Josie Gibson admits 'I can't wait' as she takes on role outside of This Morning
ITV has revealed that This Morning star Josie Gibson is set to front her own television programme separate from This Morning.
Described as embarking on a 'renovation of a lifetime', Josie will be welcoming ITV audiences into her fresh West Country residence.
The programme, dubbed Josie Gibson's Big Country Build, will follow the 40-year-old as she tackles the mammoth task of transforming her rundown Somerset property into a contemporary 21st-century dwelling.
With cameras capturing the mayhem that ensues, Josie is determined to cultivate her own produce and generate her own power, showcasing her commitment to environmental consciousness and eco-friendly living.
A description of the programme states: "In a bid to ensure her new home and the stunning landscape around her is protected and preserved.
"From installing an underground heat pump to setting up auto-flowing beehives, Josie will explore ways to maintain her four acres of land in the most eco-friendly way."
The series, produced by MGM Alternative UK, is slated to broadcast in 2026 and will comprise seven episodes.
Throughout the journey, ITV audiences will witness Josie collaborating with her siblings and scrap metal dealers Josh and Charlie, reports the Mirror.
Her relative 'Builder Tom' will also be offering assistance, joined by an array of quirky neighbours all eager to support Josie in bringing her dream venture to fruition.
Prior to the series, Josie revealed: "My dream is to build a house as eco and luxurious as possible, where you are immersed in the sanctuary of nature. I want to use the acres of land to try and do my best to have a little small holding.
"I want bees, birds, and badgers to all live in harmony. Though I'm becoming increasingly concerned that my harmonious dream is slowly turning into a construction nightmare.. I can't wait to bring the audience along on this journey with me!"
ITV audiences will witness every stage of the renovation venture as the This Morning presenter endeavours to create her ideal dwelling.
Featuring tinted windows, a walk-through wardrobe and a personal fitness suite, Josie certainly has her hands full.
The synopsis added: "She adapts to new surroundings, Josie will be building lots of new friendships with neighbours who could prove integral towards making her renovation dreams a reality."

Prince Harry responds to claims he 'struck Prince Andrew and bloodied his nose'
Prince Harry had addressed claims he punched Prince Andrew in the face at a family gathering in 2013 Prince Harry has refuted allegations that he left Prince Andrew with a "bloody nose" during a heated confrontation, as claimed in a explosive new book. The Duke of Sussex stands accused of striking the Duke of York at a family event in 2013 after calling him a "coward" in author Andrew Lownie's latest work Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York. Relations are said to have erupted between the Royal duo after Harry learned of "something Andrew said" behind his back, he writes, noting that the bond between the pair has remained strained for over a decade following the purported incident. In a fresh excerpt from the publication, Mr Lownie states: "At a family gathering in 2013, Harry and Andrew had got into a heated argument, and punches were thrown over something Andrew said behind Harry's back." In the book, which is being serialised by the Daily Mail, he continued: "According to a source close to both men, Harry told him he was a coward not to say it to his face. "Harry got the better of Andrew by all accounts, leaving him with a bloody nose before the fight was broken up," reports the Mirror. The writer also characterised Prince Andrew's rapport with both his nephews Harry and William as "problematic", with Andrew subsequently alleged to have informed the Duke of Sussex that his union with Meghan Markle would "not last more than a month". Harry's representatives have dismissed both allegations featured in the new publication. In a statement to People magazine, a member of the Duke's staff said: "I can confirm neither of those things are true. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight. "Nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry." The book also claims that Prince William has been operating behind the scenes to back Andrew's removal from the Royal Lodge, the £31 million Windsor estate where the Duke of York resides with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. This comes after numerous reported efforts by King Charles to have his brother ejected from the 31-bedroom mansion, with the Duke of York seemingly determined to remain. Photographs from earlier this year revealed the property looking notably deteriorated, with black mould, dampness, and cracked paintwork evident around the exterior, as well as the outbuildings and the gatehouse. The Prince of Wales is reported to have "long harboured" contempt for both Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, according to the book, and would seek to remove the pair himself upon ascending to the throne should his father fail to do so. Sue Radford stops daughter Katie from visiting home with young son as she admits 'struggles'
Sue Radford was seen giving her daughter Katie some "tough love" in the latest episode of 22 Kids and Counting Sue Radford prevented her daughter Katie from popping round to their family home with her little lad in the latest instalment of their reality programme as part of her "tough love" approach. The Radford family first found fame when they appeared in their own Channel 5 show 22 Kids & Counting where they document the life of their large and ever-growing family. During the most recent episode, viewers saw new mum Katie struggle with motherhood as she relocated from an 11-bedroom family mansion where she resided alongside her numerous brothers and sisters, to a cramped flat. She gave birth to her first baby Ronnie with her partner of six years Connor Carter last October, though things haven't been entirely plain sailing for the 22-year-old. During the programme, she revealed her battles with night-time feeding sessions every two hours alongside feeling "isolated" and regretting her decision to move out, reports the Mirror. Shortly after welcoming her son Ronnie Hudson Carter into the world, the pair relocated to a compact flat situated just two hours away from the family residence. Katie has been struggling particularly since her partner Connor returned to his job. Discussing the circumstances, she explained: "A baby takes up a lot of room, there just wouldn't have been room in my mum and dad's house for us all. "Last night, he woke up every two hours... I don't think anything prepares you for having your own, I didn't expect this to be me. Connor went back to work today and it is harder, you've got to do everything yourself. "It is a lot harder living on your own. At home you've got your parents and your siblings to help, whereas when you're at your own place you've got to do it on your own. I wasn't prepared for any of that - the loneliness." Katie revealed she particularly yearns for her mum and dad and confessed it feels as though she's completely alone. Later in the programme, Katie admits she longs for the hectic atmosphere of living at home surrounded by her numerous brothers and sisters. The mum-of-one had been popping back to the family house almost daily, but mum Sue felt compelled to dish out some "tough love". She explained: "She was coming round every single day, 8:30am and then not going back until 6pm - I think she was missing everybody." She continued: "Katie coming round to the house every day is not really gonna help her settle into being in the flat on her own. Trying to help her, there's got to be a bit of tough love there." One scene captures Katie strolling with Ronnie as she remarks: "My mum's text - said I can't come round very strange." She reveals: "Memories like Ronnie's first smile or his first giggle, I'd like to share the moments with all my family, they're missing out on that. Some days I do regret moving from home."
