He previously dated presenter Hayley Palmer from 2023 until splitting in 2024. Speaking to the Daily Mail , the 44-year-old gave her verdict on her Mark's search for new love. Although wishing her ex well, Hayley said she did not intend on watching him in the E4 show. She added: "A year later, I've been able to turn past trauma into something positive. "I feel like I've done a lot of glowing up. I am in a really strong, happy place. Feeling very grounded." Mark and Hayley confirmed their split in May 2024, just days after their one-year anniversary. Taking to Instagram at the time, Hayley wrote in her Story: 'It is with regret I announce that myself and Mark have gone our separate ways. "We had the best year together and I truly wish him all the best for the future." The Sun later told how Mark took a swipe at his ex, saying he would only consider divorcing estranged wife Katie if he met someone serious. EXCL The Chase's Mark Labbett reveals he was forced to quit date after shock health scare Mark married Katie - who is also his second cousin - in 2014 and they separated in 2020. The former couple also welcomed a son during their marriage. He said: 'It will happen if either Katie or I get with someone serious — then it might obviously be a different matter.' Mark spoke out after Hayley told The Sun a month earlier that his break-up with her a week after their one-year anniversary left her 'completely crushed'. She said at the time: 'The whole thing was traumatic, and it's been a journey to heal from it. He was truly beastly.' But Mark feels relieved, explaining: 'I'm just quite content being on my own. 'Facts are easy. Numbers are easy. People are complicated. 'I could sum me up as the kind of guy who could tell you the capital of Estonia is Tallinn but would have no idea why that pretty girl is giving me a funny half-smile. 'That's why I never played poker seriously, because I realised I can't read people.' Mark Labbett and Hayley Palmer relationship timeline May 16, 2023 - The pair went on their first date to a Toby Carvery in Southsea, Portsmouth. December 24, 2023 - The couple decided to record a podcast together after being in a relationship for several months. They planned to cover everything from Mark wooing Hayley with his Toby Carvery card to dating in the public eye, shopping trips, their big rule of not sharing chips and hilarious inside jokes. May 25, 2024 - Mark broke up with Hayley over the phone, saying he wasn't ready to finalise his divorce with his ex wife Katie. Meanwhile, Hayley later fired back at these comments. Taking to Instagram, she told fans: 'I think it's a shame that someone could say something so heartless over a relationship that lasted over a year. "I have moved on and working to be the best version of myself. "I think what is actually serious is Mental Health and we should all be working together towards a caring Christmas. X."

The conversation soon turned to the moment Lucy - then 21 - was raped by a hotel porter during production of The X Factor. Lucy was competing on the ITV series in 2012 and made it through to the live shows. But after a drunken night out with fellow competitor Rylan Clark for his 25th birthday, Lucy was raped by a hotel porter who had used a traceable key card to get back into her room while she was passed out. Sharing her ordeal with the Celebrity SAS staff, as she started by explaining what she wanted to find out about herself. She stammered: "Where I, where I...I've been broken so many times." She went on to explain how being on The X Factor was "everything I'd ever wished for". But then she moved on to the fateful night when her world changed and she said: "I was wasted, I was paralytic." "The hotel porter said 'Oh I'll give her a hand' and I was paralytic. I passed out on the bed, so I can only tell you this stuff because of the information that I have been told. "When that hotel porter came up to my room to do what not-nice people do to vulnerable women." X Factor's Lucy Spraggan breaks down in tears as she's forced to cancel run of shows Trying to keep her composure, she continued: "I woke up and I didn't really know I knew what had happened but I didn't know what to do." Thankfully, the fact the porter used a key card was what helped identify him as her rapist and he was arrested. Lucy left the show soon after, with viewers having no idea about what really happened. Recalling how she felt at that point, a tearful Lucy said: "It was tough, hard." It felt like everything was snatched away from me in a really brutal way. Lucy Spraggan She then hung her head as the tears finally burst out before she wiped her eyes and calmed down a little. She then told the staff: "It was seven years of, like, trying to destroy myself. The amount of times I was blackout drunk, again, after that. "I know that that's what that was, I was just trying to shut everything out, but it felt like everything was snatched away from me in a really brutal way. "And I was like 'I haven't done anything wrong'. And so, I was angry about that, I was angry that other people had music careers that were better than mine. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, said: 'We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand. "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.' On top of Season 2 of With Love, Meghan, they will also do a "Holiday Celebration" Christmas special this December. Advertisement "Join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration," the announcement reads. "Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home. It's a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy." There will also be a short film called"Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within". It will look at Uganda's Masaka region, and the HIV/AIDS crisis linger. Advertisement A statement added: "Archewell Productions is in active development on additional projects with Netflix that span a variety of content genres, including the feature adaptation of the bestselling novel by Carley Fortune, Meet Me At The Lake. "This romantic drama follows a decade-spanning love story that begins with a chance encounter and a broken promise." Bela Bajaria, Netflix's Chief Content Officer, said: 'Harry and Meghan are influential voices whose stories resonate with audiences everywhere. "The response to their work speaks for itself — Harry & Meghan gave viewers an intimate look into their lives and quickly became one of our most-watched documentary series. Advertisement "More recently, fans have been inspired by With Love, Meghan, with products from the new As ever line consistently selling out in record time. "We're excited to continue our partnership with Archewell Productions and to entertain our members together.' It was previously thought that the Sussexes' £78million deal with the streamer was not going to be renewed. Harry's vanity project, Polo, about the sport, was watched by just 500,000 people. Advertisement It was also understood that bosses were mildly infuriated by Meghan making her As Ever brand a priority. The With Love, Meghan viewing figures have reportedly been "dismal". Lifestyle and cookery show With Love, Meghan only ranked at number 383 in Netflix's six-monthly engagement report this year, with just 5.3million viewers across the globe. Described by one critic as an 'exercise in narcissism', it was beaten by reruns of the first four seasons of legal drama Suits, which also starred the Duchess in her pre-royal days. Advertisement Once judged by some as Britain's greatest soft power asset since Princess Diana, Meghan was filmed for her show making ladybird-shaped canapes from cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls. In truth, the show is a smash hit compared to her husband's vanity docuseries Polo, blasted as 'a dull indulgence about a rich person's pursuit'. In the first six months of the year the programme attracted a disastrous 500,000 views globally, ranking it at number 3,442 out of around 7,000 shows. Reruns of the nine-year-old cartoon He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe scored similar numbers. Advertisement It was also recently announced Netflix had signed a deal with King Charles and Idris Elba for a documentary exploring the impact of the King's Trust. It comes as the streaming giant is making a new season of With Love, Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle show was widely derided by viewers and reviewers alike. But the huge interest in the programme, which features Meghan with cameos from husband Prince Harry, convinced bosses to give it another outing. Advertisement The duchess posted on Instagram at the time saying she's "thrilled" with the decision. Wearing a Netflix cap she was seen grinning in a short clip on her stories, with the caption: "Lettuce romaine calm... or not(!) because I'm thrilled to share that Season 2 of 'With Love, Meghan' is coming!" With Love, Meghan is the second Netflix collaboration for the Sussexes, who signed a lucrative multi-million pound deal with the streaming giant back in 2020. The Duchess of Sussex's podcast Confessions of a Female Founder — focusing on entrepreneurs — also dropped out of the Spotify Top 100 lists in the US and UK. Advertisement Ingrid Seward, of Majesty magazine, said of the 43-year-old's podcasts: 'They are deeply dull. I don't think she's at the cutting edge. "She hasn't pressed the right buttons this time. She's just not talented enough. She appears to be pretty complacent and shameless about what she does. It's just boring.' With Love, Meghan was released to tie in with the launch of the Duchess of Sussex's As Ever brand. However both her Netflix series and her brand have been slammed by royal experts time and time again. Advertisement Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, broadcaster Esther Krakue questioned the point of the eight-part With Love, Meghan, which saw the duchess hosting celeb pals such as Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer. The Netflix series saw Meghan making guest baskets, beeswax candles, and a single skillet spaghetti, filmed at a farmhouse near her £12million Montecito mansion. Esther shared: 'There's nothing there. 'She's very, like - I'm not saying this to be horrible - she is not an entertainer or an entertaining person." Advertisement After signing on the Sussexes in a deal reportedly worth £78million over five years, Netflix has so far created a Harry & Meghan documentary, Invictus and Polo. Despite any criticism, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is said to be in full support of the Duchess of Sussex. The second series of With Love, Meghan — with no Harry or their children Archie, six, and Lilibet, three — has already been filmed and is due to be screened in the autumn. 5 It comes as the streaming giant is making a new season of With Love, Meghan Credit: Instagram Advertisement
