What channel is the Bills game on? How to watch Buffalo Bills vs New York Giants
Unlike their counterparts in Buffalo, Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane, both of who are rock solid in their positions now into their ninth years, this is probably a make-or-break season for Daboll and Schoen in New York.
Since Daboll and Schoen left Buffalo to become the coach and general manager of the Giants, respectively, Big Blue has a sorry record of 18-32-1. They made the playoffs in their first year at the helm in 2022 and won a wildcard game before getting routed by the Eagles, but then went 6-11 and 3-14 the last two seasons and have dealt with a constant cacophony regarding their future employment.
There is renewed hope with the Giants roster, though, as Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart are competing to become the starting quarterback, while Malik Nabers is already a star receiver in his second season, and the defense should be vastly improved with the addition of 2025 No. 3 overall draft pick Abdul Carter.
The biggest obstacle for the Giants is they play in the NFC East where the Eagles are defending Super Bowl champions, the Commanders reached last season's NFC Championship Game, and the Cowboys, while always overrated, are also always capable of being very good.
McDermott said Thursday that Josh Allen will not play in the game - Mitch Trubisky will start - but the other starters might get about one quarter of action.

Inter Milan Negotiations For Atalanta Talisman At A ‘Complete Standstill' – Talks Could Drag Into Mid-August
Inter Milan's negotiations with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman are still at a 'complete standstill' and could drag into mid-August. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Inter Milan's pursuit of Ademola Lookman has become the transfer soap opera of the summer. The Nigerian international has done everything he can to push for the move. He has not been in training for over a week, having made a very public transfer request last weekend. Meanwhile, Atalanta have rejected two bids from the Nerazzurri. Most recently an offer worth €45 million with add-ons. Inter Negotiations For Ademola Lookman Still At 'Complete Standstill' BERGAMO, ITALY – JANUARY 21: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta celebrates scoring his team's fourth goal during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Phase MD7 match between Atalanta BC and SK Sturm Graz at Stadio di Bergamo on January 21, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) For their part, Inter still don't want to go higher than €45 million with an offer for Lookman, reports the Gazzetta. And in the meantime, the Nerazzurri are waiting for something concrete from Atalanta. It has continued to be radio silence from the Bergamo club. There has been no formal counteroffer or valuation for Inter to base another offer on. Therefore, the Gazzetta report, the negotiations are at a 'complete standstill.' Sooner or later, there will be a decisive development. One way or another. However, for now, things could drag on for several more days, the newspaper reports.

Gazzetta: Inter set Lookman limit, Napoli option not over yet
Monday's reports claim that Inter have set their price limit for their no.1 transfer target Ademola Lookman, and that Napoli's interest in the Nigeria international is not over just yet. Inter have been attempting to pull off a move for Atalanta forward Lookman for several weeks, but as things stand, have not found a breakthrough in negotiations with La Dea, who are reluctant to sell one of their star players to a direct league rival. The Nerazzurri have seen an offer of €45m including bonuses turned down for the reigning African Player of the Year, which led to his releasing a statement via social media accusing Atalanta of breaking promises and that he had been treated poorly as a person and professional. MILAN, ITALY – APRIL 20: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta reacts during the Serie A match between AC Milan and Atalanta at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on April 20, 2025 in Milan, Italy. (Photo by) Lookman had also claimed that he had an agreement in place with Atalanta that he would be able to leave this summer should an appropriate offer come in. Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has since clarified that while there is an agreement in place to let Lookman leave this summer, it is only for a 'top' club outside of Italy. In frustration, Lookman decided to not report for training with La Dea, and for now, the situation remains locked in a stalemate. Inter hit Lookman limit, Napoli not over BERGAMO, ITALY – JANUARY 21: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta celebrates scoring his team's fourth goal during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Phase MD7 match between Atalanta BC and SK Sturm Graz at Stadio di Bergamo on January 21, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) According to updates from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have decided that they are not prepared to go beyond their current price limit for Lookman, which is understood to be at €45m before bonuses, and €50m including them. However, as things stand, there has been little contact with Atalanta, who are trying to show that they are not particularly keen on negotiating with a competitor from the same league. Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport adds that Napoli, who had originally expressed an interest in signing Lookman as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in January, are not completely out of the running, and that they could be ready to pounce if Inter decide to back out of negotiations.

10 notes on 10 Steelers from Week One of the preseason
On Saturday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on the strength of their passing offense. We have gone over the game and after breaking down the obvious like the quarterbacks, we have 10 notes on 10 Steelers who stood out for us and not always for good reasons. 1 - RB Kaleb Johnson Johnson's yards before contact were negative thanks to how awful the Steelers offensive line did run blocking so we give Johnson a pass this week. 2 - WR Max Hurleman At this point, we are crunching the numbers, trying to figure out how to get Hurleman on the 53-man roster. 3 - WR Roc Taylor Like Hurleman, Roc Taylor made a strong statement on Saturday and is really going to push guys like Scotty Miller and Ben Skowronek for the last spot on the depth chart. 4 - OT Troy Fautanu The run blocking by the Steelers offensive line was down overall but that's not on Troy Fautanu. Not only did he not give up a pressure on 24 passing snaps, he was the only offensive lineman consistently doing his job on run plays. 5 - DT Yahya Black Black only played 10 snaps but it was enough for us to be convinced he needs a heavier workload next week. Black's lateral agility for a man his size is remarkable. 6 - EDGE Jack Sawyer We aren't going to overreact but this wasn't a great debut for Sawyer as a pass rusher. We are hopeful he will play with more confidence next week. 7 - EDGE DeMarvin Leal Time is running out for Leal to show he can be a 275-pound edge rusher. He was a tweener coming out of college and he's still a tweener. 8 - S Juan Thornhill Thornhill came out and decided to be the tone setter and you can see he's embraced his role as the new starting free safety. 9 - S Chuck Clark The Steelers gave Clark plenty of opportunity to make a statement on Saturday, but he's still a work in progress to get on the right page with this defense. 10 - LB Payton Wilson Wilson only played 12 snaps on Saturday but still found his way to four tackles. He's going to have a huge breakout season. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: 10 notes on 10 Steelers from Week One of the preseason
