Tulisa Contostavlos' new life in country with secret 'soul family' after boyfriend disaster

Daily Mirror18 hours ago
There was a time when N'Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos was rarely out of the headlines. Now, reflecting on her turbulent years in her new book Judgement: Love, Trials, and Tribulations, she reveals that life today looks very different
Much of Tulisa Contostavlos 's life has been spent in the spotlight. From her early days with N-Dubz, to her stint as an X Factor judge, her solo career, her tumultuous love life, I'm A Celebrity appearance, and the famous collapse of her drug trial, the 37-year-old has consistently made headlines.

But more recently, she has opted for a different approach. Now Tulisa prioritises her happiness and wellbeing - and that has meant some dramatic changes.

The star has shared a detailed update on her new life in her new book, Judgement: Love, Trials, and Tribulations. She reveals that she has relocated to Cheshire in order to be close to her best friend Michelle McKenna, her husband Daniel and their daughter Nevaeh - Tulisa's goddaughter.

She also prioritises time with another best friend Percy, who travels with her son to see Tulisa on the weekends - and it is this tightknit clan that means the most.
She writes: "Through our bond, Percy has in turn become very close with Michelle and Dan, and together we have become the fantastic four. Or as I like to call us, the soul family. True love is a beautiful thing; I feel extremely blessed to have it and I cherish it dearly. I have become the kind of person that would do anything for their soul family, as they would for me."
According to Tulisa, she is much more of an introvert these days, who embraces her quiet life in the country - bar the occasional blowout or fun holiday. Instead she says she is focused on her fitness, health, and mental wellbeing, which includes meditation, structure and routine.
For the past year, she has been living in her dream home, which she spent six months doing up, in a quiet countrified area in the middle of nowhere.
"Honestly, I'm a bit of nerd in my spare time," she writes. "I've gone back to being an avid reader like I was in my teens. I'm obsessed with Ancient History and Ancient Alien theories. I'm currently on my fifth read of The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean. I watch all things fantasy, play PlayStation and of course I still love to cook, especially in my new kitchen."

And what about her love life? According to the star it's been "chaotic enough to write another ten books". She had an on-off relationship with a boyfriend named Jacob which lasted three years, and another with an older man she calls *Miles. After their breakup, she embarked on a three-year celibacy stint before reconciling with another ex named *Liam - and they even spent Christmas 2024 together. But it wasn't to be and she once again briefly reconnected with Miles.
Cut to present day, and Tulisa says she is forcing herself to date again in the hopes of a fresh start. But it's not a process she enjoys.
"I've played the bachelorette for most of my life and at times it's been a lot of fun, but I'm now 36 with 37 fast approaching and all the games haven't brought me any real happiness, only temporary fleeting kicks of excitement and thrills," she writes.
"I know I'm tired of it all, but I am also still scared shitless of settling down. I decided to freeze my eggs to take the pressure off and bide my time if needs be. All I know for sure is that everything I've been through has left deep scars, but I've also become a different person and it's time for a change. I'd say I'm finally open to finding someone to heal and grow with, and dare I say 'settle down'."

Katie Price 'will no longer be gaslighted' after Peter Andre's bombshell statement

Katie Price's spokesperson has responded after the reality TV star's ex-husband Peter Andre issued a statement criticising her and accusing her of making "repeated lies". Reality TV personality Katie Price has responded after her former husband Peter Andre released a statement targeting her. He slammed her in an extensive post where he claimed she had been telling "repeated lies" throughout the years following their divorce. ‌ Katie, 47, and Peter, 52, have been apart since 2009, with the former pair having started their romance after meeting on I'm A Celebrity in 2004. The former partners share children Junior Andre, 20, and Princess Andre, 18. ‌ Peter lashed out at Katie in a statement released earlier today, where he claimed she had been spreading "repeated lies" and declared he wished to "set the record straight". Katie's representatives have now responded to the remarks from her former spouse. ‌ A representative for Katie informed the Mirror: "Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was." Peter released his statement regarding Katie this evening, posting on Instagram: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today", reports the Mirror. "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children." He went on: "In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today." Peter wrapped up by telling his followers in the statement: "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months." ‌ Earlier this month, Katie launched an attack on her ex-husband and his management firm the CAN Group, who previously represented her as well, following the launch of their daughter's new programme the Princess Diaries. She alleged that she hasn't been permitted to participate or help steer Princess in her career. ‌ She revealed that she's "upset" that her daughter is being represented by Peter's management team, who she claimed view Katie as "trash". The former glamour model, Katie Price, has voiced her concerns about the Princess Diaries ahead of its ITV debut. On her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she expressed her disappointment that the CAN Group is managing her daughter Princess' career. Katie, who observed that her daughter is following a similar career path, stated: "I have not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome." ‌ She also reassured fans that Princess resides with her. While dismissing rumours of a feud, she said: "We get on like best friends, mother and daughter. Princess lives with me and she stays at her dad's. Now, she's been staying at her dad's the past two months because she's been filming her show." The CAN Group subsequently issued a statement which read: "As a company, our duty of care to our clients is paramount. We would never advise a client on their personal life unless asked and we have never stopped anyone seeing their families." More recently, Katie requested a meeting with Peter and her former management, the CAN Group. As previously reported, she said on her podcast: "I feel like I've missed out on so much and it's so not fair to bring Princess as piggy in the middle so I think it's about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it. Life would be such more at peace."

Katie Price and Peter Andre's nastiest clashes during their 16-year feud as it turns legal

After finding love in the jungle, they were once the nation's favourite couple, but since their bitter divorce, Peter Andre and Katie Price have been locked in a bitter feud for almost two decades. On Thursday night, Peter, 52, issued a bombshell statement and made a number of new claims about his ex-wife following the mum-of-five offering her former spouse an olive branch and calling for an end to their war of words. In his blistering statement, Peter claimed their two children, Junior and Princess Andre, have been in his care since 2018 "for their safety" as he publicly rejected Katie's call for a truce. Katie hit back, with her representatives telling the Mirror that the mum-of-five "will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was" and that the matter is "now in her lawyers hands. The former couple's latest slanging match is just the latest in a 16-year long war of words between the two stars. Here's a rundown of Katie and Peter's biggest clashes. Shock split announcement - 2009 Quick on the heels of sparking up a romance during their time on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! 2004, Katie and Peter quickly welcomed children Junior and Princess into the world and tied the knot at Highclere Castle, Hampshire in 2005. However, it wasn't meant to be and their split was announced in 2009 after four years of marriage. The statement from the couple's management company, Can Associates Limited, said at the time: "Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after four-and-a-half years of marriage.... They have both requested that the media respect their families' privacy at this difficult time." The joint statement marked the last time the exes would ever put on a united front. Katie and Peter, who remained with Can Associates Limited, embarked on multiple public spats as they moved on. Katie pays Peter libel damages - 2011 Two years on from the announcement, Katie was forced to issue a public apology to her ex after claiming the Mysterious Girl singer cheated on her and was not genuine with his feelings during their marriage. Peter started defamation proceedings in 2009, shortly after their split, over interviews Katie gave to Heat magazine and The Graham Norton Show. Katie was forced to pay "substantial" damages to her ex. At the time, Peter's solicitor said that the compensation would be paid into a trust fund for Harvey Price, Katie's eldest son with footballer Dwight Yorke. Katie brands Peter's wife Emily 'disgusting' - 2022 In a quickly deleted social media post at the start of 2022, Katie took a seemingly unprovoked attack at her ex-husband's new wife. She shared a magazine cover featuring Dr Emily Andre on her Instagram Stories, branding the mother-of-three a "disgusting person". "My mouth has been shut for so long but I've had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so called woman @dr_emily_official," Katie began in the deleted Instagram Story. "Always said I don't want to be famous yet doesn't do too bad to stay away from media and TV and now trying to make a career out of it. So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children's faces up!". Katie, who was writing one year on from her drug-drive crash, then accused the doctor of "being jealous" of the relationship she has with her eldest daughter. "She claims to be a doctor who clearly doesn't have a clue about mental health," the mum-of-five continued in the post. "Oh and stopped my daughter from visiting me at The Priory when she wanted to see her mum. She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down. Emily you are not and never will be my kids' parent so mind your own business, your so two faced and definitely not the person you portray to the public. I think your a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life." 'Pete was a nobody' - 2024 During an appearance on Anything Goes with James English, Katie claimed Peter wasn't a major star before they began a relationship. "When we did jobs together I'd always get more money, make sure we had separate contracts," she claimed on the podcast. "I think he found that a bit hard as well. I was like well hang on you've just turned up in the jungle, I've already got a career going on. You had a song like, how many years ago? you need to earn it. this is the truth, I don't care what anyone says I made Pete again. I made him" She added: "He was no one before he went in the jungle and that's the truth, that's not me being a b****. He done that one hit, like 10 years ago and I think he forgets where he came from."
