Vincent has flashbacks of legendary Larry Bird in Prinsloo's display against Thunder
The Pretoria-born Prinsloo had 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Robinson Odoch-Opong knocked down a three-pointer at the death to help MBB to a 75-74 win in the Nile Conference.
'There were moments when I was having fond NBA flashbacks, because Pieter today [Tuesday], he reminded me of Larry,' Vincent said.
'No disrespect to Larry but some of the shots [Prinsloo] hit on the step-back threes and the low post moves, he was sensational.'
Vincent also praised Teafale Lenard Jnr, who scored 20 points, saying he reminded him of another teammate in former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen.
Pippen was a crucial member of the Bulls' championship-winning team that featured players such as Michael Jordan, Steve Kerr and Dennis Rodman and dominated the NBA in the 1990s.
'I also had some flashbacks with Teafale and a couple of those monstrous dunks that he had reminded me of Scottie,' Vincent said.

He said the adjustment he made by bringing 2.13m tall David Craig into the starting five in place of Nkosi Sibanyoni brought stability in their defence.
The win was the Johannesburg-based team's first in the BAL after losing two games at the weekend.
'Getting this win is almost like a full circle,' Vincent said. 'I first came to South Africa in 1999 and got involved with basketball.
'From coaching in South Africa, I got to the NBA and had a chance to coach.
'Having a chance 25 years later to come back and get this win, which is so important for what we're trying to do to get more exposure and promote basketball in South Africa, is important.
'So it's exciting, but more importantly, we have to keep our heads down and keep on working, and that's what we're going to do in the next few games.'
The win was influential in boosting MBB's chances for the playoffs in Pretoria.
The South African team have to win one game with a superior points difference or two games, depending on how other matches play out in the conference, to comfortably claim the last wild card spot.
That berth is now occupied by FUS Rabat of Morocco, who have won two games but have a -19 points difference.
MBB will next play Rwanda's Armée Patriotique at the same venue on Thursday.

Orlando Pirates receive R35 million bid for Mofokeng
Orlando Pirates have reportedly received a R35-million bid for starlet Relebohile Mofokeng from a familiar US-based club. Minnesota United are the US club reportedly keen on signing the speedy and skilful winger from the Buccaneers. This is according to American journalist Tom Bogert, who claims Minnesota had been keeping tabs on Mofokeng for quite some time. Furthermore, Bogert said Minnesota aim to draft Mofokeng into their U22 team for the upcoming Major League Soccer (MLS) campaign. Minnesota are the same that signed Bafana Bafana attacker Bonginkosi Hlongwane from then Maritzburg United. Handre Pollard back to steady shaky Bok ship
Experienced playmaker Handre Pollard has been recalled to steady the ship after the Springboks were on the receiving end of a savage beating at the hands of the Wallabies in Johannesburg last week. Pollard takes the place of Manie Libbok for a crunch Rugby Championship rematch between the sides in Cape Town on Saturday (kickoff 5.10pm). Frustrated Bok coach Rassie Erasmus, who roasted SA's performance after they blew a 22-0 lead at Ellis Park, has rung the changes in a bid to get his team back on the winning track. Powerful centre Jesse Kriel will take over the captain's armband from injured Siya Kolisi when the Boks bid to keep their hopes of Rugby Championship glory alive. SA will also be missing Pieter-Steph du Toit (concussion), Kurt-Lee Arendse (knee injury) and Edwill van der Merwe (ankle injury) for their second game. Erasmus named a team featuring 10 changes including returns for Cheslin Kolbe, Damian de Allende and Bok centurion Willie le Roux. Powerful prop Ox Nche will serve as Kriel's vice-captain for the first time in his international career, which dates back to 2018 when he made his Springbok debut against Wales in Washington DC. Only five players in the starting line-up retained their places from the team's 38-22 defeat against the Wallabies at Ellis Park. The only change to the front row was the inclusion of prop Thomas du Toit, who will pack down alongside Nche and Malcolm Marx. The experienced duo of Kriel and De Allende reunite in the midfield for the 38th time, while Grant Williams and Pollard will pair up at halfback. Erasmus said the changes were made because of injuries and strategic adjustments. 'We lost four players to injury last weekend, which obviously had an impact on a few of our selections,' he said. 'But we also know where we went wrong against Australia last week, so we made a few changes that we believe will offer us what we need for this game. 'Damian and Cheslin have also recovered from their injuries, and with their experience and knowledge of the Wallabies, it was a logical choice to recall them. 'We are determined to get things right this week. 'Prop Boan Venter got a taste of what it's like to face Australia last week, and Ruan Nortje did well against them last year. 'It will be good for a few other guys to experience playing against one of the top teams in the world, especially as we continue to build our squad depth. 'We are pleased with this squad, and we are all aligned on what we have to do to lift our standards this week.' Erasmus said he expected another physical battle against the Wallabies, who will have momentum on their side. 'There's no doubt they'll take a lot of confidence from their victory last week, and especially since that marked their first victory at Ellis Park against us in the professional era,' he said. 'We are still hurting from that result, and the coaches and players are extremely disappointed with the way we played last week. 'The Boks know we didn't play according to our standards in the second half, and we must rectify that.
