‘Everyone Is Here': Fans After Avengers Doomsday's Set Pictures Hint At X-Men Location
Last Updated:
A couple of pictures from the sets of Avengers: Doomsday have surfaced online, showing a 1960s house with the sign "Chicago."
It seems like the X-Men's role in Avengers: Doomsday is becoming clearer with every latest update. At a time when the cast of the upcoming Avengers film has been revealed, including Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr., Marvel Studios still has a fair share of surprises with the latest set pictures teasing an epic crossover. The new photos reportedly feature a 1960s-era house that is being built in Windsor, with leaked plans suggesting it could be a X-Men scene.
Being widely shared across social media platforms, the post shows the house with a metal windmill outside, featuring a sign that states, 'Chicago." Fans also mention a spaceship, but that's about all of the available information. With very limited ideas to go on, fans wasted no time joining the dots.
One of the fans pointed out that Hank McCoy, also known as X-Men's Beast, was shown as a native of rural Illinois in Marvel Comics' history. Having said that, should the scene feature him and a spaceship, fans wondered if it could be a scene where Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) meets McCoy.
Some suggested that the house could belong to Monica Rambeau, who was last seen in the X-Men universe in The Marvels. Others wondered if it is home to Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter in alternate timelines. Interestingly, the ideas are largely speculative and remain unconfirmed.
One wrote, 'Hank's from rural Illinois in the comics. If the ship does belong to Carol, maybe she's going to see Beast because that's where Monica is," while another added, 'Omg, is it Steve Rogers after he went back in time for Peggy?"
I have a feeling it's gonna be Avengers: Eternity Wars or Avengers: Forever the 3rd part to Doomsday & Secret Wars I also find it a coincidence that they put that the same month as Doomsday & Secret Wars & year after Secret Wars or maybe it's an X-Men movie— ThatzJay (@NotThatzJay) June 19, 2025
On the other hand, various codenames are also being used for the house, referring to characters like Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and even The Void. Speculations are rife that it has been named after Annie Reynolds aka Sentry's mother, and may feature something related to The Void.
A second house is set to be built for 'AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY' at Windsor Great Park. It is named after 'Annie Reynolds', Sentry's mother, and will feature something related to The Void.

This is not the first set of pictures that has ignited speculation of the Avengers and X-Men crossover. Earlier this month, cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel, best known for his work on X-Men: Days of Future Past, dropped a first look at what appeared to be the franchise's X-Mansion. The picture added to the growing speculations about whether Marvel Studios has started laying the groundwork for the X-Men's much-awaited debut in the MCU.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026.

Marvel Boss Kevin Feige To Quit After Avengers: Secret Wars? Viral Rumour Shocks MCU Fans
Last Updated: Back in February 2024, there were whispers that Kevin Feige might be leaving Marvel to focus on a Star Wars reboot. Is Kevin Feige planning to exit Marvel Studios after Avengers: Secret Wars? That's the burning question circulating across social media after a viral post claimed the Marvel Studios President might part ways with the studio in 2027. The rumour, which first surfaced via the fan account @MCUSource on X (formerly Twitter), has ignited a flurry of reactions from MCU fans, sparking debates over the future of the franchise. 'BREAKING: Kevin Feige is planning to leave Marvel Studios after the release of #Avengers: SECRET WARS!" the unverified post read. Neither Marvel nor Disney has released any official statement to confirm or deny the claim, but that hasn't stopped fans from weighing in. #Avengers: SECRET WARS! — MCU Source (@MCUSource) June 17, 2025 One fan reacted, 'Wonder why? It's not like the whole mcu is gonna reboot or something like that… right?……" Another praised Feige's legacy: 'Well, love it or hate it, he built something completely singular in its success in film history." Some speculated that creative differences with Disney could be a factor. 'The power struggle with Disney might be at play… they apparently want more MCU content and Mr Feige want to take a different approach," one user guessed. Many acknowledged the fatigue plaguing recent Marvel releases, while also lauding Feige's past achievements. 'SALUTE HIM FOR ALL HE'S DONE… BUT IT IS TIME FOR SOME NEW BLOOD AND NEW IDEAS," read a comment. Another added, 'Honestly, might be the smartest move at this point. Feels like Feige emptied the tank with Endgame… no soul, no momentum." Interestingly, this isn't the first time Feige's potential exit has made headlines. Back in February 2024, there were whispers that he might be leaving Marvel to focus on a Star Wars reboot. Those rumours, like this one, were never substantiated. Despite the speculation, Marvel's official release calendar remains unchanged. In fact, Feige has been actively discussing upcoming projects, including the much-anticipated introduction of the Fantastic Four and X-Men into the MCU, suggesting he's still very much at the helm. For now, the report remains a rumour with no concrete backing. But with the MCU at a turning point, fans are watching every move Feige makes. First Published: June 19, 2025, 20:38 IST

Materialists Stars Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans Love These Rom-Coms. Any Guesses?
Last Updated: Chris Evans shed light on his character, John, from the recently released film Materialists. The actor shared that, according to him, John was a 'film snob' who disliked rom-coms. Materialists, led by Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal, hit the big screens on Friday, June 13. The romantic drama, directed by Celine Song, revolves around a messy love triangle between the two. At present, the cast is busy promoting the movie. In one such media interaction, Dakota, best known for her role in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise and Chris Evans, aka Captain America, revealed which rom-coms their Materialist characters would love. Dakota Johnson essays the character of Lucy, a New York City-based matchmaker. Chris Evans, on the other hand, slips into the shoes of John, a struggling actor and Lucy's ex-boyfriend. Pedro Pascal is seen as Lucy's potential love interest, Harry Castillo. Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans recently had a candid conversation with Entertainment Weekly. When asked to name the Hollywood rom-coms Lucy and John would choose, Chris was quick to reply for Dakota. He said, 'Lucy might like something more cynical." Disagreeing with her co-star, Dakota Johnson shared, 'Well, probably. But I feel like in their world, it is a different world and so they would love Woody Allen movies." The Academy Award-winning filmmaker is credited with soul-stirring films like Annie Hall, Something Else, Midnight in Paris, Coup de Chance, Manhattan, Match Point and Blue Jasmine, to name a few. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Entertainment Weekly (@entertainmentweekly) When it was Chris Evans' turn, the 44-year-old revealed, 'I almost feel like John does not like rom-coms." Dakota Johnson intervened and asked, 'Oh, you are like he is too serious?". Without any hesitation, Chris answered, 'John is like a film snob", shedding light on his Materialists' role. Previously, Chris Evans opened up about his personal red and green flags when in love. The Avengers star said, 'Red flags – if you don't love animals. If you're not a dog person but you're a cat person, I'll allow it. But if you don't do animals at all, that's a red flag. There's no way that's going to work for me." Speaking about what he considers a green flag, Chris Evans shared, 'Just a sense of kindness. I like kind people, you know."
