydance's CBS. NBC, which has the rights to the Olympics, has Peacock streaming, and CBS offers Paramount+, services that include sports. TNT doesn't have a specific app but its services can be bundles with other apps. On Monday, Paramount announced plans to televise UFC events starting next year.

Singer stops concert to scold fan who brought baby to show without ear protection

A video of Colombian singer Maluma has gone viral, showing the artist stopping his concert over the weekend to scold a fan who brought a toddler to his show without ear protection. "Do you think it's a good idea to bring a 1-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are this f------ high?" the 31-year-old says in Spanish in the video. "That baby doesn't even know what they're doing here. Next time, protect their ears or something. For real." Maluma, who is a parent to a 1-year-old daughter with partner Susana Gómez, continued, "It's your responsibility. You're waving them around like they're a toy. That baby doesn't want to be there, for real. I'm telling you with all the love and respect -- now that I'm a father, I would never bring them to a concert. So, for the next time, be a bit more aware, OK?" According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, hearing loss can occur in both children and adults, and even before birth. Excessive exposure to loud noises can cause noise-induced hearing loss, which the CDC notes can "result from a one-time exposure to a very loud sound, blast, or impulse, or from listening to loud sounds over an extended period." The World Health Organization also estimates that over 1 billion people between the ages of 12 and 35 are "at risk for hearing loss due to recreational exposure to loud sound." To prevent hearing loss, the CDC recommends avoiding places with loud sounds or limiting exposure, if possible, using ear protection and turning down the volume of music systems or moving away from loud sounds. Doctors' group warns sleep and sound machines may be too loud for kids Maluma is set to wrap up his + Pretty + Dirty World Tour this August, with four more tour stops, three in Mexico and the final show in El Salvador.
