UFC 319 faces disruption after back-to-back fight cancellations within 24 hours
Sudden upheaval has struck UFC 319, which was set to be headlined by the highly anticipated middleweight title clash between champion Dricus du Plessis and challenger Khamzat Chimaev.
Injuries sidelined two primary undercard bouts just a day before fight night in Chicago; the fights on the eve of the main card were aimed at building momentum for the main card. It is this rare double punch that has made the promotion scramble, changing the card at the last minute.
King Green
vs. Diego Ferreira pulled as Green says 'I can't walk'
The first match to fall was that of UFC veteran King Green vs. Diego Ferreira, a lightweight bout which was withdrawn with less than 48 hours to go until UFC 319 after Green sustained an undisclosed injury. Then Green posted a very emotional, bloody, and 'real' Instagram story after, which read:
"I said I would never pull out of a fight… this one is different.
I can't even f***ing walk.'
Ferreira, who had been pursuing the fight for some time, expressed his frustration but remained optimistic about the possibility of rescheduling. He labeled Green as "a veteran" and said he wished it had happened later in the process. The only casualty of the rearrangement is UFC 319 losing its marquee middleweight title fight.
TUF 33 welterweight finale also cancelled, to be rescheduled
Within three hours of the Green-Ferreira fight being scratched, another bout fell through, this one the welterweight final of Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 33 between Rodrigo Sezinando and Daniil Donchenko.

The reason for the cancellation comes from a fight week injury, though it is now known which of the two fighters has been struck down.
U
FC officials intend to rebook the match for later, and several outlets report that Noche UFC 3 on September 13 in San Antonio is the new target. A flyweight TUF finale between Alibi Idiris and Joseph Morales is still on the card and remains tentatively slated to move forward as scheduled.
UFC adds fresh matchup in the middleweight division
To balance out the card and to make sure that it doesn't decline depth, the UFC quickly added a middleweight bout featuring a pair of newcomers: Baisangur Susurkaev (9-0) and Eric Nolan (8-3). Susurkaev had only booked his place in the Octagon at a Tuesday finish on Dana White's Contender Series, while Nolan rides in off a four-fight win streak.

Overall, the undercard for UFC 319 shrank in a hurry as the show neared, but the promotion was quick to the punch to save the card and fans' interest. That being said, the headline attraction is still intact while providing new interest with a newly minted middleweight clash.

Kroy Biermann reveals disturbing custody details and warns Kim Zolciak home is hurting their children's mental health
Kroy Biermann reveals disturbing custody details and warns Kim Zolciak home is hurting their children's mental health (Image via Getty) Kroy Biermann has asked a Georgia court to make his home the main residence for the four children he shares with reality star Kim Zolciak. The former NFL player claims that the current shared custody arrangement is harming the kids' mental health. Under the existing plan, each parent takes care of two children at a time, with the older sons and younger twins switching homes weekly. Kroy Biermann argues that this split setup is not good for the children and wants full custody to provide stability and proper guidance. Kroy Biermann details concerns over Kim Zolciak's parenting and household environment According to court documents filed by Kroy Biermann's legal team, there is a 'noteworthy absence of structure and accountability' in Kim Zolciak's home. Biermann claims that his children often lack parental supervision when at their mother's house. Biermann accuses Kim of leaving the kids home alone or with other people for long periods of time. Biermann thinks this doesn't allow it to have consistent training for the children, that are a must for their emotional and mental health. The ex-NFL player stresses how one home offers the kids more stability in routine, behavior, and their family togetherness. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Linda Kozlowski, 67, Shows Off Her Perfect Figure In A New Photo The Noodle Box Also Read: Travis Hunter Continues Two Position Role As Trevor Lawrence And Coaching Staff Monitor His Snap Count Closely Kroy Biermann explains the need for primary custody to protect children's best interests Kroy Biermann points out that the current weekly rotation between his home and Kim Zolciak's disrupts the children's daily lives. He claims the older sons and younger twins live almost separate lives, and this split can create confusion and stress for the children. Kroy Biermann says that his goal is to offer a stable environment where all four kids can be together, receive consistent guidance, and have regular parental involvement. He argues that being the primary custodian in his home would be better supervision, more structured activities and a healthier environment for the kids. The legal filing was filed in Georgia in August 2025, and Kroy Biermann's lawyers are now asking the judge for a review and to grant him primary custody. The case is gripping due to the continued disagreements between former NFL star Biermann and Kim Zolciak about how they are parenting and caring for their children. Biermann states the move has everything to do with the children's best interests, nothing to do with personal matters, and to ensure a more stable and accountable home for all four kids.
