CABSAT marks its 31st edition with over 450 exhibitors and 18,000 attendees, promising three days of impactful discussions, demos and networking. Co-located Integrate Middle East returns for its third edition, spotlighting the fast-evolving Pro AV and media tech sectors.
Dubai is set to once again host the region's leading media, content, broadcast, Pro AV and technology events as CABSAT and Integrate Middle East (Integrate ME) return from May 13 to 15, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. These co-located flagship gatherings promise to unite global industry leaders for a three-day showcase of innovation, collaboration and insights into the future of media and technology.
Celebrating its 31st edition, CABSAT has already solidified its position as the premier media and tech event in the MEASA region. The 2024 edition welcomed approximately 18,900 visitors and featured over 450 exhibitors from more than 120 countries. The upcoming event is expected to build on this success by introducing fresh content, global exhibitors and innovative technologies. With strong international participation, including new exhibitors and national pavilions from China, France and Germany, CABSAT 2025 will highlight the most advanced solutions shaping the future of media.
One of the event's popular highlights returning in 2025 is the Dubai Studio City Tour, offering visitors a rare behind-the-scenes experience inside one of MENA's largest production and post-production facilities. From cutting-edge green screen technology to its massive water tank studio and boutique production spaces, the studio tour provides insight into how major international and regional productions come to life, further cementing Dubai's role as a central hub for filmmaking.
Another key feature is the Co-Production Salon, a platform dedicated to fostering investment and collaboration in Arabic content production. Returning for its fourth edition with a 90% re-participation rate, the salon offers a space for content creators, investors and industry leaders to explore emerging opportunities in the growing MENA media market. Activities include the Co-Production Wall of Fame, the exclusive CEO Networking Power Hour, deep dives into future content trends, and an advanced matchmaking tool that connects industry stakeholders efficiently.
CABSAT 2025 will also present a full agenda of thought leadership sessions, panels and fireside chats. These discussions will tackle critical topics such as government support for media-tech innovation, the evolution of entertainment in MEASA, trends in content marketplaces, and the UAE's strategic rise as a filmmaking destination. Attendees can expect high-level discourse led by executives, policy-makers, and tech pioneers.
Demonstrations of the latest technologies will be a core part of the event. Exhibitors like ARET, a leader in custom broadcast solutions, will showcase advanced OB Vans and studio technologies. With a history of collaboration with major industry players like RAI, Ross Video and Lawo, ARET is set to display its most recent projects, including mobile units for Sharjah and Abu Dhabi Media. The company's long-standing presence at CABSAT underlines the event's reputation as a key venue for business development and innovation in the broadcast sector.
Meanwhile, with the global Pro AV market projected to reach $518bn by 2030, Integrate Middle East 2025 positions itself as the definitive platform for the region's digital transformation. The exhibition will explore how AI-driven automation, hyper-personalised digital signage and interactive AV experiences are revolutionising sectors such as smart cities, healthcare, retail, hospitality and corporate environments.
Exhibitors and global innovators will converge in Dubai to showcase how real-world applications of Pro AV technology are enhancing everything from urban infrastructure to remote collaboration. Companies like HOHEM will present intelligent AV solutions designed to elevate communication and user engagement in both business and public spheres.

Eutelsat, Rotana and Vestel launch targeted advertising on satellite TV

The platform's multi-solution architecture allows broadcasters to either manage ad scheduling themselves or opt for a streamlined, automated process. Satellite operator Eutelsat has teamed up with Rotana Media Services and consumer electronics giant Vestel to introduce geographic-based targeted advertising for satellite television channels. The partnership, unveiled at CABSAT 2025, aims to transform Free-to-Air (FTA) broadcasting by enhancing monetisation through precise audience targeting. Building on the success of its service—which has already improved the way FTA viewers discover and engage with content—Eutelsat is now reengineering delivery, playout and reporting mechanisms across mass-market satellite receivers. This new strategy is designed to accelerate the adoption of targeted advertising to 35m households in the MENA region within five years, from a total audience of 66m households currently served by the Eutelsat-Nilesat 7/8°West orbital position. Re-engineering delivery, playout and reporting mechanisms of mass market satellite receivers, Eutelsat and partners are driving the rapid rollout of satellite-targeted advertising to tens of millions of satellite households within a five-year timeframe. A multi-solution architecture will give broadcasters complete control to schedule and trigger advertising, or a managed approach for those who prefer to minimise the technical and administrative details. Aymeric Genty, President of the Eutelsat Video Business Unit, commented: 'Targeted advertising multiplies the revenue potential of each ad minute. Most advertisers are interested in the specific market segments that they are targeting. This enables broadcasters to expand their number of advertisers. It’s a win-win solution that generates more revenue through satellite television. The advertising opportunities on satellite are huge. There are 66 million households in MENA watching TV at the Eutelsat-Nilesat 7/8°West video neighbourhood. Our goal is to activate targeted ads for 35m of them within five years.' Nezar Nagro, President of Rotana Media Services, added: 'RMS operates at the intersection of premium content, advanced ad technology, and deep regional market expertise. With established offices in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt, we are uniquely positioned to unlock advertiser demand within local markets, enabling brands to target audiences with precision and scale. 'As advertisers increasingly demand proof of performance, our focus is also on enabling reliable return channel data from connected devices to validate ad delivery and audience engagement. This data layer is critical to building trust and accountability in a satellite-based targeting ecosystem. Coupled with geographic ad insertion, it opens the door to scalable, market-specific monetisation on linear TV, a transformation that brings the efficiencies and precision of digital into the satellite environment. We’re excited to partner with Eutelsat and Vestel to help realise this evolution.' At?nç Ö?üt, Deputy General Manager of Vestel Consumer Electronics Product Management, stated: 'As a leading TV manufacturer, we are committed to enhancing the user experience by providing smarter and more intuitive access to content. Our collaboration with Eutelsat to integrate functionality directly into our TVs is a significant step forward – offering consumers easier channel navigation and an enriched, dynamic programme guide. In addition, while most of our Smart TVs already support targeted advertising through internet-based IPTV environments, bringing this capability to satellite broadcasting has remained a challenge – until now. This advancement opens up new and exciting opportunities for personalised advertising on satellite TV, a breakthrough that will transform advertising monetisation in this space. We are delighted to be working with Eutelsat to lead this innovation.'

Quadsat and Arabsat sign MoU on spectrum and antennas

As part of the collaboration, Quadsat will create dedicated test and measurement protocols tailored specifically for Arabsat, along with a standard test report format, enhancing both consistency and reliability in antenna performance verification. Quadsat, a provider of UAV-based antenna testing and RF measurement solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Arabsat, the satellite operator in the MENA region. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at CABSAT 2025, outlining plans to collaborate on advanced spectrum management and antenna qualification technologies. The partnership aims to define clear protocols for selecting antenna vendors that meet Arabsat’s stringent performance standards, validate new antenna installations, and maintain and calibrate existing ground infrastructure. It will also support the detection and geolocation of unauthorised or interfering signals across Arabsat’s satellite fleet. With the satellite communications environment becoming increasingly complex, Arabsat sees this agreement as a critical step in ensuring optimal performance of its network. The operator intends to use Quadsat’s innovative testing solutions to evaluate flat panel antennas for multi-orbit operations and develop a data-driven system for vendor assessment. The collaboration will help Arabsat maintain the integrity and reliability of its services by streamlining antenna testing and promptly identifying sources of interference. Alsuwaidan, Senior Vice President & Chief Technical Officer, Arabsat, commented: 'As the satellite environment becomes more and more complex, it is increasingly important for us, as operators, to ensure maximum performance from the equipment across our network. By partnering with Quadsat, we are able to conduct advanced measurements and simulation validation for Flat Panel Antennas for multi-orbit, create a data-driven vendor selection and evaluation process, as well as being able to easily and efficiently identify unwanted signals on our satellites. This will help us to continue delivering a world-class performance for our customers.' Joakim Espeland, CEO, Quadsat, added: 'Arabsat’s commitment to this MoU is testament to its mission to deliver reliable and high-quality satellite capacity to a diverse customer base. With this partnership, we are making it easier for Arabsat’s customers to perform standardised test and qualification procedures, making it quicker for them to get online, whilst helping to ensure the network remains error-free.' As part of this partnership, Quadsat will develop a specific Arabsat test and measurement procedure, as well as a standard Arabsat test report format to ensure repeatability and good transparency in the antenna performance parameters that are most essential to Arabsat.
