Argos 'perfect' no inflate paddling pool is £2.78 if shoppers do one thing
As the mercury rises and school holidays loom, many parents are looking for cost-effective and enjoyable ways to keep their children amused and cool this summer. A garden paddling pool is a popular choice but its setup and dismantling can often prove challenging. Argos offers a solution with its best-selling Bestway 6ft Fun Odyssey Pool, which requires no inflation and is easy to assemble. Simply unbox, unroll, fill with water, and it's ready for use. Usually priced at £18, savvy shoppers can get one of the paddling pools for less than £3 by using a money saving website, reports the Manchester Evening News. Bargain hunters who sign up as new members at TopCashback get get a free £15 sign-up bonus plus a percentage of their spend back every time they shop online at thousands of retailers, including Argos. This means new Argos customers shopping through TopCashback for the first time will effectively get the Bestway 6ft Fun Odyssey Pool for £2.78 after cashback while for shoppers who've bought from Argos before it works out at £2.85 after cashback. To get the offer shoppers need to sign up here and then shop normally with Argos. The cashback will track and then be available to withdraw, offering a straightforward way to save money. With much of the UK sweltering under temperatures up to 30 degrees, many of other retailers are offering deals on paddling pools, outdoor toys and even bargain hot tubs. More than 1,000 shoppers have already splashed out on the Splosh Inflatable Family Swimming Pool this month which measures 2m x 1.5m and currently costs £22.99. Meanwhile, Debenhams has the Intex 4 Seater Paddling Pool on offer for £50. Shoppers who don't want an entire pool set up in the garden perhaps for space or safety reasons can instead pick up a sprinkler splash pad on Amazon for £21.99. Meanwhile anyone looking for a grown up equivalent can currently get a huge £110 off the Lay-Z-Spa Honolulu 6-person hot tub at Argos with it reduced to £440. The Bestway Fun Odyssey Pool remains one of the best value options even before shoppers take advantage of the TopCashback deal. At its initial £18 price tag it has garnered hundreds of positive reviews. The pool is six feet in diameter making it an ideal size for young children. It takes roughly 15 minutes to fill and can double as a sandpit during chillier months. Bestway recommends the pool for children aged three and above, and insists on adult supervision during use. The pool also includes a repair kit for any unfortunate punctures. The pool has earned an impressive average rating of 4.2 out of five from over 200 reviews. A pleased customer shared: "For years we've had these pools. So much better and longer-lasting than the inflatable ones. Kids always love them." Another buyer commented: "Easy to put up. No pumping required, just roll up to put away. My three-year-old grandchild loved it especially when we put the end of the slide into the water." A different user remarked: "Perfect pool for the kids," continuing: "Bought this as a replacement to the blow up versions. No more trying find a pump, just unpack and fill to desired depth." However, one reviewer gave the Bestway 6ft Fun Odyssey Pool a moderate three-star rating, noting: "It's not too bad. You really need a flat surface for it to work well. We have a slight tilt and the water filled up it collected to that side." Yet another shopper expressed satisfaction with their Argos buy, stating: "Great pool for summer, its so easy to put up as you don't need to inflate it. Quite large, it does have high sides so can be filled up to the level you like which is great. Easy to empty as you can just fold the sides under the water, fab addition to keep the kids entertained over summer." Bestway has several other pools stocked by Argos which can also be bought using the TopCashback offer. This larger 7ft rectangular inflatable option TopCashback new member bonus.

Brits outraged at Aldi's 'British Week' range in Australia over one product
As Aldi stores in Australia launch their British and Irish week, it's left fellow Brits confused over the range available - with some saying the products aren't even available in the UK Aldi's Australian stores have sent Brits into a meltdown as they launched "British and Irish Week" and are treating shoppers to some of the finest British cuisine. One thing about us Brits is that we love a good snack, whether it's tucking into a bag of crisps, a bar of chocolate or some sweets - but those who have moved abroad, they no longer have access to the types of treats we have become accustomed to, and it's clear they are greatly missed. So when Aussie stores stocked some of the British 'staples', ex-pats piled in to get their hands on the goods - but it caused a mixed opinion with some claiming the products aren't even from the UK. Sydney, who is originally from the UK but now lives in Melbourne, took to TikTok under the username @ ukmidwifedownunder to share her haul after spending $50 (£25) on her quintessentially British items and stocked up on some of her favourites. She videoed the aisle which was packed with HP Brown Sauce, Cadbury's Dairy Milk and curlywurly's, M&M's, Worcestershire sauce, McVities Digestives and other goodies. Sydney then shared a clip of her items which included a Pot Noodle, Squashies, Smith's prawn cocktail crisps, HP Sauce, Orange Clubs, Galaxy, Tunnock's Tea Cakes and Caramel Wafers and some Bisto. However fellow TikTokers aren't impressed as they said you can't even get Smith's crisps in the UK as one viewer pointed out: "What are smiths crisps? Never seen them in UK," while another chimed: "I'm English and never heard of those crisps." However a fellow Brit living Australia gushed: "You cannot get prawn cocktail crisps here in Aus!!! The selection is awful compared to the uk so l ran to Aldi," and a second chimed: "That is the absolute best of British there." Another Brit making the most of British Week in Australia shared a similar video where she said: "Run don't walk to Aldi AU for your British & Irish sweet treats." Rachel, who goes by the TikTok username @ getfitwithrachel excitedly shared clips of the supermarket aisle where she showed Irn Bru, tins of mushy peas, Colemans Mint Sauce, Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney pie in a tin as well as Lion bars and Yorkie's But again the response was underwhelming for some, as one TikToker joked: "They really did the Aussies dirty sending them Fray Bentos pies," while another added: "Must have missed the part where Smith's chips were ever really an irish or english staple. Would make more sense to have walkers or taytos there lol."
